A Case Study on the Protection of Endangered Species Campaign in Domestic and Foreign Companies (국내외 기업의 멸종 위기 동물 보호 캠페인 사례 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the cases of endangered species protection campaigns of domestic and foreign enterprises and to present improvement points and direction. Therefore, this study analyzed the cases and characteristics of the campaign by setting above small and medium sized domestic and foreign companies as subjects for research. The study found that there were mainly campaigns conducted in cooperation with large environmental organizations in Korea, and as an IT powerhouse, there were examples of such campaigns. Foreign companies independently participated in environmental protection, and cases of fashion and cosmetic brand campaigns were easily found. Based on these characteristics, this study aims to present improvements and directions for animal protection campaigns in the future.

A Study on Relation of between Focusing Manner and Clinical Competence in Nursing Students (간호대학생의 포커싱적 태도와 임상수행능력과의 상관성 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to the relation between the focusing manner and clinical competence and to determine the effect of the focusing manner on clinical competence. In December 2018, data were collected from 189 university students in the nursing department and analyzed using a multiple regression. As a result, major satisfaction and focusing manner of nursing university students were identified as major factors influencing clinical competence. In particular, 'expressing', a sub-factor of the focusing manner, had a significant effect on the sub-factors of clinical competence ability, 'nursing process, nursing skill, teaching and cooperation, interpersonal relationships and communication, and professional development', and explanatory power was 15.7%~19.9%. Therefore, during the undergraduate course, it is suggested that university students in the nursing department actively develop teaching-learning methods along with the development of a program to improve 'the ability to express appropriately for the situation'.

A Cooperative Energy-efficient Scheduling Scheme for Heterogeneous Wireless Networks (이기종 무선망에서 에너지 효율 개선을 위한 망간 협력 기반 스케쥴링 기법)

  • Wireless networks have evolved to the appearance of heterogeneous wireless networks(HetNet), where various networks provide data services with various data rates and coverage. One of technical issues for HetNet is efficient utilization of radio resources for system performance enhancement. For the next generation wireless networks, energy saving has become one of key performance indices, so energy-efficient resource management schemes for HetNet need to be developed. This paper addresses an energy-efficient scheduling for HetNet in order to improve the energy efficiency while maintaining similar system throughput as existing scheme, for which an energy-efficient scheduling that energy efficiency factor is included. Simulation results show that the proposed scheme achieves the reduction of energy consumption while admitting limited ragne of throughput degradation in comparison with the conventional proportional fair scheduling.

An Artificial Intelligence Evaluation on FSM-Based Game NPC (FSM 기반의 게임 NPC 인공 지능 평가)

  • NPC in game is an important factor to increase the fun of the game by cooperating with player or confrontation with player. NPC's behavior patterns in the previous games are limited. Also, there is not much difference in NPC's ability among the existing games because it's designed to FSM. Therefore, players who have matched with NPCs which have the characteristics may have difficulty to play. This paper is for improving the problem and production and evaluation of the game NPC behavior model based on wolves hunting model in real life. To achieve it, first, the research surveys and studies behavior states for wolves to capture prey in the real world. Secondly, it is implemented using the Unity3D engine. Third, this paper compares the implemented state transition probability to state transition probability in real world, state transition probability in general game. The comparison shows that the number of state transitions of NPCs increases, proportions of implemented NPC behavior patterns converges to probabilities of state transition in real-world. This means that the aggressive behavior pattern of NPC implemented is similar to the wolf hunting behavior pattern of the real world, and it can thereby provide more player experience.

Development of a Tiled Display Framework for Supporting Mixed-Focus Collaboration (혼합형 협업을 지원하는 타일드 디스플레이 프레임워크 기술 개발)

  • Most tiled display systems supported a public workspace model where multiple users share the contents and work together on a large public screen. In this research, we developed ICE Display Framework, designed for supporting easy construction of tiled display applications allowing mixed-focus collaboration. Mixed-focus collaboration is a model that allows a number of users to work together as a group or individually on the large workspace. ICE Framework allows users to add personal contents on the tiled display without interrupting other users as well as to put shared works. In this paper, we compare ICE framework with previous research and explain the detail implementation. Then, we introduce the applications built with this framework and discuss the evaluation and analysis of the performance of the new framework.

북극항로 운항 선박의 항해안전지원시스템(KARS) 개발 개요

  • 지구 온난화로 인해 여름철 북극해의 해빙이 점차 감소함에 따라서 북극항로를 이용한 선박의 화물운송이 점차 증가하고 있다. IMO에서는 극지해역운항선박의 안전성과 해양오염방지를 위하여 2014년에 Polar Code를 개정하였으며, 2017년 1월부터 SOLAS협약과 MARPOL73/78협약에 추가되어 시행되고 있다. 본 연구는 해양수산부 해양안전 및 해양교통시설기술개발 사업으로 1) Polar Code 강제화에 따라 '극지해역 운항선박용 항해안전지원시스템의 개발'의 필요성과 2) 북극항로에 대한 국적선의 안전 운항 확보를 위한 '북극권 국가와의 국제협력 및 공조체계 구축'과 '극지 구난, 구조 및 환경보호 관련 국내법 및 규정 제정'을 위한 기반 연구의 필요성에 의거하여 2014년 11월 10일에 시작되었으며 2018년 12월 31일에 종료될 예정이다. 연구내용은 1) 고정밀도 북극항로 빙상정보 수치예측 시스템 개발, 2) 북극항로 안전속도 예측, 평가, DB구축 및 항행 모델 개발, 3) 북극항로 안전운항을 위한 항해계획 기술 개발, 4) 북극항로 운항선박 건조 및 안전항해 가이드라인 개발이다. 본 논문에서는 개발 중인 KRISO Arctic safe Routing System (KARS)에 대한 소개와 활용 결과 및 향후 계획에 대해서 설명하고자 한다. 본 KARS는 향후 지속적인 수정보완 작업을 통해서 완성도를 높여갈 예정이며, 검증단계를 거쳐서 최적하고 안전한 항로와 운항 관련 정보를 선사와 해기사에게 제공함으로서 북극항로 중 단기 운항계획 수립과 안전 운항을 지원할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

  • Systematic modeling methods. which can correctly represent user requirements, are absolutely required to extract components when developing components. But, components are designed and developed In general based on the concept of object modeling so that they lacks in supporting representing cooperation and interaction as well as reuse. It means extracting components is not easy to be applied to complicated and sophisticated large-scale systems. This paper utilizes a role modeling method based on the role of objects, not on objects themselves, to complement object modeling. The Role modeling can break down a complicated system into simple models through abstracting the pattern of objects based on roles of the objects. In this study, an UML-based method extracting components through role modeling is embodied. UML can represent models from various standpoints so that role models arc also viewed from several points of view.

  • An object-oriented system is organized by a set of interacting objects and the system behavior is represented by the cooperating interaction bet ween objects. The characteristics of object-oriented software. such as inheritance and polymorphism, increase the difficulty of the object-oriented software testing. At running time of a program, one call from a member function can bind to other member functions because of the dynamic characteristics such as concurrence, dynamic binding and interaction. Therefore, there need the research about considering the characteristics of object-oriented software and concurrently testing the interaction between objects. In this paper, we propose the techniques as follows. First, we construct a flattened state chart diagram by considering the inheritance and polymorphism. Next, we model the system with CPN(Colored Petri Net) that usually is applying the system modeling and simulation. Last, we propose a test case generation techniques for testing the interaction between objects in object-oriented software by applying a Design/CPN tool.

Performance Analysis of Cooperative Network Error Correcting Scheme Using Distributed Turbo Code and Power Allocation (양방향 중계 채널에서 네트워크 코딩을 이용한 분산 터보 부호 기법과 전력 할당의 성능 분석)

  • A two-way relay channel is a bidirectional cooperative communication channel between two nodes using a relay. In many cooperative communication schemes, a relay transmits its data to each node using separate channels. However, in the two-way relay channel, a relay can broadcast the network-coded signal to both nodes in a same time slot, which can increase the system throughput. In this paper, a new cooperative network error correcting scheme using distributed turbo code in a two-way relay channel is proposed. The proposed scheme not only increases the system throughput using network code but also improves the performance by utilizing the LLR information from relay node and other user node through distributed turbo code. Also, a power allocation scheme is investigated for various channel conditions to improve the system performance.

  • Recent popularity of the smartphone market, with the explosive growth of mobile location-based SNS(Social Network Service), is into the mainstream. SNS aims to cooperate and share information with all users, but mobile SNS is still not easy people with disabilities. In addition to using the Web, it has difficulty to provide an appropriate interface to access such as smartphone for people with disabilities. This paper will specify and analyze the context-awareness technology and SNS function, and study a variety of information that students with disabilities such as time, location and activity states including data collection and analysis of the situation by converting the status information. It has provide that students with disabilities to lead comfortable life in school according to the various types of disabilities, and school information and safety services using mobile location-based SNS.
