Due to the continuing technical progress in the capabilities of modeling, simulation, and sensor devices, huge volume data with very high resolution are common. In scientific visualization, various interactive real-time techniques on high performance parallel computers to effectively render such large scale volume data sets have been proposed. In this paper, we present a mobile volume visualization system that consists of mobile clients, gateways, and parallel rendering servers. The mobile clients allow to explore the regions of interests adaptively in higher resolution level as well as specify rendering / viewing parameters interactively which are sent to parallel rendering server. The gateways play a role in managing requests / responses between mobile clients and parallel rendering servers for stable services. The parallel rendering servers visualize the specified sub-volume with rendering contexts from clients and then transfer the high quality final images back. This proposed system lets multi-users with PDA simultaneously share commonly interesting parts of huge volume, rendering contexts, and final images through CSCW(Computer Supported Cooperative Work) mode.

현재의 소프트웨어들은 그 요구사항이 늘어나고 규모 역시 커져서 여러 사람이 팀을 이루어 개발하는 것이 일반적이다. 이런 개발과정에서 서로 다른 개발자가 구현한 코드를 통합하는 것은 무척 어려운 일이며 이렇게 구현한 소프트웨어에 대한 명세를 작성하거나 분석하는 것 또한 많은 노력을 필요로 한다. 특히 ERP 어플리케이션과 같이 많은 수의 개발자들이 분산 환경에서 협력 작업을 통하여 프로그램을 개발하는 경우에 있어서는 개발자 상호간의 의견교환과 정보 공유는 물론, 서로 다른 개발자가 자신이 필요로 하는 코드를 찾아내고 분석하여 통합하는 일은 필수적이면서도 많은 시간과 노력을 요구한다. 따라서 견고한 어플리케이션을 위해서는 개발 도구가 이러한 요구사항들을 충분히 반영하여야 한다. 본 논문에서는 컴포넌트 기술을 이용한 ERP 패키지 시스템인 SEA+의 개발 도구에 포함되어 있는, 분산 협력 개발시 요구되는 이와 같은 사항을 반영하여 설계 개발한 순차 다이어그램 편집기에 대하여 설명한다.

멀티 에이전트 기술은 다양한 환경변화와 복잡한 문제 능에 보다 빠르고 유연하게 대처하기 위한 새로운 패러다임으로 부각되고 있다. 따라서 많은 분야에서 동적인 문제를 해결하기 위해 멀티 에이전트 시스템 구축하고자 연구가 진행중이다. 그러나, 기존의 멀티 에이전트 시스템을 개발하기 위한 Framework에 관한 연구들은 사용자를 대신하여 자율적으로 작업을 수행하는 일반적인 에이전트간의 정보 교환과 공유, 에이전트의 재활용, 이형질의 에이전트를 통합하기 위해 서로 각기 다른 에이전트간 사업 협력 구조를 제시하는 연구, 즉 멀티 에이전트가 가지는 기본적인 기능만을 제시한 Framework가 대부분이었다. 이러한 기존 멀티 에이전트 Framework의 한계점을 해결하고자 최형림 외 5명은 기본적인 멀티 에이전트 Framework의 기능뿐만 아니라 협상이라는 문제를 해결하기 위해 필요한 기능을 가지고 있는 MAFNS(Multi-Agent Framework for Negotiation Systems)를 설계하였다. 본 연구에서는 MAFNS의 구조를 이용하여 협상 메시지에 대한 평가, 협상 메시지의 관리, 협상 에이전트간의 빠르고 안정된 메시지 교환 지원 등과 같은 협상에 필요한 필수적인 요구 기능을 에이전트로 개발하고 각 에이전트 간의 유기적인 협력을 통해 자동으로 서버 판매 협상 문제를 해결할 수 있는 에이전트 시스템을 개발하였다.

Overseas Urban Development is even risky although it is desirable for market-seeking developed countries and developing countries facing urbanization problems. Both sides do not know each other well so that they cannot trust each other to work on this risky projects. This study constructs a frame, which is enhancing trust between developed and developing countries. The first step is to start from small collaborations than a huge project. At the charismatic position, a enterprise from developed country proceeds its first work with its most advanced skills, cooperating with developing countries. By localization with executing projects smaller and easier than urban development project, like constructing facility or buildings, this enterprise can get closer to native elites and get to be supported from native people. And then, they can start huge urban development project. The study begins with trust theory, adding case studies contributing to constructing Cooperative Overseas Urban Development Frame. Five cases were studied and applied by the international urban development framework.

PPC stands for the percentage of weekly assignments completed. It makes it possible to improve the performance of production planning and control systems. Recently, the cases of PPC application have been increasing because PPC is easy to apply to construction site. However, to evaluate the average of PPC or analyze PPC as time passes has some problem ; if PPC is the same, the average it is evaluated equally although there are variabilities in production system. Therefore, In order to evaluate the character of PPC in process of production this paper suggests the method of the evaluating PPC by using coefficient of variability besides PPC measurement.

In autonomous car, significant progress has been achieved in technical aspects, but it is deadly slow to solve its various legal problems for commercialization of autonomous car. This paper surveys the road driving eligibility, a typical legal issue in autonomous car. Problems on current laws and regulations are analyzed, and some remedies are suggested. Technical development should be performed collaboratively with law and regulation revision, and understanding these legal issues would be very helpful to the engineers who develop autonomous cars.

자동차공업의 미래를 점치는 전문가들은 1980 후반에서 1990년대에 제 4세대의 자동차공업의 핵심은 한국, 멕시코, 브라질을 중심으로 한 저생산요소 요인이 있는 국가에서 생산이 중점적으로 된다는 전망과 유동제조시스템(FMS)을 활용한 지역적으로 안분된 생산체제로 새로운 형태의 경쟁협력 관계가 발생하리라는 예측이 엇갈린다. 유동제조시스템에서 주요역할을 하는 부분은 생산순서를 결정하는 이론인데 현재의 저산기의 논리는 인간의 두뇌에 비교하면 아직 매우 단 순하고 원시적인 편이다. 현재 많은 노력이 경주되는 인공두뇌(artifical intellegence: Al)에 관한 연구에 많은 진전이 있다고 하더라도 당분간은 인간의 두뇌가 기계의 지능보다 월등한 부문이 있는 반면 인간이 활동하기 불편한 작업환경이 있다든가 단순 작업이 되어 인간에 지루함을 주는 일들이 있어 인간과 기계의 적절한 배분으로 적극 기계를 이용하는 자동화도 필요하지만 동시에 인간의 창의적인 능력을 활용하는 것도 매우 필요하다. 우리나라에서 자동차공업이 국제적으로 발전한다면 이는 한국적인 여건에 부합하는 창의적인 인간활동에 의한 것이지 값싼 노임 때문 만은 아닐 것이다.

This article aims to introduce a representative case of convergence among art, technology and science, and look into the factors that contributed to its success. The focus is specifically brought to the cooperation between the Plantin Press and local painters in Antwerp in the Netherlands during the 16th century. The Plantin Press scored huge successes through collaboration with Flemish artists such as Rubens and Borcht. This helped the artists to use their talents in a new medium or to secure a job that appreciates their values. The Plantin Press outdid its competitors in the market through applying new techniques on its works. Great botany books also came out as a result of such convergence. The backdrop to the Netherlands appearing as the center of botanical studies in the 17th century is the concerted efforts of the painters that created quality illustrations and the publishers that knew how to use them efficiently.

국제 표준화 기구인 ITU, ISO/IEC JTC1을 비롯해 지역 표준화 기구인 ETSI, 국가 기구인 Committee T1, TTA 등은 표준의 신속한 제정 및 적기의 공급을 위해 각각의 표준화 절차에 기반한 전자적 문서처리(EDH)시스템을 구축하고, 이를 통해 표준화 진행에 관련된 각종 정보를 효율적으로 처리할 수 있는 전자적 환경을 구축하는데 많은 노력을 기울이고 있다. 본 고에서는 유럽의 ETSI, 미국의 Committee T1, 국제 기구인 JTC1, 지역 표준화 협력기구인 GSC, 그리고 지난해 7월 조직 개편을 단행한 한국정보통신기술협회(TTA)를 대상으로 최근 인터넷 관련 각종 정보처리기술을 이용하여, 이를 표준화 절차에 활용하고 있는 전자적 작업방법 및 이와 관련된 지침을 조사분석하였다.

정보보호관리 표준은 ISO/IEC JTC1/SC27 WG1에서 주도적으로 진행하고 있으며, ITU-T SG17 Q.3에서는 SC27과의 긴밀한 협력 관계를 유지하면서 정보통신조직에 특화된 정보보호관리 표준에 치중하고 있다. 현재 제정된 정보보호관리 국제표준으로는 정보보호관리체계에 관한 요구사항 (27001) 및 통제표준 (27002)과 이와 관련된 지침 성격 표준들이 상당 부분 국제표준으로 발표되었다. 최근에는 기 발표된 국제표준에 대한 개정 작업과 정보통신조직, 금융조직 등 특정 산업이나 정보보호 거버넌스 등 특정 이슈에 해당되는 정보보호관리 표준 제정 작업이 한창 진행 중에 있다. 인터넷의 확산과 정보화의 역기능 증가에 따라 능동적인 정보보호관리체계의 수립을 위하여, 국내에서도 정보보호관리 표준의 제정 과정에 적극적으로 참여할 뿐 아니라 국내 많은 조직에서 정보보호관리 표준이 적용되어 전반적인 정보보호관리 수준이 향상 될 수 있도록 할 필요가 있다.
