Recently, the proliferation of new applications, e.g., mobile TV, Internet gaming, large file transfer, and the various of user terminals, e.g., smart phones and notebooks, has dramatically increased user traffic and network load. In order to meet this traffic growth, vendors and cellular operators are working on the development of new technologies and cellular standards. Within them, small cell deployment has been heralded as one of most promising way to increase both coverage and capacity of future cellular network. Small cell technology enables to improve capacity of cellular radio network by tight cooperation between small cell and macro cell in multi-tier network where small cells are densely deployed within macro cell coverage. In this paper, we describe the deployment scenarios for cooperation between macro cell and small cells and state-of-the-art technologies related to dense small cell deployment. Then, we also provide design principles and standardization trends for small cell enhancement in 3GPP.

Recently, there is an increasing interest in game based learning as a teaching method for digital native learners. This study set kinect game contributes to engaged learning as the competition and cooperation play (achievement goals, interaction), the digital game play (multisensory stimulation, fantasy and curiosity, chance, accurate feedback, control), and the body movement play (embodied cognition, presence). After performing classes using the motion recognition game developed for the elementary school history class, this study conducted semi structured interviews based on engaged learning elements of kinect game based learning for students who were successfully participating in learning. In the result, each element appeared to a successful learner. Based on these results, this study hopes to assist researchers as a basic evidence to introduce kinect game-based learning for engaged learning.
In order to effectively promote a smart city, various urban information must be opened and linked, and the information system that each member can share is required. In addition, it is necessary to establish a cooperative system in which citizens and citizen's organizations can participate. In this study, the components and conceptual model of a smart city platform were proposed to create a smart city that enables citizen participation. Its components include sensors for collecting data from the real world, information storage and management, information sharing and standard system, citizens' personal information protection and management system, utilization and service, etc. For the conceptual model, roles of smart city members were defined, so that citizen-centered participation and services could be made. It also includes data collection, information linkage and sharing, and service configuration system. Citizens can perform various roles such as data collector and provider, service planner or requestor, service beneficiary, etc. Ultimately, free communication and exchange of opinions with citizens is a key factor in the success of smart cities.
This study sought to explore the enhancement of the introduction of teaching and learning methods for Problem Based Learning (PBL) and the evaluation factors to evaluate them effectively through an understanding lecture in Cultural Content Planning. It was intended to incorporate a practical zero-volume education methodology of problem-oriented learning and sufficient leading learning to reflect storytelling in the entire process of completing a cultural content with culture, cultural content, and content planning. To this end, the role of teaching methods should be faithful to ensure that teamwork and cooperation can be done organically according to the educational field, practice and situation. Students who take classes were asked to meet demand, reflect it through surveys, apply real-world problems, and acquire the entire course. Learners had to cooperate with each other until planning cultural content and completing the results through classes, and they evaluated themselves and colleagues in teamwork until the last result was completed from creative ideas. The results were shared together and the students were able to investigate the necessary PBL evaluation factors for themselves, and the prior research and survey on the method of PBL evaluation was conducted to derive the factors of understanding of cultural content planning. The derived assessment elements were able to identify priorities between the assessment elements using basic statistics, word cloud analysis, and AHP analysis. The components of the assessment derived were communication skills, basic knowledge, reasoning process, expertise, and evaluation techniques. Through this article, I was able to lead the understanding of cultural content planning to problem-oriented learning classes and encourage students to be familiar and smooth.

The geography, circulation pattern, and ecology show that the semi-closed seas of Northwest Pacific be managed as one complete system. Ongoing multilateral cooperative efforts relevant to marine environmental protection in the Northwest Pacific area, include the Working Group for the Western Pacific (WESTPAC) established under the auspices of WNESCO's Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commissions, the UNDP/GEF Programme on Prevention and Management of Marine Pollution in East Asian Seas (PEMSEA), the North Pacific Marine Science Organization(PICES), and the United Nations Environment Programme(WNEP)'s Northwest Pacific Action Plan(NOWPAP). The present report firstly describes the current situations on the existing regional cooperative regimes for marine environmental conservation in the Northwest Pacific region, with a special respect to the Northwest Pacific Action Plan(NOWPAP) which was adopted in 1994 by Japan, People's Republic of China, Republic of Korea and Russian Federation. Then, problems of the existing regimes are also discussed, together with the suggestion of the possible solutions, focusing on NOWPAP. Suggestions include: 1) the Northeast Asian countries should understand the importance of legally-binding regional convention, and should build up any legally-binding instrument which can function as a big umbrella for real regional cooperation without prejudice to the rights of the States, 2) At present stage, it will be possible to make a regional convention flexible without prejudice to the sovereign right of the States or territorial issues; 3) taking into account that the region often faces many generic political problems that often inhibit the effective collective actions on environmental issues, the leadership from UNEP or other international organizations is required; 4) strong institutional and financial framework should be made, and 5) multilateral efforts to respond to the new marine environmental threats should be taken at the regional level in order to protect the coastal and marine environments in the Northwest Pacific.
It has been known that health industry clusters promote economy of a nation in a macro view and make growth and development of individual firm. As a result, Korean health industry has been grown to play a role of making a high value added in Kwangkyo, Daedeok, Wonju, and Songdo. Using 156 firms locating in health industry clusters such as Kwangkyo, Daedeok, Wonju, and Songdo in increasing value added, this study investigated the structural relationships among R&D resources, R&D collaboration, policy support, and operational performance. All hypotheses, except a hypothesis for the effect R&D resources on operational performance, are reported to be statistically significant. In other words, the positive effect of R&D resources on policy support is reported. And policy support and R&D collaboration positively affect operational performance, and also the positive effect of policy support on R&D collaboration is reported. From the empirical results, we can know that policy support and R&D collaboration are the crucial factors to promote operational performance of the firms locating in Korean health industry clusters. It is important that this study has been investigated with the firms of health industry developing economy of a nation.

This was an investigative study to identify the role expectations for clinical research related tasks that ward nurses can participate in and the awareness of cooperation between ward nurses and clinical research nurses (CRNs) and the obstacles for the same. The subjects were 66 ward nurses and 65 CRNs. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, the two-sample t-test, and the 𝑥2 test on SAS 9.3. As a result of this study, 4.56±0.41 ward nurses and 3.83±0.60 CRNs were found to have high role expectations of each other and statistically significant role expectations for ward nurses (p<.001). Significant differences were seen in the five categories of cooperation recognition between the two groups. Among the factors for cooperative disabilities, excessive work and lack of awareness of clinical research were ranked high. High role expectation becomes an element of role conflict. To organize the role of ward nurses and clinical research nurses in the new clinical research nursing work, procedures, establishing of effective practices, and the proper operation of an official system are expected to be necessary. To promote cooperation between the two groups, a culture of mutual trust and cooperation should be formed to enable each group to think of the other as partners and to recognize their expertise.
Smart is becoming a social fever since Apple had invented iPhone. It looks old fashioned, if the word Smart is missed in TV, phone even white electronic goods. Korean's major firms made a slogan Smart Work as an important business strategy and tried to implement some activities. These Smart trends influenced the way people's working and organization. In this research, we explore the key factors related to smart work and empirically test the significance of antecedent variables such as Dynamics, Collaborativeness, Connectivity in determining the smartwork level. The statistical result, based upon survey responses, shows that organizational dynamics, organizational collaborativeness and process collaborativeness are the most salient factors for smarkwork level. As a conclusion, the academic and practical implications of these findings are also discussed.
