Design of Classroom Framework for u-Learning on Ubiquitous Environment (유비쿼터스 환경에서 u-러닝을 위한 교실 프레임워크 설계)

  • In the near future, we can access information which we want, whenever we want, wherever we use. Because almost devices in ubiquitous environment are connected by either wired or wireless network. Especially, u-Learning emphasizing on pedagogical property is enable to improve learning abilities. As researches of the previous u-Learning. there have been learning by mobile devices such like PDAs as well as the smart classroom, which makes the remote students participate in the existing class. However, these researches have not satisfied pedagogical, cooperative and ubiquitous properties yet. Thus we suggest the framework for both local and mobile classroom, which can make the properties easy to satisfy.

  • What difference does the metaverse experience have from the real world? This study investigated the effect of space size and dialogue topic on metaverse user experience. The results from a 3(space size: reality vs. metaverse in an open room vs. metaverse in a closed room) x 2(dialogue topic: positive vs. negative) mixed factorial design experiment (N = 75) revealed statistically significant effects of space on responsiveness, and dialogue topic on closeness. This result implies that designing metaverse for non-immersive devices should include careful considerations regarding the characteristics of the user's real space.

  • 본 논문에서는 동적 추천 기능이 있는 자바 기반 음악 추천 서버를 소개한다. 본 논문에서 소개하는 추천 서버는 각 음악 사이의 유사도를 그래프로 저장하는 그래프 기반 협동적 여과 방식을 사용하며, 독립된 서버로 구성되어 클라이언트와 정해진 프로토콜에 따라 통신하도록 구현되었다. 또한 이 추천 서버는 특정 사용자나 특정 음악의 정적인(static) 성향뿐 아니라 시간에 따라 달라지는 동적인(dynamic) 성향에 맞는 추천도 가능하도록 설계되었다. 정적 성향이란 어떤 사용자가 가지고 있는 음악에 대한 기본적인 취향을 나타내고, 동적 성향이란 특정한 상황이나 분위기에 따라 유동적으로 변하는 성향을 의미한다. 본 논문에서 소개하는 추천 서버는 정적 성향과 동적 성향에 대하여 각각 추천할 수 있는 기능을 가지고 있으며, 이러한 기능을 바탕으로 실제 사용자들의 음악 다운로드 데이터를 이용하여 추천 데모 사이트를 구축하였다.

A Cooperative Workflow Modeling Methodology Using Fragment-ICNs (조각-ICN 기반 협업 워크플로우 모델링 방법론)

  • A workflow procedure has recently become more complicated and large scaled. In this paper, we propose an advanced workflow modeling methodology, called a fragment driven cooperative workflow modeling methodology. which enables several real workflow designers to cooperatively define a workflow model. The methodology is a Bottom-Up approach in terms of integrating a set of fragment ICNs to compose a complete workflow model. Each fragment ICN is defined by each participant in the cooperative modeling session, We also use the ICN based formal description and the ICN based graphical notation as well. Finally, we prove the feasibility of the methodology by implementing a cooperative workflow modeling system.

  • For teaching-learning activities to be effective, the teaching methods need to reflect the contents of instructional materials and the characteristics of the learners. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the effective ways of teaching computer programming languages. The main components of teaching computer programming languages might be the characteristics of the language itself, the function of design, and general problem-solving capacity. But the analysis of the Quality and environments of learners is much more important. To improve the Quality of teaching computer programming languages, the structured syllabus needs to be provided and a variety of teaching methods such as project-based approach, problem-based approach, cooperative learning, peer tutoring and case study should be applied selectively, depending upon the instructional situations. In addition, procedural and constructive evaluation process needs to be developed to monitor each stage of learning and to give the guidelines of completing the course projects.

  • Research and development projects, in the past decade, has shown that object-oriented(OO) technology could importantly contribute in productivity and reusability improvement. There are various research areas related to OO technology. Two of major research fields in this areas are concerned in issues for CASE tools and component-based technologies. This paper discusses an example of applying component-based technology to a CASE tool. This paper proposes the research experience gained while we have incrementally developing OODesigner, an OO CASE tool, with compound document support functionality based on COM/OLE technology. As OODesigner with OLE container functionality has interoperability with other application programs of Windows system which can be run as a OLE server, it can provide more powerful documentation environment than other CASE tools. OODesigner can be used not only to design UML diagrams, but also to make documentation cooperatively with various kinds of OLE- enabled software like Recoder and Excel. Therefore we can conduct powerful and consistent documentation with the tool.

  • Since the advent of object-oriented(OO) technology, research and development projects have fumed out that OO technology could importantly contribute in productivity and reusability improvement.   • With the fast development of Internet environment, e-Commerce is rapidly increasing. n the expanding e-Commerce environment, the need for a new e-Commerce systems what will deliver products to the customer rapidly and increase sales is growing bigger. Recently, these requirements brought many researches on recommender systems. However, until now, those recommender systems have a limit because it takes too much time for recommender systems to give customers the recommendations in real time, if the number of purchase data of customers is large. So this paper concerns on the recommender systems using collaborative filtering as one of the solutions to increase the competitive power. We proposed and experimented the more improved recommender systems which could decrease the data size to shorten the recommending time by using the representative category of the product which customers want to buy. Also, we design and implement a recommender system using Enterprise JavaBeans.

  • 개요- 반도체 시장의 확대 및 소자의 고집적화와 장비의 초정밀화 등 고정도 생산성을 요구하는 현대 진공산업 시장에서는 정밀한 제품을 대량으로 생산할 수 있도록 지원할 수 있는 대용량 장비의 수요가 급증하고 있다. 서론- 하루가 다르게 발전하는 기술 경쟁 사회에서는 보다 성능이 좋은 제품을 다른 국가 또는 다른 업체와 차별화된 기술적 우위를 선점해야 한다. 본문-이에따라, 고신뢰도, 고생산성이 요구되는 진공산업 시장에 발맞추기 위한 일환으로 크라이오 펌프의 재생시간을 단축시켜 생산성 향상을 높이고, 기존의 제품에서 소비자가 느꼈던 진동을 최소로 줄일 수 있도록 저진동 제품의 설계를 통한 고객 만족의 제품을 개발함과 동시에, 맥동관 냉동기의 기술상업화를 꾀한 극저온기술 영역의 발전을 함께 도모하고자 한다. 현재까지는 국내의 일부 정부출연 연구소와 학교, 일부 특수산업 분야에서만 크라이오 펌프를 사용하고 있으나, 상업적인 설계 및 생산은 완전히 전무한 상태이다. 이는 진공시장의 잠재적인 성장을 고려할 때 국산화가 시급한 상황이다. 이러한, 상황을 고려하여 현재 기계연구원과 우성진공, 국민대학교가 맥동관 냉동기를 접목시킨 급속재생형 저진동 크라이오 펌프를 지난 2008년부터 산학연 협동으로 개발 진행 중에 있다. 크라이오 펌프의 핵심 기술은 냉동기의 효율에 있다고 볼 수 있으며, 이러한 냉동기의 효과를 높이기 위하여, 제작 공정에 진공 브레이징을 사용하여, 열교환기와 교환기 내의 충진재들과의 정확한 간극을 유지하면서 접합을 할 수 있는 환경요건을 지속적인 실험을 통해 지식을 습득하고 있다. 진공 브레이징은 외관을 아름답고 정교하게 접합할 수 있으므로, 추후 상품으로의 가치를 높일 수 있으며, 서로 다른 이종금속 간의 접합이 가능하여 열교환기의 무산소동과 스테인레스 튜브와의 접합을 가능하게 할 수 있었다. 진공브레이징에 쓰이는 모재는 여러가지가 있으며, 접합의 환경 또한 일반 용접보다 다양하므로 여러번의 실험을 통한다면, 성능은 우수하면서 외관으로 손색이 없는 개발품이 나올수 있겠다는 의견이 모아지고 있는 중이다. 본론- 아직까지는 미국의 CTI사나 일본의 ULVAC 등의 크라이오 펌프의 선진 기업에 비해 기술력이 많이 부족하기는 하지만, 아직 많은 부분이 미개발된 분야이고, 향후 후발국과의 차별을 두어 선진기술을 확보하기 위해서는 기존의 방식을 단순히 따라하는 것이 아닌 남들과 다른 원천기술의 확보가 더 필요하며, 이를 위해 부단한 노력과 시행착오를 거쳐 맥동관 냉동기형 크라이오 펌프라는 기술을 확보할 예정이다.

  • Teaching and learning through games which arouses interest in learning not only lessens a burden of a learner but also labors for Academic Achievement. and for the sake of enhancing convergence of thinking and problem solving abilities as well as raising interest and understanding in science and technology, Steam teaching which is mainly made of research and experimental activities is emphasized on. This paper which makes use of crayon physics has developed Steam program it was mainly applied to science for the first year of junior high school [strength and motion] which for learners of each team is made of four steps eight time in total. At each step learners can understand principle of strength and motion, especially at the step of finding principle of science through games can personally solve the game in cooperation with the leaners of a team and find principle of strength and motion which is to be applied to solving the game. By personally designing and making new games learners can enhance the ability of convergence of thinking. It is expected that the program developed in this paper can enhance imaginativeness of thinking and interest in science which lead to affirmative changes.
