신뢰도 분석 방법을 이용한 사용후핵연료 중간저장시설 냉각계통의 최적설계에 관한 연구

  • 신뢰도 분석 방법을 이용하여 습식 사용후핵연료 중간저장시설의 냉각계통에 대한 최적 설계조건을 도출하기 위한 연구를 수행하였다. 먼저 고장수목 분석을 통한 설계 취약점을 평가하여 21개의 설계대안을 도출하였고, 최종적으로 설계대안에 대한 건설비 용, 계통신뢰도 분석 및 확률론적 안전기준을 고려한 비용효과 분석을 실시하였다. 설계 대안들 중에서 100% 루프 다중설계, 루프당 한 개의 펌프 사용, 안전등급 부여 및 주 루프에서 정화계통이 분리된 경우가 최적설계안으로 나타났다. 여기서 적용된 방법론은 유사시설의 최적설계에 유용하게 응용될 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

  • 가상임펙터(virtual impactor)는 충돌판을 가지고 있는 관성임팩터(inertial impactor)와는 다르게 분리입경보다 큰 입자를 분리할 수 있는 부 유동과 분리입경보다 작은 입자를 분리할 수 있는 주 유동으로 나누어져서 입자의 튀김(bouncing)이나 재비산(reentrainment) 없이 입자를 분리 또는 농축할 수 있다. 하지만 관성임팩터처럼 여러 단을 연결하여 작은 입자를 분리할 수 없기 때문에 주로 큰 입자의 분리 및 농축에 쓰여왔다. (중략)

  • The suspension insulators are subjected to harsh environment in service for a long time. Long term reliability of the insulators is required for both mechanical and electrical performances. We studied an analysing method to find out a deformation of brittle porcelain with a thermal expansion of simulation analysis and experimental results show that cement volume growths affect severely to be mechanical failure ageing.

  • The number of construction of roads and railroads in soft ground such as coastal areas and wetlands is getting increased. For this reason cases that soft ground improvement is applied are increasing. In general, many ground improvement methods consider only the working conditions at the time or only economy. But if the working condition and economy are taken into consideration together, the number of applicable construction method gets limited. In such a case, a ground improvement method using both the surface layer portion and the deep layer portion is applied. But the basic research on this is still insufficient in practice. Therefore, in this study the reinforcement effect of geogrid was investigated by carrying out the model test realizing the case in which soft surface ground improvement and depth improvement are simultaneously applied. And it was intened to understand the effect of the thickness of surface layer, the diameter and length of the improvement body on the reinforcement effect of geogrid. The result showed that the effect of the surface layer thickness is greater than the effect of the deep layer diameter. Moreover, when the surface layer is reinforced with a geogrid, the strength of the surface layer part is enhanced and this effect of a geogrid reinforcement caused the reduction of surface settlement.

  • Bacterial blight(BB) caused by Xanthomonas oryzae pv. oryzae(Xoo) is one of the most economically destructive bacterial diseases of rice in worldwide. Utilization of resistant cultivars carrying resistant gene(s) is relatively an effect method to control this disease. About 34 resistant genes for BB resistance have been identified in many countries. Among them, Xa1 and Xa3 genes against bacterial blight have been incorporated into improved korean japonica rice varieties. Now, Ilmi carrying Xa1 gene and severial cultivars carrying Xa3 gene are widely grown in our country. In recent year, xa5, Xa21 and Xa23 genes are using in rice breeding programs for japonica resistant cultivars to bacterial blight. Resistant cultivars incorporated with a diverse single gene and two, three, or the more major gene necessite in the future.

Coherence Bandwidth and Coherence Time for the Communication Frame in the Underwater of East Sea (동해 천해환경에서 수중 통신 프레임 설계를 위한 상관 대역폭과 상관 시간의 산출)

  • For effective underwater digital communications, a frame structure is used, which includes pilots in time and frequency domains for channel estimation at a receiver. To estimate channel precisely, the each pilot should be located less than coherence time and coherence bandwidth. This paper measured underwater communication environments to provide coherence time and coherence bandwidth. Based on the measurement, the paper exhibits the calculated coherence time and coherent bandwidth is adequate by computer simulations.

  • The time reversal mirror (TRM) method for underwater communications has been developed to improve transmission performance with low complexity. However, digital communication parameters for TRM have not been researched deeply. This paper demonstrates that the TRM scheme obtains spatial diversity gain similar to multiple antennas, and proposes design methodologies of symbol interval, frame duration and transmission protocol for time reversal mirror transmission. Simulation results show that spatial diversity gain is achieved and the effect of ISI decreases as the number of transducer increases.

  • It is important to determine the communicational method that knows the characteristic of phase variation along transducers formed array within the water column in actual underwater environment and the correlation between transducers. This paper analyzes the characteristic of phase variation that vary on different locations by probe signals that transmitted from a probe source and received along transducers. This paper calculated the theoretical transmission capacities by the analyzation of the correlation between transducers through changing the distance between transducers and the distance between a probe source and transducers.

Analysis of Capacity for Bi-Directional Coding Applying Time Reversal Technique in Underwater Acoustic Channel (수중음향채널에서의 시역전 기법을 적용한 양방향 통신 방식의 용량 분석)

  • In this paper, we propose a bi-directional communication method applying time reversal technique in underwater acoustic channel in order to exchange data between sensor nodes with an available relay node. The proposed method reduces the conventional 4-step relaying procedure to 2-step and improves the system capacity. Moreover, it increases transmission range efficiently while the relay node can be implemented with low complexity. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed scheme achieves 3.2 bps/Hz higher capacity than that of the conventional method at SNR 20 dB.
