Stereo-video Synchronization for 3D Video Transmission (3차원 비디오 전송을 위한 스테레오비디오 동기화 방법)

  • In this paper, we propose a stereo-video transmission method for reduction of delay and maximization of 3D effect. Conventional multimedia synchronization algorithms were designed to achieve minimum delay and synchronize multiple video and audio streams, however, they could not be effective for 3D video transmission. In this paper, we proposed a synchronization algorithm by considering the minimum error of time difference between streams for 3D effect. The minimum error of time difference for 3D effect was derived based on a 3D subjective quality test. We compute display time of the delivered videos within the allowed time-difference and the video are displayed according to the display time. To evaluate the performance of the proposed algorithm, we implemented a real-time video communication system and subjective quality test has been conducted with the proposed system. We found that video quality displayed by the proposed system. We found that video quality displayed by the proposed algorithm ranks 'good' and 'excellent' in the DMOS (Differential Mean Opinion Score) scale, based on the MOS (Mean Opinion Score) test.

Authorship Attribution Framework Using Survival Network Concept : Semantic Features and Tolerances (서바이벌 네트워크 개념을 이용한 저자 식별 프레임워크: 의미론적 특징과 특징 허용 범위)

  • Malware Authorship Attribution is a research field for identifying malware by comparing the author characteristics of unknown malware with the characteristics of known malware authors. The authorship attribution method using binaries has the advantage that it is easy to collect and analyze targeted malicious codes, but the scope of using features is limited compared to the method using source code. This limitation has the disadvantage that accuracy decreases for a large number of authors. This study proposes a method of 'Defining semantic features from binaries' and 'Defining allowable ranges for redundant features using the concept of survival network' to complement the limitations in the identification of binary authors. The proposed method defines Opcode-based graph features from binary information, and defines the allowable range for selecting unique features for each author using the concept of a survival network. Through this, it was possible to define the feature definition and feature selection method for each author as a single technology, and through the experiment, it was confirmed that it was possible to derive the same level of accuracy as the source code-based analysis with an improvement of 5.0% accuracy compared to the previous study.

  • 본 논문에서는 위치인식 센서기반 무인이송차량(AGV)의 이동 제어 문제를 다루고자 한다. AGV의 진행 경로를 지시하는 랜드마크를 부착할 때 사각지역(dead zone) 및 중첩 지역(overlap zone)이 존재할 경우 위치 추정 오차가 허용 범위를 크게 벗어나게 되며, 이로 인해 AGV가 오동작하는 현상이 발생한다. 이를 해결하기 위해 본 논문에서는 단일 랜드마크 대신 이웃한 2개의 랜드마크 인식을 통해 위치 추정 오차를 보정하는 방안을 제안하였다. 또한, 회전 구간에서 AGV가 방향 전환 직후 지정된 경로에 허용오차 범위 이내로 진입하도록 안쪽 바퀴와 바깥쪽 바퀴의 가속도 제어 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 본 논문에서 개발된 시스템은 화장장 시신 운구용 AGV에 적용하였다. 화장장은 기존 산업 현장에 비해 이동 공간이 협소할 뿐만 아니라 그 특성상 정밀 제어가 필요한 환경이다. 본 논문에서 제안한 방식은 모의 차량에 적용하여 그 타당성을 검증하였으며, 실제 국내 화장장에 AGV 시스템을 적용한 결과 허용오차 범위 이내에서 정상 동작함을 확인하였다.

A Study on the Data Reduction Techniques for Small Scale Map Production (소축적 지도제작을 위한 데이터 감축 기법에 관한 연구)

  • This paper is concentrated on map generalization in digital environment for automated multi-scale map pro-duction using conventional hardcopy maps. Line generalization is urgently required process to prepare small scale digital map database when large scale map databases are available. This paper outlines a new approach to the line generalization when preparing small scale map on the basis of existing large scale distal map. Line generalizations are conducted based on zero-crossing algorithm using six sheets of 115,000 scale YEOSU area which produced by National Geographic Institute. The results are compared to Douglas-Peucker algorithm and manual method. The study gives full details of the data reduction rates and alternatives based on the proposed algorithm.

  • 과학기술위성3호의 주탑재체 Multi-purpose Infra-Red Imaging System(MIRIS)는 한국천문연구원이 개발하고 있는 소형 적외선 우주망원경이다. MIRIS는 적외선 센서의 열잡음을 최소화시키기 위하여 망원경의 온도가 허용범위를 넘지 않도록 설계되었다. 특히 3K의 심우주를 향해 MIRIS의 복사열을 자연 방출하는 Passive cooling은 임무 성공에 영향을 미치는 매우 중요한 과정이다. 이를 검증하고자 NX 7.0(Space Systems Thermal, TMG 탑재)을 사용하여 열 해석을 수행하였다. 각 부품별로 물성과 열광학 특성을 적용하여 전도 및 복사를 통한 열전달 과정을 계산하였고, MIRIS의 궤도 특성을 고려하여 정상상태에서의 망원경 온도를 얻었다. 그 결과 Passive cooling을 통해 MIRIS 망원경이 허용범위 아래로 냉각되는 것을 확인하였다.

  • This article discusses the legal character and admissible scope of inspection and police questioning of a vessel with force in comparison with the systems of the US and Japan. The author focuses on the factual differences between vessels and cars which justifies the varying standard. A ship at sea may easily slip away and destroy evidence while authorities attempt to get a warrant. Thus, a warrantless boarding and safety inspection could be validated because of the exigent circumstances of the sea.

  • 이 연구에서는 온도에 민감한 식품을 대상으로 이들이 허용하는 저장 온도의 범위를 데이터베이스에 저장하고, 이들이 유통 중에 유지되는 온도를 측정하여 지정한 범위를 벗어나는지의 여부를 모니터링 하고자 한다. 이를 위해 식품 유통관리를 위한 온도와 위치에 대한 데이터를 RFID를 기반으로 하여 실시간에 수집하여, 허용하는 온도 범위를 벗어나면 경고 이벤트를 발생하는 프로토타입 센스 데이터처리 시스템을 개발한다. 이를 통해 유비쿼터스 환경에서의 센서데이터들의 효율적인 처리에 대한 기술을 축적하며, 향후에는 다양한 상황 데이터들을 필요에 맞게 정제하고 가공하는 기법을 개발하고자 한다.

A Study on the the Follow-up Analysis and the Characteristics of Exhaust Gas by Standard Mode of Chassis Dynamometer of Gasoline (가솔린 차량의 차대동력계 표준모드 별 추종성 분석 및 배출가스 특성에 관한 연구)

  • In this study, a gasoline test vehicle was evaluated for drive quality in emissions and fuel economy tests. The measurement results were compared with the manufacturer's suggested values to evaluate whether the tolerance ranges (fuel efficiency -5%, greenhouse gas +5%) were exceeded. We carried out tests with test subjects based on the SAE J2951 evaluation method. The test vehicle was a 2L gasoline vehicle. The drive following performance was found to increase under deliberate driving conditions and decreased in smooth driving conditions. As a result of the analysis of the drive following performance, the closer the value is to 1, the more accurate the driving is. (-) indicates harsh conditions, and (+) indicates gentle conditions. The basic data on the driver following between testers was obtained by analysis of the tests. The fuel efficiency correlation with the drive following performance within the target speed range of the fuel consumption mode. In the future, these measurement results can serve as key data for securing an exhaust gas database and fuel efficiency system for each measurement mode.
