최근에 작업현장에서 널리 사용되고 있는 허리보호대는 그 예방적 효과에 대한 확실한 검증이 이루어지지 않고 있다. 작업현장에서의 허리보호대의 예방적 효과에 대한 8편의 생체역학적(biomechanical) 연구들과 6편의 역학적(epidemiological) 연구들 그리고 2편의 종합적 연구들을 비교 정리하였다. 대부분의 생체역학적 연구들은 허리보호대의 기계적 작용과 그에 따른 예방적 효과와의 직접적인 상관관계를 보여주지 못하고 있다. 역학적 연구들은 일관성 없는 결과들을 발표하여 작업현장에서의 허리보호대의 예방적 효과에 대한 연구결과간의 비교를 어렵게 하고 있다. 좀더 확실한 결론을 얻기 위해서 앞으로 작업현장에서의 허리보호대의 예방적 효과에 대한 더 많은 연구가 있어야 할 것이다.

The lumbar disc is one of the first parts of the human body to age. Female discs start to age at twenty and completely age between fifty and sixty. The number of lumbar herniated intervertebral disc patients is increasing rapidly; however, studies on protective inner wear are insufficient. This study develops protective inner wear equipment for bodies. The following were the study methods and procedures. First, the protective design, pattern and making of the inner wear were based on the analysis of collected data. Second, one subject was selected, then human body parts were measured to create the inner protective pattern. The inner pattern was made by the basic size of the subject. The inner protective equipment was made for lumbar disc disease patients after a wearing test and after correcting the pattern. Third, inner protective equipment was thoroughly tested to verify the compatibility of lumbar pads. The following were the study results and observations. First, lumbar pads who had inner protection were easily worn and the design was very ladyish in contrast to other lumbar pads on the market. Second, the pattern was completed by referring to, Lee Hyoung Sook's, torso and her lumbar pad shape. The fabric was mesh (for good ventilation) and poly spandex (for elasticity). Third, lumbar inner protective equipment was verified through a subject assessment and a major assessment. This study showed high scores on appearance and functional satisfaction versus existing disc lumbar pads in the market. This study predicts that new waist protective inner wear can help the female patient's health and social life because it has great functionality and can maintain outer line patterns.

Lumbar discs are one of the first parts of the musculoskeletal system to age in the human body. Lumbar disc for females start to age at twenty years of age and completely age between fifty and sixty. The number of lumbar herniated intervertebral disc patients are increasing rapidly; however, studies on protective inner wear are insufficient. This study was conducted to develop protective inner wear equipment that retains an aesthetic appreciation of the body. The methods and procedures of this study are as follows. First, foreign and domestic lumbar pads were researched and analyzed by visiting medical shops and internet shopping malls that sell lumbar pads. Second, the survey was conducted on forty patients with disc disease in hospitals located in Seoul and surrounding suburbs. The following are the study results and observations. First, the lumbar pads selling on the market had a variety of designs, textiles, and fabrics. The result of the research was to develop additional inner protective equipment for lumbar herniated intervertebral disc patients. Second, the survey results of the forty patients with disc disease were that housewives were the most vulnerable. All patients had experience purchasing lumbar pads. The prevention of pain and stress were the most selected responses for the motivation to buy lumbar pads. Most individuals said that they used lumbar pads for less than 1 year. Dissatisfaction came from fabric, activity and design. 'Being uncomfortable to wear' was the most common complaint. 'Protection and how easy the clothes were to wear' were the most selected for the necessity of developments. The Inner wear shape was the most selected in shape. Except for six respondents, all favored the lumbar protective inner wear design.

현재 사용하고 있는 안전대는 벨트가 허리와 엉덩이 부분에 매여지도록 되어 있고, 충격흡수능력이 부족하여 추락시 허리나 하반신을 다치게 할 수 있으며 중량이 무겁다는 결점이 있다. 또한 이 제품은 작업복 위에 별도로 착용해야 하는 번거로움이 있어서 근로자들이 이의 착용을 기피하고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 근로자가 실수하여 추락을 한다고 하여도 추락시 충격흡수가 완만하되 정확하여 충격에 의한 상처나 허리부상이 없고 착용하기가 편리한 새로운 안전보호장구를 고안 제시하려 한다.(중략)

To enhance the design and comfort of waist-protection corsets, this study analyzed the product characteristics of five types of posture-correction corsets that are available commercially. Additionally, subjective evaluation of the corsets was conducted on women aged 20 to 60 years, in terms of design, material preference, fit, comfort, degree of correction, freedom of movement, tightness, and convenience of front fastening. Following product analysis, the five corset types were divided into: two soft, one semi-hard, and two hard types in terms of the degree of elongation. As a result of pattern analysis, the soft type was designed to improve fit by reflecting the body curvature, whereas the semi-hard and hard types were relatively flat. Through the wearing sensation assessment, the hard type manufactured by company S was the best in terms of design, material, fit, comfort, correction degree, and freedom of movement. The soft type was average in design, material, and fit while relatively poor in the correction degree and tightness. The results indicated that soft materials, flexible bones with appropriate tension, patterns designed to snugly fit the body with large curvature at the top and bottom for better inflection, and adjustable support belts that can be double-fixed are crucial elements in improving the corset design to boost the comfort of wearing. These study results are helpful in the development of waist-protection corsets with excellent wearing comfort and design appreciated by customers.

The winter cherry bug (Acanthocoris sordidus Thunberg, Coreidae, Hemiptera) is a insect pest that have a piercing sucking type mouthpart, and it is injured to solanaceous plants including pepper plant. For the control of the winter cherry bug, 20 organic synthetic insecticides and 7 environmental friendly agricultural materials (EFAMs) were selected with single formulation. Fenitrothion, fenthion and phenthoate were significantly higher mortality to adults and 3rd instar nymphs of winter cherry bug as over 95 and 100 % after 72 hours with treatment. Otherwise, in case of EFAMs, there is no significantly higher effective materials to adults and 3rd instar nymphs of winter cherry bug. Eighty percentage of Sophora flavescens was showed only around 50% mortality with the high variation after 72 hours with treatment against adult of the winter cherry bug.

퇴행성 관절염은 관절을 보호하고 있는 연골이 마모되면서 뼈끼리 맞닿아 마찰을 이루면서 통증, 부종, 염증뿐 아니라 관절 변형 및 운동 장애까지 불러오는 질환이다. 50세 이상의 노년층에서 가장 흔히 찾아볼 수 있으며, 손가락, 발가락부터 허리, 고관절 등 전신의 어느 부위에서나 나타날 수 있다.

Considering increasing demand for improved waist protectors for the elderly, in this study we sought to design a waist protector that reflects the body characteristics, preferences, and satisfactions of the elderly. A survey conducted to investigate elderly satisfaction with existing waist protectors, as well as their preferences in product function, design, and characteristics, found that consumers are not satisfied with current waist protector offerings and would prefer protectors that allow greater freedom to perform physical activities and that are more easily accessible. Based on the survey, we developed a guideline on function, design, and characteristics, resulting in four new waist protector designs: A and B for men, and C and D for women. Significant preference differences according to gender were reflected in the designs. For example, designs for female waist protectors focused much more on improving tightness, size, freedom of movement, and easy attachment or detachment than designs for male waist protectors did. Evaluation of satisfaction with new designs suggests that new designs meet the satisfaction criteria of elderly consumers, who express willingness to purchase and use them.
