While there have been many previous studies showing that an entrepreneur's personal characteristics have a significant impact on his intention to start a business, there was relatively little research on the inherent mechanisms for this. Recent researches show that entrepreneur's personal characteristics affect the entrepreneurial intention through entrepreneurial attitude and perceived behavioral control, rather than directly. This study carried out empirical research on 233 Chinese university students on what personal characteristics affect the entrepreneurial intention of Chinese university students, who are actively engaged in start-up activities recently. Based on the theory of planned behavior, we set entrepreneurial attitude and perceived behavioral control as important variables that shape the entrepreneurial intention and formed a model and hypotheses that personal characteristics of a potential entrepreneur(leadership, planning, innovation, sociality) affect the entrepreneurial intention through these two variables. We verified these hypotheses by regression analysis and structural equation model. The analysis confirmed that for Chinese university students the entrepreneurial attitude and perceived behavioral control were important antecedent variables that shape the entrepreneurial intention. It was also shown that leadership and innovation have a positive influence on the entrepreneurial attitude, while leadership and planning raise the level of perceived behavioral control. As a result, leadership forms the entrepreneurial intention through the entrepreneurial attitude and perceived behavior control, and innovation affects the entrepreneurial intention through the entrepreneurial attitude, while planning affects the entrepreneurial intention through perceived behavior control. Therefore, entrepreneurship education that emphasizes leadership, innovation and planning is required for Chinese college students as a potential entrepreneur. These three factors could also be important personal characteristics when choosing a potential entrepreneur.

The purpose of this study is to find ways to improve education about safe medication use by investigating the current status of medication use by middle and high school students, and by evaluating their knowledge, attitudes, practices and education needs toward safe medication use. For this purpose, a survey was administered to 200 middle and high school students in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province. Over the past year, 92.0% and 57.5% of respondents used over-the counter drugs and prescription drugs at least one time, respectively. Regarding the experience of education on safe medication use, 34.0% of respondents have been educated more than once since their admission to middle school. The overall mean score of knowledge·attitude·practice (KAP) toward safe medication use was 3.79, but the mean score of practice scope was relatively lower than the others. Moreover, there were no significant differences in KAP scores for safe medication use by school grade or educational experience. Based on these findings, we suggest further studies regarding 1) expansion and differentiation of education content on safe medication use, 2) transition of education method to outcome-based education approach, and 3) inclusion of education on safe medication use in the regular curriculum of middle and high schools.

With the rapid progress of the 4th industrial revolution, technical human capitals are considered to be the core competing factors of the enterprise. Technical manpower training of the 4th industrial revolution through technical education has become an essential task of venture start-ups. The opening of technical training courses and the education support system of companies are increasing, but the shortage of technical manpower is getting worse. This study was conducted to analyze the factors affecting participation intention of the 4th industrial revolution technology education. The research model was established based on the model of goal-directed behavior. For the analysis, 250 valid questionnaire data were used to test with a structural equation model. The results of the study are as follows. First, attitude had a positive effect on the intention to participate in education. Second, subjective norms had a positive effect on the intention to participate in education. Third, the perceived behavioral control has not been tested for a significant influence on educational participation intention. Fourth, positive and negative anticipated emotions had a significant effect on educational intention. The impact of significant variables were found in the order of positive anticipated emotions, attitudes, negative anticipated emotions, subjective norms. On the other hand, as a result of testing the mediating effect of desires, it was found that desires plays a mediating role between attitude, subjective norm, perceived behavioral control, positive anticipated emotions, negative anticipated emotions, and participation intention. In particular, the causal relationship between perceived behavioral control and intention to participate in education was not significant, but perceived behavioral control had a significant effect(full mediation) on participation intention through desires. Based on the results of this study, the following implication were suggested. First, the model of goal-directed behavior(MGB) was applied to the technical education field. Second, the direct relationship between antecedent variables and behavioral intentions was simultaneously tested. Third, unlike the existing education-related research, the factors affecting participation in education were analyzed. Fourth, the importance of desires for education were suggested.
This study aimed at examining the effects of the environmental aspects of work-family role conflict on child-rearing attitudes of working mothers. To accomplish study purpose, 267 working mothers were asked to fill out the survey questionnaires. The research results were as follows. First with regards to the effects of both direction of work-family role conflict on child-rearing attitudes of working mothers: the work interference with family conflict was negatively related to affectionate child-rearing attitudes of working mothers; the work interference with family conflict was positively related to rejection child-rearing attitudes and control child-rearing attitudes of working mothers; and the family interference with work conflict was negatively related to autonomic child-rearing attitudes of working mothers. Second, in terms of the effects of the three types of work-family role conflict on child-rearing attitudes of working mothers: the work family strain-based conflict was negatively related to affectionate child-rearing attitudes of working mothers; the work family strain-based conflict was positively related to rejection child-rearing attitudes and control child-rearing attitudes of working mothers; and the family work strain-based conflict was negatively related to affectionate child-rearing attitudes and autonomic child-rearing attitudes of working mothers. Based on these results, suggestions and implications were provided.
Purpose: The purpose of the study was to identify teacher's knowledge about sodium, dietary behaviors related to sodium, attitudes towards a low-salt diet, and meal attitude guidance as well as examine the relationship between these variables. Methods: The participants were 351 teachers at an elementary school in the Jeonbuk area. The data were analyzed using ANOVA, Duncan test, and Pearson correlation coefficients with SPSS v. 20.0. Results: The score for teachers' knowledge about sodium was 12.92 points of a possible 16, the score for dietary behavior related to sodium was 46.85 points of a possible 70, and the score for attitude towards a low-salt diet was 33.63 points of a possible 50. Their score for meal attitude guidance was 59.95 points of a possible 80. The knowledge showed significant differences by hypertension drug (p < 0.05) and stress level (p < 0.05). The dietary behavior of sodium use showed significant differences by gender (p < 0.01), work experience (p < 0.05), BMI (p < 0.01), drinking (p < 0.05), concern about health (p < 0.05), and stress level (p < 0.05). The attitude towards a low-salt diet showed significant differences by gender (p < 0.05), marital status (p < 0.05), work experience (p < 0.05), drinking (p < 0.05), concern about health (p < 0.001), and stress level (p < 0.05). Meal attitude guidance showed a significant difference by marital status (p < 0.001), age (p < 0.001), work experience (p < 0.001), drinking (p < 0.01), regularity of health checkup (p < 0.001), concern about health (p < 0.001), and stress level (p < 0.05). There was a low positive correlation between knowledge about sodium and dietary behavior related to sodium as well as between dietary behavior related to sodium and attitudes towards a low-salt diet. Attitudes towards a low-salt diet showed a positive correlation with meal attitude guidance. Conclusion: Therefore, it is necessary to consider educational programs on increasing knowledge and attitudes towards a low-salt diet in teachers for improvement of meal attitude guidance activities for students.
The objective of this research is investigating the mediating effect of job engagement on the relationship between job autonomy and innovative behavior in public organizations. Major findings from Structural Equation Model analysis demonstrates that the variable 'job engagement' took a positive role between job autonomy and innovative behavior. From theoretical point, this result provides the empirical evidence of causal relationship in the three components of attitude-cognition, emotion, and action, which contributes to the advancement of action theory. Some policy implications can be drawn from the empirical findings. Firstly, job autonomy need to be seriously considered as a strategic instrument for the encouragement of innovative behavior. Secondly, job engagement of employees need to be more carefully monitored to stimulate the innovative behavior in the public organizations. In public organizations, enhancement of innovative behavior can not be achieved from institutional arrangements. Provision of job autonomy is more effective method of behavior change than performance management approach.

The purpose of this study is to explain eco-tourists' behavioral intention based on exploring Extended Theory of Planned Behavior and Sustainable Intelligence as moderating variable. To do so, the survey was conducted on eco-tourists from Dongbaek-Dongsan wetland, Jeju-do between March. 12th and 30th, 2023. As a result, eco-tourists aged 50 years old and over, and from Jeju-do with their family members have more possibilities to visit Dongbaek-Dongsan wetland. Also, this study analyzed that independent variables including subjective norm, epistemic value, emotional value and attitude showed significant effects on behavioral intention. Further, sustainable intelligence as the moderating variable showed its moderation effects between independent variables including attitude and subjective norm, and behavioral intention as dependent variable.
This study intended to verify the impact of non-verbal communication of servers in the service industry on the affective path among customer's positive emotion, self-identification, and loyalty(behavioral and attitudinal loyalty). The data of 397 customers of typical fast food restaurants in Busan and Gyeongsangbuk-do area were analyzed with SPSS and AMOS, and the hypotheses were verified through structural equation model after frequency analysis, as well as exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis. According to the empirical analysis, all three components of server non-verbal communication in the service industry, body language, pseudo language, and body appearance, in respective order, had positive (+) influences on the positive emotion of customers. In addition, customer emotion had a positive (+) influence on brand self-identification. Finally, self-identification had a positive (+) influence on behavior loyalty and attitudinal loyalty. This study suggested practical implications and logical implications in the course of developing emotional loyalty for restaurant companies.

Internet companies that utilize social network have increased in number. The introduction of diverse social media services facilitated innovative changes in e-business. Social network service (SNS), which is a domain of social media, is a web-based service designed to strengthen human relations in the Internet and build new social relations. The remarkable growth of social network services and the profit generation and perception of this service are the new growth engines of this digital age. Given this development, many global IT companies views SNS as the most powerful form of social media. Thus, they invest efforts to develop business models using SNS.2) This study verifies the impact of privacy exposure in SNS as a result of privacy invasion. This study examines the purpose of using the SNS and user's awareness of the significance of personal information, which are key factors that affect self-disclosure of personal information. This study utilizes theory of reasoned action (TRA) to provide a theoretical platform that describes the specific behavior and emotional response of individuals. This study presents a research model that considers negative attitude (negatude). In this model, self-disclosure in SNS is considered a TRA. TRA is a subjective norm, a behavioral intention, and a key variable of exposure behavior. A survey was conducted on college students at Y university in Seoul to empirically verify the research model. The students have experiences in using SNS. A total of 198 samples were collected. Path analysis was applied to analyze the relations of factors. The results of path analysis show the statistically insignificant impact of privacy invasion on negatude, subjective norm, behavioral intention, and exposure behavior. The impact of unrecognized privacy invasion was also considered insignificant. The impacts of intention to use SNS on negatude, subjective norm, behavioral intention, and exposure behavior was significant. A significant impact was also found for the significance of personal information on subjective norm, behavioral intention, and exposure behavior, whereas the impact on negatude was insignificant. The impact of subjective norm on behavioral intention was significant. Lastly, the impact of behavioral intention on exposure behavior was insignificant. These findings are significant because the study examined the process of self-disclosure by integrating psychological and social factors based on theoretical discussion.
The purpose of this study was to analyze the impact of community characteristics of induced participants on values, attitudes, and behaviors (VAB) and intention to continue participation. Convenience sampling (n=192) was used to sample the research subjects, and confirmatory factor analysis, correlation analysis, and structural equation modeling were conducted using SPSS 26.0 and AMOS 26.0. The results of this study are as follows. 1) Among the community attributes of the participants, reputation, enjoyment, interaction, and social connection had a significant impact. 2) Value-Attitude-Behavior (VAB) was found to have a significant hierarchical impact. 3) Behavioral intention was found to have a significant effect on continuation intention. Through this, the Judo community needs to build a participant-centered organizational culture that can create positive value in order to increase participants' participation in Judo.
