Improvement Strategy for Demolition Industry through a Analysis of Domestic Demolition Technique and Situation (국내해체기술 및 현황분석을 통한 해체산업의 발전방향)

  • Currently, one of the most interested things at home and abroad country will be an eco-friendly construction. Among these, one of the most important elements will be the recycle and reuse of construction and demolition waste. Because construction waste is generated the most at the demolition phase, it is important to minimize the quantity of the demolition waste at the phase. And it is also important to develop a system to manage rightly the generated demolition waste. But in the domestic country, a research for this has hardly been carried out. In recent, the government has realized its importance and is making a research to improve demolition technique and is preparing a research to make a raw for deconstruction. Therefore, this study examined its application situation and importance by analyzing the trend of demolition technique used in the domestic industry. Also this study carried out a survey for situation analysis of the demolition industry. This study suggested items needed for the development of demolition technique, demolition design and reduction of C&D waste through a survey results and a situation analysis.

  • 러시아의 흑연감속원자로해체기술센터(NDR 센터)는 2015년 말에 우라늄흑연로인 EI-2의 해체 작업을 성공적으로 마쳤다. DNR 센터의 최고 책임자인 Andrey Izmestyev는 세계 최초로 수행된 이 프로젝트에서 "우리는 많은 기술적, 환경적 어려움을 극복하고 성공적으로 임무를 완수했다"고 말했다.

  • Domestic explosive demolition techniques have been developed and applied for low-rise structures up to now. However, the demand for the development of those techniques that can be applied economically, safely and environment-friendly rapidly increases because the old high-rise RC rahmen structures that were built since around 1970s are now required to rebuild. As a result, element technologies of explosive demolition for low-rise structures were applied to take advantage of technology in high-rise structures that performed application testing at Chungang Department demolition field in Daejeon city. It could judge elements technology establishment for high-rise structure demolition and field application and suggest the improvements when the problems occurred to develop High-rise building demolition techniques for method of protection a field test and the dust reduction test. The water cannon test was applied to reduce the dust site and the drilling tests are performed to select the best components for explosives demolition elements techniques of the reliability. This paper shows that we have the ability to remove a high-rise building using environmentally friendly safe and economical explosives demolition method. It would contribute to prevent a foreign company from entering the domestic market and should contribute to acquire competitiveness of domestic demolition industry.

  • Decommissioning cost estimation is a very important technique in designing and planning of nuclear facilities' decommissioning. Decommissioning cost estimation should be made according to the phases of decommissioning activities and installed components of nuclear facilities. In this paper, the basic framework necessary for decommissioning cost estimation is completed so that it could be used as a technique for decommissioning costs estimation by specifying cost items and group components and unit cost factors on which work time is calculated. Also, factors to be considered for decommissioning cost estimation of major activities and tasks are reviewed. Afterwards, these techniques will be utilized as a basic technology to establish methodology of decommissioning cost estimation and evaluation.

  • 해체 준비 작업부터 해체 후 처리까지 가상의 디지털 해체 환경에서 해체 활동의 예측에 필요한 모듈별 기능들을 요소별로 검토 분석하였다. 해체 정보 통합 관리 시스템의 기본 정보를 제공할 수 있는 모듈을 확립하기위해 해체 데이터베이스와 3D CAD 를 연동시키는 방안에 대하여 연구하였다. 3 차원 dosimetric mapping 기술로 방사능 오염 분포를 입체적으로 묘사할 수 있는 모듈과 제염 해체 단위 작업별 평가식과 가중치 값을 이용하여 해체 작업자수와 해체 시간을 평가할 수 있는 모듈을 연구하였다. 연구 결과 가상의 해체 환경에서 연구로 및 원자력 시설 해체시 경제성과 안전성에 영향을 미치는 해체 일정과 해체 비용을 평가할 수 있는 단위 모듈들의 기능을 활용하여 해체 통합 관리 시스템의 설계 기준과 요구 조건 및 기능을 도출하였다.

  • The purpose of this study is to explore a safe, advanced, and environment-friendly demolition equipments and their operation methods. As an initial achievement, the capacity of the existing equipments have been evaluated through technical discussions and demonstrations with some experts in the related industry. From these evaluations, it was concluded that a haptic based remote control with force feed-back mechanism and sensor fusion functions would be the most appropriate to the demolition equipments. Therefore, a novel haptic device that is adequately designed for the demolition equipments is proposed in this paper. Top-down demolition method is also proposed, which is very effective in the demolition of high-rise buildings.

  • The D&D work requires worker's safety and high reliability of operation because it has been processing in high radioactive environment. Therefore, it is necessary to select the dismantling items and applicable dismantling technologies and analyze the scenarios for selected items. In this paper, the main dismantling items were selected by the consideration of several factors, their 3D CAD models were constructed as well. The applicable dismantling technologies for each dismantling items were selected and their dismantling scenarios were setup. Finally the 3D graphic simulations for the shielding concrete, the RSR, and the core are performed.
