A study on entry into the offshore service market through slack model (해양플랜트 서비스 시장에의 진입 방안 연구 -슬랙모델을 이용하여-)

  • Domestic offshore business is oriented toward building drill-ships, FPSOs(Floating Production Storage and Off loading). But the equipments needed for offshore platforms are not so developed in Korea because the equipments can not be verified in Korean territory where the offshore platforms are not stationed. This study aims at finding some methods on entering into OSI for the maintenance and disassembly of fixed offshore platforms. Slack model is adopted to find out how slack assets could play a role in penetrating foreign markets. Firstly, entry into the South East Asian market is recommended. Secondly, forming a consortium is suggested by which taking part in offshore market can be easier. Finally, strategic plans for obtaining the technology for ship building equipments are needed as well as government support.

  • 전 세계적으로 기후변화에 따른 주기적인 가뭄 현상과 기상 이변으로 인해 물 부족 사태는 심각해져 가고 있으며(UNEP은 물 기근에 시달리는 세계 도시 곳곳에 사는 많은 사람들은 2000년 5억 명에서 2025년 40억 명까지 증가할 것이라고 추측하였다), 산업화 이후 인구의 증가와 산업의 발달에 따른 삶의 질을 향상시키기 위한 물의 수요 또한 증가하고 있는 추세다. 그러나 인간이 사용 가능한 수자원은 지구상에 존재하는 물의 3% 이내로 한정되어 있으며 산업발달 및 도시화에 따른 지표수의 바다로의 유출 또한 빨라져 지하수개발, 하수재이용, 인공강우 및 해수담수화 등의 대체수자원의 개발이 요구되는 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 Global Water Intelligence(GWI)의 자료를 기초로 하여 중동 및 북아프리카 지역 20개 국가를 대상으로 생활 용수 자본지출 추세, 공업용수 수요 시장규모 성장추세, 이용가능한 수자원 및 그에 따른 사용 중인 수자원 비율, 2007년 기준 물 부족 인구, 2011년~2016년 물 부족 인구를 조사 및 분석하였다. 용도별 생활용수 공업 용수의 추세 분석 기간은 2008년부터 2016년까지 실시하였으며 평균 연감 증가 백분율 5%이상 국가를 선정하였다. 중동 및 북아프리카 지역 20개 국가 중 18개 국가가 생활용수 자본지출 연감 증가 백분율 5%이상의 높은 수요 전망을 보였으며, 공업용수 수요 시장 전망은 높은 성장성을 보이며 큰 규모의 주요 2개 국가가 선정되었다. 또한 20개 국가 각각의 이용 가능한 수자원 및 그에 따른 사용 중인 수자원 비율, 2006년 기준물 부족 인구, 2011~2016년 물 부족 인구를 조사한 결과 전체 20개 국가 모두 물 부족 국가로 산정되었으며, 20개 국가 모두 해안지역에 위치해 있어 해수담수화 시설의 건설 가능성이 높은 지역인 것을 확인하였다. 조사한 중동 및 북아프리카 지역 중 많은 수의 국가가 물 부족 현상에 시달리고 있으며 물 수요 시장 전망 또한 증가할 것으로 나타나 대체수자원의 필요성은 증대될 것으로 판단되며 그에 따라 본 연구는 향후 국내 기업들이 세계 해수담수화 시장에 진출하는데 있어 진출 전략 마련에 기초가 될 것이라고 판단된다.

  • It is related to launch the CM market and to increase the profit and entire ability in company that is enforcing the ability of construction management in large-scaled construction company. According to the CM market in U.S, CM market is increased with competing to the companies, that is E&C, general contractor, design firm, specialized CM firm. Also domestic market is similar to US market. In this situation, large-scaled construction companies are filled with construction management ability for competing with foreign companies and domestic CM firms. This paper suggests how to enforce the construction management ability through education, and shows the detailed education strategy considered the fields, divisions and positions.

  • This study tries to analyze what the most significant factors are in Brazil, where the Korean investing firms have to overcome and adapt to various difficulties, especially in terms of political environment. This main purpose of this research is to test empirically some relations of between the managing strategy of Korean firms and the environment factors of politics in Brazil while this is conducted in two stages. First, the research model is designed by reviewing relevant theories, previous studies, and the current investment conditions in local Brazil. Second, the survey of Korean firms engaged in investment activities in there is done by collecting questionnaires from them. with this survey, the strategic method of multiple regression is used to testing some hypotheses. At the result of Analysis, It is proved there haven been negative affecting political factors of law/regulation system and administrative operation service, and Korean firms have implementing the responding management strategies with reasonable adaptation to risks and human network reinforcement.

  • In this paper, IT and sports services, a study on the R&D strategy for convergence. A Comparative Study on the Relationship between Organizational Culture, Strategic Activities and Export Performance of Manufacturing SMEs based on the Type of Strategies (중소 제조기업의 전략 유형에 따른 조직문화, 전략적 활동, 수출성과의 관계 비교)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the role of the type of strategies on the relationship organizational culture, strategics activities and the export performance of manufacturing SMEs. This study analyzed the moderated effects of type of strategies between the organizational culture, strategic activities and the export performance of SMEs. This study suggested 20 questions latent variables based on existing research. Organizational culture were divided into adhocracy culture and market culture and strategy types were divided into prospectors and defenders. The sample SMEs be analyzed were 200 firms. The 7 hypotheses including moderated effects were analyzed by using LISREL as structural equation modeling. In the result of empirical analysis, the adhocracy culture indicates a positive effect on customer relationship building activities but product quality assurance activities was not significant. Market culture showed a positive impact on both customer relationship building and quality assurance activities. This study conducted multi-group analysis for the purpose of the moderated effects of type of strategies. Multi-group analysis results showed that there are difference effects between the relationship of adhocracy culture, customer relationship building activities and product quality assurance activities. In addition, the group choice adhocracy culture based on the prospectors strategy had a greater impact than the market culture group on the relationship building activities and export performance.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of partnership type (pre-competitive, competitive, pro - competitive, non - competitive partnership) and national cultural characteristics on partnership performance. In order to analyze this, we conducted questionnaires on companies that have conducted international management and affiliated companies. A total of 223 questionnaires were sent. A total of 121 inquiries were collected from 224 survey requests. Based on this, a structured questionnaire was sent back to the staff members listed in the survey request, and a total of 98 samples were collected. The results of the empirical analysis through the questionnaire showed that the difference between the affiliation type and the national culture had a significant effect on the partnership performance. The results showed that the difference between the affiliation type and the national culture had a significant effect on the partnership performance. This could be a very meaningful implication for companies that are able to achieve successful alliances in a way that enables them to achieve successful alliances.

Evaluation of the Perception and Satisfaction of Working and Internship Abroad -By Undergraduates Studying in Culinary and Foodservice Departments- (해외 취업 및 인턴쉽에 대한 인식과 만족도에 관한 연구 -조리 및 외식관련 전공자를 대상으로-)

  • This study was conducted to evaluate the perception and satisfaction of undergraduates majoring in culinary arts and food service with working and internship abroad. The responses of the participants to 10 questions regarding perception and 13 questions regarding the importance and satisfaction with working and internship abroad were measured on a 5 point Likert scale. The primary results were as follows : 1) The subjects were composed of 50.9% male and 49.1% female students, of which 42.1% were employed and 57.9% experienced an internship abroad. 2) Most students went abroad to gain experience with respect to various foreign cultures in response to recommendations by the western cuisine department. 3) The items "I wish to conduct my affairs continuously"(M=4.21) and "I have good relationships with my colleagues at work"(M=4.11) received the highest points from male and female respondents, respectively. 4) Male students considered "cooperation among divisions"(M=4.11), "language skills"(M=4.38), and "kitchen environment"(M=4.34) to be very important. However, female students believed that "language skills"(M=4.36),"social relationships"(M=4.21), and "wage income"(M=4.18) were most important. Furthermore, male students were most satisfied with "company size" (M=4.28), "kitchen environment"(M=4.21), and "business hours"(M=4.10), while female students were most satisfied with "kitchen environment","incentive"(M=4.14) and "social relationships"(M=4.11).

  • 최근 B2B 전자상거래 확산에 따른 물류문제를 해결하고 오프라인 물류와의 차별화롤 시도하기 위한 목적으로 다양한 물류측면의 대안이 제시되고 있다. 먼저 물류산업 자체의 e-business화를 추진함으로 기존 물류체계에서의 고비용 문제, 책임 소재가 불분명한 서비스 문제를 해결하고 운송정보의 실시간 제공을 통한 발주자, 화주자 간의 긴밀한 커뮤니케이션 형성과 해외시장을 겨냥한 글로벌 물류체계를 구축해야 한다. 다음으로 물류업종의 지나친 세분화, 기존 물류업체의 영세성과 혁신마인드의 부족, 그에 따른 제조 유통업체의 경쟁적 자가물류 확충의 악순환으로 제3자 물류시장 성장기반이 제한되어 오는 등 구조적인 문제점을 극복하기 위하여 주요 운송업체가 영세한 화주나 창고관리 위탁업무까지 대행하여 주는 지금까지의 제3자 물류 체제에서 대기업이 물류시장에 새롭게 진출하면서 사이버 물류시스템을 기반으로 기존 주요 운송업계와 VAN 사업자가 장악하고 있는 물류정보 서비스를 주도하는 제4자 물류체제로의 전환이 요구된다. 왜냐하면, SCM과 전자상거래 환경 하에서는 공급 망 내의 물류를 최적화하여 기업의 경쟁력을 강화하기 위해서 기능적 아웃소싱의 단계를 거쳐 물류기능의 통합과 운영의 자율권이 증대, 전체적인 공급연쇄 솔루션을 제공하는 서비스 제공자와 함께 기업의 경영자원, 능력, 기술을 관리하고 결합하는 공급연쇄 통합자로서 제4자 물류가 필요하기 때문이다. 이와 같은 제4자 물류체제가 본격 형성될 경우 물류정보와 인프라가 복잡하게 업혀있는 기존 물류산업이 재편되고, 특화된 물류솔루션을 바탕으로 한 산업별 물류체제 구축이 가속화될 것으로 예견되며, 일반기업 입장에서 물류부문의 아웃소싱이 촉진되어 물류산업기반이 확충될 수 있을 것이다.

  • A main purpose of this research is to identify success factors of start-up based on the AER case study. As a result of case analysis, In the early stage, the success factors of start-up are the entrepreneur's history, experience, expertise, prompt judgment, problem-solving ability, the capacity and teamwork of its members, business networks and supporting government start-ups. In the commercialization stage, securing commercialization and investment funds, timing, differentiation strategy, overseas advancement, and acceptance of customer feedback are important. In the growth stage (maturity stage), new product launches and diversification, and establishment of organizational culture are important. Based on the results of this analysis, this study sought success factors and implications for each stage and sought research directions in the future.
