등부표 관리를 위한 근거리 점검 시스템 설계 및 점검 이력 관리 방안 고찰

  • 해양 4차 산업 도래에 맞춰 기존 항로표지 역할에 ICT 기술을 융합하여 근거리에서 통신을 활용하여 항로표지의 점검 및 관리시스템 개발의 요구가 있다. 항로표지 점검 시 관리자들의 편의와 점검을 위하여 선박 접안 사고 예방 등 근거리 통신을 적용한 장비 점검 시스템 개발이 필요하다.. 본 논문에서는 현황 분석을 통하여 근거리 점검 시스템 설계 방향을 제시하였다. 다양한 분야에서 무선 통신을 활용한 점검 및 모니터링 기술을 분석하여 시스템 구성 방향을 제시하였고, 현재 운영중인 항로표지 관리운영 시스템을 분석하여 점검을 위하여 표출할 정보를 검토하였다. 향후 설계 방향을 바탕으로 시스템을 개발하고 성능 평가를 수행할 예정이며, 관리의 편의를 위하여 정보협력센터에 제공할 이력 정보를 검토할 예정이다.

  • 오늘날 위성항법, 위성통신을 이용한 항공항법감시의 새로운 변화 가운데 국제민간항공기구(ICAO)에서 VDL(VHF Digital Link) Mode 4로 채택된 STDMA (Self-organized Time Division Multiple Access)에 관심이 증대되고 있다. 해양분야에서는 선박위치 자동인식시스템(AIS) 및 선박운행관리시스템(VTS)에서 2002년부터 적용될 예정이고, 항공분야에서는 향후 몇 년후에는 ADS-B, SMGCS에서 응용될 가능성이 높다. 본 연구에서는 STDMA를 이용한 SMGCS구현을 위한 기술개발로서 사전에 측지된 기준국으로부터 실시간으로 GPS 보정값을 생성, 전송하도록 하는 실시간 DGPS기술과 동기신호에 따라 시분할 다중접속을 구현한 소프트웨어 기반의 TDMA기술을 구현하였으며 이를 연구원내에서 차량이동 실험을 수행하여 다수의 이동국간에 측위값을 상호전송함으로써 각각의 위치를 실기간으로 파악할 수 있음을 보였다.

  • This research implemented Geostationary Ocean Color Imager (GOCI) observation satellite imagery visualization system on a large high-resolution tiled display. This system is designed to help users observe or analyze satellite imagery more effectively on the tiled display using multi-touch and Kinect motion gesture recognition interaction. We developed the multi-scale image loading and rendering technique for the massive amount of memory management and smooth rendering for GOCI satellite imagery on the tiled display. In this system, the unit of time corresponding to the selected date of the satellite images are sequentially displayed on the screen. Users can zoom-in, zoom-out, move the imagery and select some buttons to trigger functions using both multi-touch or Kinect gesture interaction.

  • It is not easy to identify the location of mobile terminals based on drones in the mountainous area, the densely populated urban area, or the space where mobile terminals can easily move by using equipments or modules that can recognize the location of sensors or mobile terminals with LBS (Location-Based Service). However, although the performance of GPS has developed due to the development of technology, it is still widely used in position recognition systems using GPS modules in the sea and onshore, and there is much room for more utilization. Currently, most of the existing sensor networks need to send at least three location information messages to mobile terminals with location information that a plurality of mobile base stations depend on GPS. However, location recognition of mobile repeaters that maintain a certain movement speed using acceleration sensors is necessary for efficient communication network connection.

  • 한국해양연구원에서는 국토해양부의 지원을 받아 2010년 7월부터 새로운 개념의 해저로봇 개발에 착수하였다. 새로이 개발되는 해저로봇은 프로펠러 방식으로 추력을 얻는 기존의 해저로봇과는 달리 여러 개의 관절로 이루어진 6개의 다리를 이용하여 해저면에 근접해서 보행과 유영으로 이동하는 해저로봇으로 강조류와 악시계의 환경에서도 운용이 가능한 로봇이다. 이 해저보행로봇 시스템은 선상시스템과 완충기, 그리고 해저보행로봇으로 구성되며, 이들 사이는 광변환기를 통해서 광케이블로 연결된다. 선상시스템에는 해저로봇의 제어 및 모니터링을 위하여 10대의 컴퓨터가 설치되어 있고, 완충기와 해저로봇에 각각 1대의 입출력 컴퓨터가 내장되어 장착된 센서와 모터의 인터페이스를 담당한다. 본 논문에서는 해저보행로봇의 통신 시스템을 소개하고, 이 통신 시스템에서 사용되기 위하여 설계된 메시지의 통신 프로토콜을 설명한다. 해저보행로봇 시스템의 주 네트워크는 기가비트 이더넷이며, 안정된 통신 환경의 소규모 독립 네트워크이다. 완충기와 해저보행로봇에는 최대 100㎐로 동작하는 다양한 직렬 통신 방식을 갖는 다수의 센서와 모터가 장착되어 있는데, 입출력 컴퓨터가 이더넷 네트워크와의 인터페이스 역할을 수행하여 계층적 네트워크를 구성한다. 로봇 제어에서는 실시간성이 중요하기 때문에 이더넷에서 통신 메시지는 한 번의 전송으로 여러 컴퓨터에 전달할 수 있도록 멀티캐스팅을 사용하여 전송된다. 설계된 통신 프로토콜은 이러한 해저로봇 시스템의 특성에 적합한 간결한 구조로 설계되었으며, 최대 255개의 주소를 지정할 수 있고 255 종류의 메시지 형태를 설정할 수 있다.

  • In this paper, the main objective of maritime safty network is to prevent Marin Accident in advance and avoid the loss of lives and property efficiently. Our country's martime safety network was widly changed with its concerned rules and the operation methods through the complete operation of GMDSS system wewr enforced, but the loss of lives from marin accidents tends to increase against the general expectation.

  • To advance fisheries, we set developmental directions of fishery information by grasping present situations and analyzing maritime & fisheries issues. We promote various policies through effective systematical information data bases, based on both control and utilization of oceanic resources. For these puposes, it is imperative that we set up fisheries communication networks. There are satellite assisted informational networks to assist fishing vessels with their marine based movements. However, there's no hope for poorly equipped fishermen to adopt this network because of extravagant network call charges. So we think that using existing SSB communication system is the best plan. We organize fishery communication network by HF SSB communication which doesn't have operational costs. We build wireless transmitting and receiving stations that are basic systems of informnation, and equip wireless data communication systems by the use of wireless communication network protocols in coastal stations. It is necessary that a fish boat has a terminal device for wireless data communication. In this research we can conclude that if we transmit the location of a fishing boat in-real time through GPS channels then we propose that some methods be formulated to able terminal devices on fishing boats to collect various types of information, such as meteorological and oceanic conditions.

  • Recently, RFID/USN technology has been applied in various fields such as logistics, environment, education, home network, disaster prevention, military, and medical care, but despite the remarkable development of RFID/USN technology, it is difficult to apply it to marine industry due to the characteristics of poor marine environment. Therefore, satellites are mainly used in the marine sector, and existing communication networks are used in the coast, so measures for forming a shelf-only short-range network in the ocean are being considered. In this paper, we consider the use of drones as mobile base stations of USN as a base station role using USN in existing PS-LTE and LTE networks.Since autonomous navigation vessels are aiming for the intelligent system, the number of crew and labor force should be reduced and the function of autonomous network formation in the form of more stable and intelligent ICT convergence technology should be strengthened.

  • The IMO e-navigation strategy has requested a communication infrastructure providing authorized seamless information transfer between stakeholders. The Maritime Cloud is the term used to describe the concept of an infrastructure that support authorized, seamless information transfer, adding those elements, that are necessary to support the e-navigation domain. It is necessary to consider the study on maritime cloud security, but the study is still an early stage. In this paper, we propose a secure synchronization method for the maritime cloud services. The proposed method can be synchronize between the vessel based on the SH-Tree, and it has the advantage that there is no exposure information in the synchronization process.

  • Many lighthouses have been built for safety navigation of vessel, but the management of lighthouses had to paid for maintenance costs. For that reason, the remote control system for the lighthouse is to be used, but the communication expense is very expensive because of the use of satellite communication network or the RF communication network Also, the state of lighthouse is difficult to analyze as transmit only measured data. Therefore, this paper embodied the remote control system for the lighthouse using CDMA method, that was extended to island area and we verified the effectiveness of the proposed system.
