OSV 시장 조선.해운 동반진출 전략

  • 글로벌 금융위기 이후 우리나라의 조선사와 해운사의 경영악화가 심화되고 있다. 해양플랜트 시장의 성장에 맞춰 OSV의 성장도 두드러지는 실정이지만, 우리나라의 조선사와 해운사의 진출은 아직 초보단계에 머물러 있다. OSV는 우리나라의 경제성장의 한 축을 담당했던 조선-해운의 동반성장 모델과 마찬가지로 OSV건조-운영은 침체에 빠져있는 우리나라 조선사와 해운사에 좋은 성장기회를 제공하여 동반성장이 가능한 좋은 전략이 될 수 있을 것이다. 이에 본 원고에서는 국내 조선사와 해운사가 OSV 시장에 동반진출할 수 있는 방안을 제시하였다.

  • 크루즈관광산업은 국제적 금융위기에도 불구하고 지속적 성장세를 유지하고 있으며 국제 크루즈선사들의 아시아 진출에 따라 동북아 크루즈관광산업은 최근 급속도로 성장하고 있다. 한편, 국내 크루즈산업은 크루즈항만을 중심으로 하는 수용태세가 미흡하며 국적 크루즈선사의 육성도 중국, 일본에 비하여 부족한 실정이다. 이 연구에서는 동북아 크루즈시장의 성장에 대응하기 위한 중장기 정책방향의 수립과 더불어 크루즈항만의 활성화전략 및 정책적 개선방안을 제시하였다.

  • 귀어·귀촌 인구 증가 추세에도 불구하고 어촌의 인구는 감소하고 있으며, 어촌에 유입된 인구의 지역융화과정에서 문제가 발생하고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 어촌의 어업활성화 뿐만 아니라 다양한 활성화 방법을 제시하고 유입 인구의 원활한 정착환경을 마련하기 위한 마을차원의 지원체계와 지역융화를 위한 방안을 제안하였다.

  • 나팔고둥, Charonia sauliae은 식용 및 공예품으로 애용되어 왔을 뿐만 아니라, 해양생태계에서 불가사리의 천적생물로 각광을 받고 있음에도 불구하고 남획으로 인하여 세계적으로 멸종위기 동물로 알려진 복족류이다. 이러한 중요성에도 불구하고 현재까지 나팔고둥에 관한 연구결과로는 국외에서 발표된 분포(Mel, 1976; Russo et al., 1990) 및 기초생물학적인 보고(Bentivegna et al., 1988; Lin et al., 1996)만이 있을 뿐이고 국내의 경우도 관련 논문을 찾아보기 힘든 실정으로 나팔고둥의 자원을 효율적으로 관리하고 이용하기 위해서는 종묘생산기법을 개발하여 자원 확보 및 산업적 가치를 높일 필요성이 제기된다.   • In recent years, the crisis of energy is growing seriously and also the contamination of ecology has been reverberated as international problem. The social concerns on energy crisis have been growing for the last several years and also the interests in new and renewable energy have been increased. Therefore, in order to solving these problems, as solution of one, this paper is investigated using the aeration system at the fish farm, etc from nature energy such as wind power. This study suggests the fundamental data of designing for these similar apparatus and examines the parameters of wind velocity and wind receiving area. Especially, the water outlet position was mainly investigated with optimum outlet angle of wind pump.

  • The aim of onboard training of apprentice engineers in the training ship is to support and enhance fundamental knowledge and ability to have both theoretical and practical skills. This diversity in education and training improve the capability to handle problems in a crisis and build-up the feeling of confidence so they can effectively accomplish their assigned tasks in special circumstance like those onboard. Therefore this study suggests some remedies for qualitative improvement and guidance of onboard training ship for apprentice engineers to achieve the aims of onboard training to foster talented marine engineer officers with professional knowledge and leadership.

A Study of the Use of Foreign Currency Derivatives in the Korean Shipbuilding Industry (한국 조선 산업의 외환 파생 상품 활용에 관한 연구)

  • The exchange rate volatility during the global financial crisis in 2007-2009 led Korean shipbuilding companies to face currency risk. The use of foreign currency derivatives to take a risk in financial exposure affects them significantly. This research analyzes how the use of foreign currency derivatives affects the Korean shipbuilding industry in relation to its foreign sales by company type and over time, especially before and after the crisis period. It is based on statistical data presented by KOSHIPA and KOSIC in 2001-2014. The results of the analysis show that there is a significant relationship between foreign currency derivatives and foreign currency exposure for all firm sizes and years, but no relationship between them overtime.

Distribution of Seabird in Coastal Wetland of Korea in 2015-2019 (2015-2019년 한국 연안습지에 서식하는 바닷새 분포 현황)

  • The distribution of seabirds was investigated in 24-34 major coastal wetlands in Korea from 2015 to 2019. During the study period, seven orders, 16 families, and 111 species were observed, and the largest number of species (51-89 species) was recorded in 2018. 92,821-265,783 individuals per year were observed with the largest number in 2018. The largest number of species (55-72 species) was observed in the southern sites of Jeollado, and the largest number of individuals (annual average of 62,542 individuals) was found in Chungcheong regions. The largest number of seabird species (68 species) was observed at the Suncheon Bay site in 2016, and the largest number of individuals (95,399 individuals) was observed at Biin and Jangan sites in 2018. In terms of the habitat type of seabirds, at the family level, shorebirds appeared most frequently with an average of 38%, followed by waterfowl, wading birds, seabirds, and raptors. With regard to legally protected species, eight protected marine species, 19 endangered wildlife species (Level I: six species, Level II: 13 species), and twelve natural monument species were observed. Overall, there was a significant difference in the number of species and individuals of seabirds in the Korean coastal wetlands during the research period. This suggests the importance of conducting systematic and continuous seabird surveys and developing a conservation policy considering habitat characteristics.

A Study on the Collision Risk Perception Index to OOW's According to Vessel Encountering Situations (선박조우 상황별 항해당직자의 충돌위기체감지수에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is for Human error prevention to acquire Collision Risk Perception Index (CRPI) sensed by the Officer Of the Watch (OOW) when the approaching distances are reduced in six types of ship encountering situations (Head on, $045^{\circ}$, $090^{\circ}$, $135^{\circ}$, Overtaking, Overtaken) between own ship and a target ship and then to predict CRPI fitting coefficients with polynomials in the curve-fitting process. CRPI acquisition experiments are carried out on two coast-guard ships and with the total of 30 crew members. Analysing results shows that CRPI data have goodness of fit to the six types of encountering situation. Futhermore, the One-Way ANOVA results show that CRPI has a negative affect to the OOW's age, career and license grade as the approaching distances is reduced. The availability of CRPI curve fitting with 3 degrees of polynomial was testified through the RMSE as 1.19 to Head on, 0.87 to $045^{\circ}$, 0.81 to $090^{\circ}$, 0.71 to $135^{\circ}$, 1.29 to Overtaking and 0.87 to Overtaken.

Marine Finance and Port Logistics Industry's Development Schemes as a Creative-type Service Industry (해양금융과 항만물류산업의 발전방안 연구 -창조형 서비스산업을 근간으로-)

  • The purpose of this paper aims at contributing to the national economic development through global competitiveness enhancement by marine finance's hub and marine logistics cluster by finance specialization and finance support as a creative-type service industry in global shipping port logistics. This study adopted the integrated approach and applied it to policy implementation to achieve the effectiveness. Creative-type marine finance development stages as a tool of policy implementation and the guide line for the time of policy implementation are followed by Stage 1(Construction & Growth Policy) for 2013~2016, Stage 2(Forstering & Activation Policy) for 2017~2019) and Stage 3(Continuous Development Policy) after 2020 until its completion. Korea has the inferiority over the competitiveness in global marine finance and needs a strategic approach to secure the liquidity of marine finance; interim, Islamic finance has been come to the force as a new alternative in financial transaction being accompanied by a spot transaction since the crisis of global finance. In order to create a potential slack of Korea in marine finance practice, in addition, this study suggests a consortium with the circle of Islamic finance as a clue of an easier policy implementation at the beginning stage.
