건설 자동화 비제조업의 자동화 중에서 가장 전망이 밝은 분야로 지목되고 있는 가운데, 많은 로보트가 출현하기 시작하고 있다. 본 해설에서는 로보트개발 현황을 중심으로 이러한 건설 자동화의 동향을 살펴보았다. 건설 분야의 자동화는 공장 자동화 기술의 단순한 확대 응용만이 아니라, 건설 시공 기술과 연계, 연구되어야만 그 효과가 극대화 될 수 있다는 점을 지적하고자 하며, 국내에서도 활발한 연구개발이 이루어져, 조만간 개방될 건설 시장의 국내 점유율을 유지함과 아울러 국제 무대에서도 선진 기술 보유국으로서 인정받을 수 있기를 기대한다.

주로 학생과 청년층에서 많이 하는 것으로 인식되고 있는 것이 현실인 자원봉사. 그러나 최근 인생에서 체득한 양질의 경험과 지식을 사회에 환원하는 어르신들의 자원봉사활동이 주목을 받고 있다. 미용사, 공예 강사, 문화해설사, 하모니카 강사 등 활동 내용도 다양하다. 이러한 어르신들의 봉사활동은 다음 세대에게 긍정적인 효과를 주고 있다.

In order to improve a trip pattern in Mt. Halla climbing only to a summit, two trip programs with nature interpretation have been developed using the geomorphic characteristics of Mt. Halla which are distinct from those of mountains in the Korean peninsula. It also aims to help conservation of natural environment of Mt. Halla and to enhance the visitor satisfaction in Mt. Halla. The subalpine trip program is carried out on a 1.5 km-long trail between Wissaeoreum Hut and Janggumokoreum. Program participants are able to learn expertise about, and understand vulnerability of, a subalpine ecosystem, Consequently, the program can obtain an educational attainment getting them to recognize the necessity of preserving the subalpine zone of Mt. Halla as an important natural resource. The mountain river trip program is performed on a 1.5 km-long reach of Byeongmun River between Gwaneumsa trailhead and a gorge upstream of Gurin Cave. The program is capable of exhibiting effectively the river characteristics of Jeju Island using the geomorphic and hydrologic properties of Byeongmun River which differ from those of rivers in the Korean peninsula. Since the subalpine grassland and ephemeral stream of Mt. Halla are the visiting places which are rarely experienced in the Korean peninsula, the program participants can understand the regionality of Jeju Island as well as Mt. Halla through trip activities.

As tourists travel to other regions, they encounter numerous facts that conflict with their views. At that time, we change our view of coping with life. In this respect, tourism is a new way of learning. As a new learning method, tourism experience research is a new approach. In this study, the relationship between experience and learning experienced in tourist destinations was analyzed by applying the activity theory. The analysis units applied in the activity theory were set as subjects, goals, communities, roles, methods and rules, outcomes, and relevance to local communities. Based on this, in-depth interviews were conducted with commentators and guides who had a great influence on the tourism experience to analyze the learning process of tourists. As a result of the analysis, the experiences of tourists during the tour were interactive in various forms within the unit as well as the unit of the activity system of the commentator and guide. This interaction induces changes in the tourism experience activity system, enabling tourists to learn. The content is that the value of learning increases as the role of guide and commentator increases, that the social and cultural dimension of tourism experience is included in the learning effect, and the contradictions that arise from interactions within or between activity systems. The fact that they find the solution process themselves, and that tourism activity is not an isolated unit, but exists at the intersection of hierarchies and networks, is affected by the activities and environments of others.

2015년도에 한국정보통신기술협회(TTA)는 표준의 보급 확산 활성화, 사실 표준화 기구에 대한 대응 활동강화, 국민 편익형 표준화의 본격추진, 중소기업에 대한 표준 지원활동 강화를 주요 목표로 삼고 이를 추진하기 위한 표준화 전략을 수립하였다. 이러한 목표를 달성하기 위한 세부 전략으로는 표준의 경제적 효과 분석, 국민 편익/생활 밀착형 표준화 본격추진, 기 제정된 TTA 표준의 Use Case 세부 조사 분석, 사실표준화기구에 대한 대응체계구축, 중점 표준화 분야와 적합성/인증연계, 표준보급활동 강화를 위한 맞춤형 표준설명회 개최 및 표준해설서 개발, 중소기업을 지원하기 위한ICT 표준화 사이버 지원센터 운영 등의 전략을 수립하였다.

현대 공장에 있어서 생산성 향상의 주요 부분은 정보 처리의 효율향상에 있으며 정보처리 네트워크의 신경계가 되는 LAN의 구축은 더욱 중요성을 더해가고 있다. 구체적으로는 마이크로 컴퓨터 응용기계를 효율적으로 결합한 LAN의 코스트 퍼포먼스는 초대형이나 슈퍼 미니 컴퓨터를 주체로 하는 시스템에 육박하는, 또는 이것들을 능가하는 가능성을 가지는 것으로서 공장의 경쟁력에 직결한 효과를 얻을 수 있다. 이와 같은 배경하에 중소공장의 FA와 LAN에 초점을 맞추어 LAN을 이해하는데 있어서의 기초 기술부터 시스템의 구체적 구축방법, 도입사례에 대해서 해설해 나가기로 한다.

최근까지 개발되어진 대체냉매는 매우 다양한데, 실제 적용되고 있고 또한 적용이 고려되고 있는 대체냉매는 주로 기존의 냉매와 열역학적인 특성이 유사하여 기존의 냉동시스템의 구조변경 없이 사용될 수 있는 것들이 주류를 이루고 있으며, 현재 오존층 파괴 효과가 없는 HFC(Hydrofuorocarbon)계통의 냉매가 많이 개발되고 있다. 대체냉매의 적용에는 냉매의 열역학적인 성질 뿐만 아니라 ㅎ 화학적 안정성, 윤활유와의 혼합성, 연소성 등 많은 문제를 고려해야 한다. 본 해설에서는 대체냉매를 적용한 공조시스템의 개발 동향 및 문제점에 관해서 간단히 서술하였으며, 비록 제한적이기는 하나 주로 삼성전자에서 생산되고 있는 냉장고와 에어콘을 모델로 하여 설명하였다.

본 해설에서는 필자가 참여한 여러해에 걸쳐 수행된 실시간 차량시뮬레이션 및 운전시뮬레이터 연구프로젝트를 토대로 운전시뮬레이터의 역사적 배경, 구성 및 기술현황을 알아보고, 이의 응용분야를 소개하고자 한다. 차량의 새부품 개발에서부터 위급한 상황에서의 운전자 반응연구까지 폭 넓은 분야의 시험을 효과적이고 경제적으로 수행할 수 있는 운전시뮬레이터는 신차의 개발비용 및 시간절감 효과를 가져오는 차량시스템 개발의 종합적인 도구로써 그 위치를 공고히 해가고 있어, 우리나라에서도 그 중요성 및 필요성이 어느 때보다도 크다. 운전시뮬레이터는 재현하는 큐의 현실감 정도에 따라 제작비용의 차이가 매우 크기 때문에, 적용분야에 따른 필요한 큐를 상세히 검토하여야 한다.
