Trajectory Based Air Traffic Analysis Software Design for Dynamic Airspace Configuration (동적 공역 형상관리를 위한 궤적기반 항공 교통량 분석 소프트웨어 설계)

  • In this paper, the design result of the trajectory-based air traffic analysis software which is going to be used to assess air-traffic efficiency in case that some modification's made in dynamic airspace configuration, is described. The software has been developed to make statistical data about air-traffic in Incheon FIR based on the RPL, and to analyze the airway utilization and controller workload using the trajectory modeling data which are derived from the aircraft type, cruise speed, cruise altitude, and routes and fixes in the RPL. Since it batch-processes the long-term trajectory data with other inputs such as airspace, route information and so on, it has the advantage of quickly predicting the traffic variation when some change in airspace and route information is made.

  • 본 논문에서는 ROS(Robot Operating System) 기반으로 한 로봇(Robot)에 레이저 거리 센서(LiDAR)를 설치하여 SLAM(Simultaneous Localization And Mapping) 기법으로 지도 정보를 습득 및 저장하고, 이를 기반으로 맵핑된 환경과 환경 내 장애물을 회피하여 안전하고 정확하게 이동할 수 있도록 하였다. ROS는 하드웨어 추상화, 장치 드라이버, 시각화 도구, 패키지 관리 등 로봇 애플리케이션을 개발할 수 있도록 라이브러리와 도구를 제공한다. 또한 로봇 동작에 사용되는 프로세스 간 TCP-IP 통신을 통해 연동할 수 있도록 한다[1]. Ubuntu 18.04 버전의 OS에 ROS Melodic 버전을 설치해서 앱으로 선택된 목적지로 이동하는 물류 이송 로봇을 구현하였다.

Aviation Safety Regulation and ICAO's Response to Emerging Issues (항공안전규제와 새로운 이슈에 대한 ICAO의 대응)

  • Aviation safety is the stage in which the risk of harm to persons or of property damage is reduced to, and maintained at or below, an acceptable level through a continuing process of hazard identification and risk management. Many accidents and incidents have been taking place since 2014, while there had been relatively safer skies before 2014. International civil aviation community has been exerting great efforts to deal with these emerging issues, thus enhancing and ensuring safety throughout the world over the years. The Preamble of the Chicago Convention emphasizes safety and order of international air transport, and so many Articles in the Convention are related to the safety. Furthermore, most of the Annexes to the Convention are International Standards and Recommended Practices pertaining to the safety. In particular, Annex 19, which was promulgated in Nov. 2013, dealing with safety management system. ICAO, as law-making body, has Air Navigation Commission, Council, Assembly to deliberate and make decisions regarding safety issues. It is also implementing USOAP and USAP to supervise safety functions of member States. After MH 370 disappeared in 2014, ICAO is developing Global Tracking System whereby there should be no loophole in tracking the location of aircraft anywhere in world with the information provided by many stakeholders concerned. MH 17 accident drove ICAO to install web-based repository where information relating to the operation in conflict zones is provided and shared. In addition, ICAO has been initiating various solutions to emerging issues such as ebola outbreak and operation under extreme meteorological conditions. Considering the necessity of protection and sharing of safety data and information to enhance safety level, ICAO is now suggesting enhanced provisions to do so, and getting feedback from member States. It has been observed that ICAO has been approaching issues towards problem-solving from four different dimensions. First regarding time, it analyses past experiences and best practices, and make solutions in short, mid and long terms. Second, from space perspective, ICAO covers States, region and the world as a whole. Third, regarding stakeholders it consults with and hear from as many entities as it could, including airlines, airports, community, consumers, manufacturers, air traffic control centers, air navigation service providers, industry and insurers. Last not but least, in terms of regulatory changes, it identifies best practices, guidance materials and provisions which could become standards and recommended practices.

  • ICAO has recommended data-based aviation safety management and decision-making systems through Annex 19(Safety Management) and Doc 9859(Safety Management Manual), stressing that safety can be greatly improved by sharing aviation safety information throughout the industry. Accordingly, advanced aviation countries have built infrastructure to collect and analyze various aviation safety data in an integrated manner, and also tried to spread identified major safety issues across the industry. On the other hand, in Korea, each stakeholder collects, manages and analyzes safety data individually, so there is a limit to use them in integrative manner. In addition, the scope of using and sharing aviation safety information such as analysis result is also focused on safety management at the national government level, which is insufficient to be shared throughout the industry. Accordingly, the purpose of this study is to present a plan to share and utilize the domestic aviation safety information. To do this, we compare the current situation between FAA and domestic industry and suggest the improvement plans.

  • 기존의 스타일러는 옷 건조, 살균 기능을 가지고 있으나, 비용이 비싸며 공간을 차지하는 단점을 가지고 있다. 알림 기능을 가지는 스마트 옷장은 옷장위에 설치된 라즈베리파이 디스플레이에 간단한 날씨정보를 출력하여 그 날의 날씨정보를 시간소비 없이 간편하게 습득할 수 있으며, 한줄 뉴스를 통하여 그 날의 소식을 간편하게 알 수 있다. 또한 옷장 내부에 설치된 아두이노가 온습도 센서와 미세먼지 센서를 통제하여 옷장 내부의 온도, 습도, 미세먼지 농도를 디스플레이를 통해 알 수 있으며, 습도가 높거나, 미세먼지 농도가 높을 경우에 옷장 내부에 부착된 쿨링팬이 자동으로 작동하여 옷장 내부를 환기시킴으로써 습도를 낮추고 먼지, 냄새 등을 제거해주는 효과가 있다. 그리고 습도나 미세먼지 수치가 낮아지면 자동으로 쿨링팬의 작동은 멈춰진다. 또한 미세먼지, 온습도 값에 따라 3색 LED가 색이 변화한다. 이런 스마트옷장으로 바쁜 현대 사회에서 사용자들의 시간을 절약해주고 옷의 관리해줌으로써 편리함을 제공한다.

  • 최근 고령화 사회로 인해 노년층의 인구 비율이 증가하고, 각종 질병 및 조기사망 등 많은 위험에 노출되고 있다. 이러한 위험을 최소화하기 위해 다양한 의료 기기들이 발전해나가고 있다. 그 중 일반 사람들이 접하기 쉬운 기기가 바로 AED(자동제세동기)이다. 현재 상용화되어 있는 AED는 의학 지식이 부족한 일반인에게 음성 및 화면을 통해 가이드를 해주고, 부착 패드에 전기를 가하여 심장에 전기충격을 줄 수 있게 만들어져 있다. 본 논문에서 AED 기능을 고도화하여 환자의 상태를 확인하고 환자의 위치와 바이탈 체크 정보를 수집하여 웹 서버로 전송하는 기능을 구현하였다. 서버에 전달된 정보는 출동하는 구급대원에서 전달되어 보다 빠른 조치가 가능한 응급시스템에 이용된다. 본 논문의 결과는 환자의 상태나 위치를 손쉽게 확인하고 관리함으로써 비상 상황 시 대처를 신속하게 할 수 있으며 기존 AED보다 경제제적 부담을 줄이는 기대 효과를 가질 수 있다.

Extraction of Spatial Information of Facility Using Multiple Photographic Analysis (다중사진 해석에 의한 시설물 공간정보 추출)

  • 본 연구에서는 기존 지형도나 준공도면 자료에서 상세정보가 누락되거나 갱신이 이루어지지 않아 시설물관리체계에 필요한 수치지도의 체계적인 구축이 요구되는 지역에 적용할 수 있도록 지상사진, 항공사진 등 영상자료에 다양한 사진해석 기법을 적용하여 수치지도를 생성하고 공간 및 속성정보를 추출하였다. 본 연구에서는 다중사진 촬영에 의하여 대상물의 3차원 모델과 3차원 사진영상모델을 생성하였다. 또한, 소축척 항공사진을 이용하여 대상지역의 벡터라이징을 실행한 결과, 각 건물과 도로시설물의 위치와 형태 등 공간정보의 추출이 가능하였다.

  • Recently in order to more effectively and scientifically process forest official tasks, which have been focused on documents and inventories, they should be applied with the up-to-date spatial information technologies. Especially, the forest resource information management based on GIS(geographic information system) and aerial orthophoto is expected not only to play an important role as DSS(decision support system) for domestic forest conservation policy and forestry development industry but also to service forest resource information toward people such as the owners of a mountain rapidly. In this study, the important forest information such as digital topography map, digital forest type map, digital forest cadastral map, digital aerial photographs and attribute data were first reprocessed and constructed in DBMS(data base management system). In addition, forest officials could analyze and retrieve forest information by using detail sub-application systems such as forest cadastral retrieval, forest land development information management, reserved forest information management and forest resource information retrieval. For this, the user interface is developed by using Visual Basic 6.0 and MapObjects 2.1 of ESRI based on CBD(component based development) technology. The result of developing this system will not only perform constructing economical forest and better environment but also be the foundation of domestic spatial technology for forest resource management.
