산화철 폐촉매로부터 합성된 NiZn- 페라이트의 자기적 특성 (Magnetic Properties of NiZn-ferrite Synthesized from Waste Iron Oxide Catalyst)

  • 석유화학 공정 중 Styrene(SM) 공정에서 발생되는 산화철 폐촉매는 산업 폐기물로서 전량 매립되고 있는데, 이를 출발 원료로 사용하여 NiZn-페라이트를 합성하였고 그 자기적 특성을 조사하였다. 산화철 폐축매 펠렛을 분쇄한 후 NiO 및 ZnO를 혼합하여 90$0^{\circ}C$에서 하소하고 123$0^{\circ}C$에서 5시간 소결하여 스핀넬형 페라이트 소결체를 얻었다. N $i_{x}$ Z $n_{1-x}$F $e_2$ $O_4$(x=0.36, 0.50, 0.66)조성에 대하여 초투자율을 측정하였고, S-parameter를 측정하여 반사 감쇄량을 계산하였다. 산화철 폐촉매를 이용하여 X-band 주파수 영역에서 높은 전자파 흡수능을 갖는 전파흡수체를 제조할 수 있음을 확인하였다.다.

  • This thesis deal with ferroelectric and ferrimagnetic materials, PZT/Ferrite ceramics. We conducted test of magnetical and electrical measurement. From this measurement, We obtained tunability and we can control characteristic impedance($Z_0$) from permeability($\mu$) and dielectric constant($\varepsilon$) for impedance matching in transmission line.

수열합성 Ba-Ferrite분말의 조성과 자성에 미치는 열처리 효과 (Effects of Heat Treatment on the Composition and Magnetic Properties of the Hydrothermal-Synthesized Ba-Ferrite Powder)

  • After Ba-ferrite powders synthesized hydrothermally and its heated powders were dissolved partially with HCl treatment time, the BaO/Fe2O3 mole ratio of dissolved solutions and powders were measured by AAS, also, lattice constants, particle morphology and magnetic properties in HCl treated, heated and no-heated Ba-ferrite powders were abtained by means of XRD, SEM and VSM, respectively. From above analysis results, the effect of Ba/Fe mole ration in suspension(as starting material) on the BaO/Fe2O3 composition and particle characteristics of products were investigated, and the effect of heat treatment on magnetic properties of products examined. The composition, lattice constant and crystal phase of products depend on the Ba/Fe mole ratio in suspension. Ba content in surface or outer part of Ba-ferrite powder is higher than inner and heterogeneous, and the excess Ba ions in the inner part of particle move into the outer by heating, so that the mole ratio of BaO/Fe2O3 in the more jinner approaches more to the stoichiometric composition 1 : 6. The crystallinity, coercivity and saturation magnetization of products are increased by heat treatment, and the heat-treated samples synthesized hydrothermally in lower temperature are appreciated to have better powder characteristics.

유기산염 열분해법으로 합성한 Cu-Ni-Zn 페라이트분말의 특성과 하소조건 (Calcined Condition and Characteristic of Cu-Ni-Zn Ferrite Powder Made by Thermal Decomposition of Organic Acid Salt)

  • In this study the calcined condition and characteristic of Cu-Ni-Zn ferrite powder were investigated. The Cu-Ni-Zn ferrite powder has been synthesized by the thermal decomposition of the organic acid salt. This process did not require a strict pH control and provided the uniform composition and fine powder with about 0.3 $\mu\textrm{m}$. The XRD diffraction pattern of this powder showed about 50% spinel phase. The optimum calcination was found to be done at $700^{\circ}C$ for one hour. After the calcination, the amount of spinel increased to 90%. The distribution of the particle size showed bimodal peaks, one was about 0.5 $\mu\textrm{m}$ and the other was about 20 $\mu\textrm{m}$. The large particles of 20 $\mu\textrm{m}$ were the agglomeration of fine Particles. The mean Particle size of the powder was about 0.4 $\mu\textrm{m}$. The powder was compacted under 100 MPa pressure and sintered at 1100~ $1250^{\circ}C$ for one hour in air. The density of ferrites specimen was a function of the sintering temperature. The higher the temperature, the denser the ferrite. The maximum relative density of the sintered ferrite was about 93% at $1250^{\circ}C$. The grain size of sintered specimen at $1200^{\circ}C$ was 5 $\mu\textrm{m}$ and homogeneous.

용융염내에서의 Ba-ferrite 결정의 생성과정 및 그 자기적 특성 (Formation Process of Barium Ferrite Crystallites in Molten Salts and its Magnetic properties)

  • 본 연구에서는 용융염법에 의한 Ba-ferrite의 생성기구와 그 자기적특성에 대해 조사하였다. 출발원료 중 BaC $O_3$만이 용융염내에서 용해도를 가졌으며, 이는 용융염내에서는 Ba-ferrite의 생성이 용해된 $Ba^{2+}$가 F $e_2$ $O_3$$\delta$-FeOOH의 표면으로 확산하여 표면반응을 통해 일어나는 것으로 보인다. 한편, 출발물질($\delta$-FeOOH와 F $e_2$ $O_3$)에 따라 생성된 Ba-ferrite가 합성되는 온도는 더 낮은 온도에서 생성됨을 알 수 있었다.
