Study on Improvement of Thermal Performance and Durability by Disk with Holes (타공 디스크에 의한 열적 성능 및 내구성 향상 연구)

  • In this study, the thermal performance of disk can be compared with disk and disk with holes through numerical analysis. The capacity of thermal emission on general disk becomes more than on disk with holes at the distribution of temperature at first and the magnitude of equivalent stress on general disk becomes less than on disk with holes at the distribution of stress. The capacity of thermal emission or the magnitude of thermal deformation on disk with holes becomes less than that on general disk 30 minutes later. The disk with holes is worn less and more durable than general disk. The performance of cooling and braking force at disk and pad can be improved by installing the disk with holes.

Stress Analysis of Automotive Tire at Contact on Road Surface (노면에 접촉된 자동차 타이어의 응력 해석)

  • This study is analyzed by stress contour of automotive tire at contact on road surface. Maximum equivalent stress as 61200Pa is shown on the lower mid part in case of tire contacted on road surface. As the air pressure of tire increases, maximum total deformation as 5mm is shown on the side part of tire. It can be shown that the side part of tire is unstabilized. There is no load effect on tire at its upper and lower directions. When the moment applied on the side of tire is increased 1.4 times as its value, the value of maximum principal stress is increased 1.4 times. The stress at the tire is in proportion to the moment applied on the its side. The tire tends to incline toward its side by this moment.

  • This study is analyzed by impact simulation according to material property at terminal case of hand phone. Maximum equivalent stress or strain at plastic is 40 times as great as that at magnesium alloy. And the next greatest stress or strain is shown at aluminium alloy. The value of maximum equivalent stress is shown as 6.5 Mpa in case of plastic, magnesium alloy and aluminium alloy. Maximum shear strain at plastic is 40 times as great as that at magnesium alloy. And the next greatest strain is shown at aluminium alloy. The value of deformation or strain at magnesium alloy and aluminium alloy is not different.

  • This study investigates the stress at gear by modelling differential gear and using FEM. When gear is driven under power, high equivalent stress of 1596.2MPa is occurred at the stationary shaft. Maximum equivalent stress of 1596.2MPa is also occurred at the bottom and root of tooth and its fatigue life becomes 12.4 as the shortest cycle. As much as it becomes away from the center of gear, the maximum deformation becomes occurred. As exact power is delivered with the precise design of gear, the loss of power energy can be decreased.

  • In this study, the temperature distributions are analyzed on the air flow according to the position of fan inside computer main frame by CFD simulation. In case that ventilation hole is existed at the side of computer frame, the air with lower temperature can be circulated near CPU radiant thermal panel. In case of installation with fan at the side panel, the temperature of air flow becomes lowest. The efficiency of thermal emission at personal computer and its durability can be improved by releasing a lot of heat at air flow effectively inside computer frame according to this simulation result.

  • This study investigates structural durability through the analyses of stress, fatigue life and vibration damage at bike carrier basket. As model 2 has less stress and deformation than model 1 on static structural analysis, model 2 becomes more durable than model 1. Among the cases of nonuniform fatigue loads, 'SAE bracket history' with the severest change of load becomes most unstable but 'Sample history' becomes most stable. The amplitude deformations become highest at maximum response frequency of 2400Hz in cases of models 1 and 2. As the values of maximum equivalent stresses become within the allowable material stresses at two holes at the upper parts on models 1 and 2, these models become safe. The structural result of this study can be effectively utilized with the design of bike carrier basket by investigating prevention and durability against fatigue or vibration damage.

Durability Analysis by Shape of Brake Disk Structure (브레이크 디스크 구조 형상별 내구성 해석)

  • This study investigates life, damage and durability through the analyses of fatigue load and vibration on disk brake models of A, B and C. Maximum equivalent stress is happened at the inside of disk brake on these models. As there are A, B and C models by order of life, model A has the most stable strength on fatigue analysis, The deformations at 3 kinds of models become nearly same on natural frequency analysis. The maximum total deformation and equivalent stress is shown at 1617Hz by harmonic vibration analysis on these models. As there are A, B and C models by order of deformation and stress, model A becomes lowest and safest. This study result can be effectively utilized with the design of brake disk in order to improve durability and prevention against its fatigue damage and vibration.

  • This study was designed for automated pattern drawing and grading a man's Durumagi, Korean traditional coat in order to reestablished and grade the pattern by Apparel CAD SYSTEM. For the study, AM-250 systems of Gerber as the computer and Macro program as the automated drawing were used. Also, PDS(Pattern Design System) was used for the grading of the original Durumagi pattern. Results were followings; First, the size data that could be standardized by reestablishing the pattern of a man's Durumagi by each size was presented. Second, The pattern was developed by each size. Third, new design was propose for mass production with the traditional design of the DURUMAGI Fourth, The time for making DURUMAGI pattern and the cost through the automated drawings by using the Macro program were reduced.   • 병변의 양상에 따른 감별진단 재발성 이하선 종대를 보이는 경우 타액선조영술이 영상진단방법중 1차적인 선택이 된다. Stensen 씨관이나 중심선관(central glandular duct)의 확장을 보이는 경우 만성 타액선염으로 진단할 수 있다. 소아에서의 단일성 양성종괴의 감별진단은 임파절, 혈관종, 양성혼합종양, 저급점액상피암, 임파관종 등이다. 성인에서의 단일성, 양성으로 관찰되는 종괴는 양성혼합종양, Warthin씨 종양, 저급점액상피암, 선상낭성암, 소포상세포암 등이다. 여러개의 종괴를 보이는 경우 Warthin씨 종양, 소포상세포암, 임파종, 육아종, 전이암 등이며 단일성 낭성종괴의 경우는 branchial cleft cyst,, Warthin씨 종양, 상피낭포 등이다.

Structural Analysis for Bicycle Frame by Type (종류별 이륜차 프레임에 대한 구조해석)

  • This study aims to analyze durability by comparing displacement on vibration at driving bicycle frame models of 1, 2, 3 and 4. Among maximum equivalent stresses at 4 kinds of models, model 1 has highest value with 410.39 MPa and becomes 30 times than model 4 with lowest value. The natural frequency number at Model 4 increases more than the other models. Among four models, the number of frequency at model 1 becomes lowest at harmonic vibration with real loading condition. In cases of four kinds of models, the maximum stress is shown near the assembly of rear wheel and the maximum displacement is shown near saddle assembly at this harmonic condition. The structural result about this study can be effectively utilized on the design of bicycle frame by investigating durability and prevention against its damage.
