PURPOSES : In this study, the effects of installation of diagonal crosswalks on traffic flow depending on the types of intersections are analyzed. METHODS : Scrambled crosswalks have advantages in the traffic safety. Therefore, a comparative analysis of the overall average delay before and after installation of the scrambled crosswalk was conducted using VISSIM. RESULTS : The overall average delay for the scrambled crosswalk decreased when the traffic volume ratio of the major to the minor street is 1: 6 in 2-by-1 and 3-by-1 types of intersections. The scrambled crosswalk improved efficiency of traffic operation in intersections: higher traffic volume for a major street, lower traffic volume for a minor street, and longer cross-distance for a major street. CONCLUSIONS:This study can be used to determine when a scrambled crosswalk should be installed to improve operational efficiency.

3D vibration measurement is achieved using one laser scanning vibrometer(LSV) and Laser scanner(LS) by moving the LSV to three arbitrarily locations from the principle that vibration analysis based on the frequency domain is independent of the vibration signal based on time domain. The proposed system has the same effect as using three sets of LSVs. It has an advantage of reducing equipment costs. Analytical approach of obtaining in-plane and out-of-plane vibration of surface is introduced using geometrical relations between three LSV coordinates and vibration measured at three different locations.

단상 및 3상 부하를 동시에 공급할 수 있는 3강 4선식 배전시스템은 일반 수용가 및 상업용, 공장 등의 시설에 널리 적용되고 있다. 한대의 변압기로 전력을 공급할 수 있으므로 작은 공간과 시스템 구성의 간편함이 장점이지만, 부하 운전패턴의 다양화와 컴퓨터 및 가변속 드라이브와 같은 비선형부하의 사용 증가시 전압불평형에 의한 문제점 발생은 큰 문제가 되고 있다. 외국의 경우 전압불평형에 의한 영향을 줄이기 위해 전압별 또는 부하의 종류에 따라 전압불평형율에 대한 규정을 제시하고 있으나, 국내에서는 전기철도와 같은 대형 부하에서만 전압불평형율의 기준만 정립되어 있고, 선형 및 비선형부하에 대해서는 규정이 제시되어 있지 않아 점차 증가하는 다양한 부하의 종류에 효율적으로 대처하기가 매우 어렵다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 국내외 전압불평형율에 대한 기준의 비교와 측정방법에 대한 내용을 제시 하고자 한다.

인구 및 차량 증가에 따라 날로 심각해지는 교통문제를 해결하기 위해서는 도로를 건설하는 방법만으로는 한계가 있음을 인식하여 새로운 도로의 건설보다는 도로의 교통효율을 높이고 안전성을 확보하는 것이 더욱 중요한 문제로 대두됨에 따라 저비용 고효율의 교통관리방안인 지능형교통체계(ITS)를 추진하였다. 이에 국가기간망인 국도의 ITS 구성과 차량검지기(VDS), 차량번호인식장비(AVI), 폐쇄회로텔레비전(CCTV), 도로전광표지(VMS) 등 주요장비의 구성을 통한 국도 ITS를 이해하고, 국도 ITS 구축 현황 및 계획, 그 효과를 살펴보고 비전을 제시함으로서 향후 추진해야할 개선방안을 제안하였다.

이미 작고한 중국의 자도자 등소평이 복용하여 장소를 누렸다고 하는 동충하초. 1992년 일본 히로시마에서 개최된 국제육상경기대회에서 마준렌이 이끄는 중국의 육상선수들이 신기록을 양산한 비결로 알려지면서 더욱 유명해진 버섯이다(1). 그런데 최근 국내에서 동충하초가 건강식품으로 인지도가 높아지면서 이의 판매를 둘러싸고 이해가 대립된 기관 또는 농민 집단 사이에 마찰이 발생하고, 일반 소비자는 동충하초에 관한 정확한 지식이나 정보가 없는 가운데 상인들의 상술에 농락당할 우려가 있어 자칫 건강에 유익한 새로운 식품소재에 대한 불신이 높아질 수 있는 문제가 발생하고 있다. 따라서 저자는 동충하초에 대한 모든 사람들의 이해를돕고자 그 동안 진행되어 온 상황을 설명하고 (1999년 9월까지), 여기에 내포된 문제점을 지적하였으며, 끝으로 동충하초를 국내 산업에 국한할 문제가 아니라 전세계적으로 동충하초 시장을 석권할 수 있는 발전방향과 규제완화 필요성을 제기하였다. 동충하초에 관한 일반 사항과 효능에 관하여는 저자들이 식품과학과 산업에 투고한 총설에 관련 문헌을 종합하여 요약한 바있다.

IPMC(Ionic Polymer-Metal Comosite) exhibits large deformation, having great attention in many application fields. It generates bending moment by ion exchange polymer film. It can be quickly bended by the applied voltage across the plated electrode of the polymer film. In the present paper, we derive the theoretical modeling and dynamic analysis of bending motions of IPMC actuators using the Euler-Bernoulli beam theory. The theoretical model of a cantilever IPMC actuator estimates the moment produced by the applied voltage. The dynamic characteristics, including natural frequencies and frequency response, are calculated by the theoretical model, and they are compared with the experimental results and finite element analysis. It is shown that the mathematical modeling allows precise estimation to the voltage-driven motion of the cantilever IPMC in air.

This research describes the survery and analysis of chatting, image chatting sites. For this, serveral investigations have done for analyzing the menu, numbers of connection, numbers of generation, numbers of sexual connection in the domestic representative chatting sites and image chatting sites. Also Q＆A has done for analyzing chatting sites problems directly, Finally, the solving methods is discussed.

나무를 좋아하는 사람은 많지만, 어떤 나무를 좋아하느냐고 물으면 그 대답은 미지근할 때가 많다. 나무의 필요성이나 가치를 익히 알고 있는 바이지만, 좋아하는 나무를 물을 때 선뜻 대답하는 사람이 적은 것은 각각의 나무에 대해 깊게 생각해 본 적이 별로 없는 탓일 게다. 이렇게 무더운 여름, 뜨거운 햇살을 가려주는 나무 그늘에 들어가고 싶다면, 그늘 아래에서 잠시 땀을 식힌다면, 바로 그 나무에 관심을 가져보는 것도 좋을 듯싶다. 그리고 그 나무를 좋아할 수도 있으리라, 그렇게 한번쯤 좋아하는 나무를 가져 보는 건 어떨까. 그럼 우리가 좋아하는 나무를 쉽게 만날 수 있는 공원을 찾아가보자. 예고한대로 이번호부터는 공원이나 가로 등에 심겨진 나무들에 대해 주제를 갖고 이야기해보고자 한다. 이번에는 최근 재정비사업을 마치고 시민들에게 새로운 모습을 보여주고 있는 보라매공원을 찾아보았다. 보라매공원은 여느 대형공원들처럼 위압적이거나 대규모의 인공 시설물이 적어서 인지 오히려 친근하게 다가오고 있다.

The integral imaging is a promising 3D display technology since it is able to deliver continuous viewing points, full parallax, and full color view to the observers in space. In this paper, we propose a novel interactive 3D integral imaging system using a single camera. The user interface is implemented by adding a camera in the conventional integral imaging system. To show the possibility of the proposed system, we implement the optical setup and present the preliminary results

To investigate constituents of Lampteromyces japonicus (Kawam.) Singer which grows wildly in Korea, the carpophores of the fungus were collected in Gyeong Gi. Province and analyzed for sterols and amino acids by gas chromatography and an amino acid autoanalyzer. The results showed that it contained stigmasterol and ergosterol and that it contained eleven free amino acids. These free amino acids were also determined quantitatively. Furthermore, sixteen amino acids were identified in the total amino acid fraction of the fruiting body.
