Determination of Appropriate Flood Reduction Alternatives for Climate Change Adaptation in Gyeongan Watershed (기후변화 적응을 위한 경안천 유역의 적정 홍수저감 대안 선정)

  • 최근 기후변화로 인하여 태풍 및 집중호우로 인한 극한 강우사상의 발생빈도가 증가하고 있으며, 급격한 도시화로 인한 유역 내 불 투수 면적이 늘어나고 있다. 이로 인해 재산피해가 증가하고 있어 기후 변화를 고려한 미래 하천범람 등 홍수피해를 경감시키기 위한 홍수저감 대안 선정이 필요하다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 기후변화를 고려하여 목표기간별로(기준년도 : 1971~2010년, 목표기간 I : 2011~2040년, 목표기간 II : 2041~2070년, 목표기간 III : 2071~2100년) HEC-HMS모형을 이용하여 기후변화에 따른 홍수량을 산정하였다. 또한, 배수펌프(A~E)와 저류지(A~E)를 홍수저감 대안으로 설정하여 HEC-RAS모형을 통해 대안별 홍수위를 산정하였다. 지형자료 및 홍수위를 이용하여 홍수범람도를 도시하였으며, 다차원 홍수피해액산정법(Multi dimension - Flood Damage Analysis, MD-FDA)을 이용하여 홍수피해 저감을 위한 대안별 경제성분석을 실시하였다. 홍수저감효과를 분석한 결과 배수펌프를 설치했을 경우 홍수위는 최소0.06m, 최대0.44m 감소하였고, 저류지는 최소0.01m, 최대1.86m 감소하였으며, 침수면적은 최소 0.3%, 최대 32.64% 감소되는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 또한, 경제성분석을 실시하여 대안별 편익 비용비를 비교한 결과 목표기간I에서는 저류지 E, 목표기간II, 목표기간III에서는 배수펌프D가 기후변화를 적응을 위해 타당한 홍수저감 대안으로 판단되었다.

  • The building heights of big cities which charged with most space are 3-D information as relative vertical distance from ground control points, but they didn't know the heights using contour with maps as lose of skyline or building heights for downtown, practically continuously developed of many technology methods for implementation of 3-D spatial earth. So, For the view as stereos of variety earth form generated 3-D spatial and made terrain perspective map, 3-D simulated of regional and urban space as aviation images. In this papers, it composited geospatial informations and images by DEM generation, and developed and presented for techniques overlay of CAD data and photos captured at our surroundings uses. Particularly, The airborne LiDAR surveying which are very interesting trend have laser scanning sensor and determine the ground heights through detecting angle and range to the grounds, and then designated 3-D spatial composite and simulation from urban areas. Therefore in this papers are suggested ease selections on the users situation by compare as various simulations that its generation of 3-D spatial image by collective for downtown space and urban sub, and the implementation methods for more accurate, more select for the best images.

Performance Simulations of Wireless Grid Communication Networks

  • Satellite communications consist of communications between base stations of the ground and satellites. For efficient satellite communications, ground networks should be organically utilized. Grid networks are frequently used in and outside the country for wireless communications. The performance of wireless communications is determined by mobility, topography, and jamming signals. Therefore, continuous studies of grid networks are necessary for the utilization of next period satellite networks. Since military communications are used based on wireless systems, they can be considered as a sample of utilization of grid networks. Therefore, this paper presented the results of simulations conducted for the improvement of the performance of the grid networks used in military communications that employing the OSPF, a popular routing protocol for military applications. First we investigate the effects of changing the bit error rate (BER) and number of routers. Then we discuss the effects of maximum segment size (MSS) on network behavior and stability. In this way, we can determine the appropriate MSS for a grid network under various values of BER and number of routers. Such results can be also applied to commercial grid network evaluations.

  • In this study, a research on disaster countermeasures to strengthen the disaster management field of rural areas. The purpose of this study is to investigate the measures to cope with the disaster in order to enhance the rural disaster management capacity. For this purpose, social and environmental characteristics of the rural area were examined and the characteristics of rural disaster perspective were derived. As for social characteristics, we analyzed the direct and indirect damage of disaster through interviews with residents affected by disaster. In the case of environmental characteristics, the factors that threaten the safety in the rural area were extracted based on the geographical and geographical characteristics of the rural area and quantitative analysis of the difference of the disaster response infrastructure compared with the city was conducted. In addition, it is necessary to further study the priority of disaster prevention in order to apply the disaster prevention method to rural areas.

  • 21C 현대 문명사회에서는 도시의 고밀도 및 팽창으로 인하여 도시 내 생태계가 파괴되면서 생물서식처의 환경 악화 및 엄청난 감소가 초래되었으며, 그 결과로 인하여 인간과 생물이 접촉할 수 있는 공간이 현저하게 줄어들고 있다. 또한 도시 영역의 확장을 위하여 산림 및 녹지의 감소, 녹지의 분절 및 단절화, 해안 매립 등이 계획 없이 무분별하게 진행됨으로써, 각종 동식물의 개체 수 감소 및 토양의 건조화 등이 발생하고 있으며, 그 영향으로 생물종의 다양성이 떨어지고, 도시 생태계의 교란이 심해지고 있다. 이러한 도시 생태계의 교란은 도시에 거주하고 있는 시민들의 생활의 질이 떨어지게 하고 많은 환경 문제들의 주원인이 되고 있다. 지속적이면서도 자연친화적인 도시발전을 위해서는 도시 내 자연생태계를 회복하고 생물서식공간을 종합적으로 보전하면서 복원해야 한다는 요구가 높아지고 있지만, 이를 체계적으로 이루기 위한 방법론의 부재에 시달리고 있었다. 이러한 가운데 유럽을 중심으로 생겨난 비오톱(Biotope)과 비오톱 지도화 방법이 생태계를 보전하며, 시민들에게 다양한 자연체험과 휴양 기회를 제공하고 친환경적인 도시계획을 위한 핵심적인 역할을 하는 것으로 인식되고 있다. 하지만, 기존의 비오톱 지도는 이미지 기반의 2차원 지도로 제공되고 있어, 거리 및 공간 분석에 취약하고 정보전달력이 부족하여, 익숙한 전문가가 아닌 경우 비오톱을 이해하는데 상당한 정도의 시간이 필요하였다. 이에 본 논문에서는 공간정보가 결여된 2차원 형태의 GIS 데이터를 기반으로 3차원 공간 데이터를 자동으로 생성하고, 위성영상과 DEM(Digital Elevation Model)을 이용하여 3차원 지형을 만들어 각 주제도별로 입체적인 분석이 가능하도록 하였다. 또한 동영상 녹화 기능과 3차원 객체 추가 기능을 이용하여, 자연생태계를 고려한 도시의 설계를 진행하는 경우 3차원적인 모델링을 제공함으로써 효과적이면서도 사용자의 이해도를 향상 시킬 수 있는 정보 전달력을 가질 수 있도록 설계 및 구현하였다.

  • In order to minimize the casualties and damages from natural disasters, local terrain and weather phenomena need to be constantly monitored. Various weather monitoring systems are designed to collect and monitor the weather information for disaster prevention. Nowadays, wireless sensor networks have been widely used to transmit the weather information and collected by the base station at a regular interval. In this paper, disaster prevention monitoring system for efficient data transfer of weather information such as temperature, humidity and illumination are designed. Weather information is able to burst the data transmission based on storage of flash memory. Telosb sensor node are used in the research; programmed by nesC language used by TinyOS.

  • As the technical standard of hydrographic data was transferred from S-57 to S-101, a standard system was set up for producing the next generation ENCs but also various maritime safety information. ECDIS that display a S-57 ENC and include a navigation support function, should be developed considering new standard. S-10X data and e-Nav information can be used in this system. In this study, an implementation mechanism of S-100 standard was analyzed for design of navigation support system based on S-100. From the results, it was designed as loading module of S-10X data, display module of SENC, navigation supporting module. Also, this study considered a next generation ENC, a bathymetric grid data, an electronic nautical publication as an input information.

Implementation of AUSV System for Sonar Image Acquisition (소나 영상 획득을 위한 무인자율항법 시스템 구현)

  • This paper describes the implementation of AUSV system for sonar image acquisition to survey the seabed. The system is controlled by Feed Forward PID algorithm on the vessel for bearing of the thrusters composed of motion sensor and DGPS which calculates the differences between the current location and the destination location for longitude and latitude based on GPS coordinates. As experimental results, the bearing control performance is good that the error distance from the destination positions are under 6m in total survey track of 1km. And the sonar image deviation of a object is under 12 pixels from the manned survey method, which the comparison with the total image quality is almost the same as the manned survey one. Thus the proposed AUSV system is a new method of system can be utilized at the limited survey areas as the surveyor should not be able to approach on sea surface by onboard vessel.

  • We developed a prediction model of assistance force for the opening/closing of an automobile door depending on the condition of the parking ground. The candidates of the learning models for the operating assistance force were compared to determine the proper force according to the slope and user's force, etc. The reduced experimental model was developed to obtain learning data for the estimation model. The learning algorithm was composed to predict the assistance force to incorporate real assistance force data. Among these algorithms, an Artificial Neural Network (ANN) and Support Vector Machine(SVM) were applied and the adaptability was compared between these models. The SVM provided more adaptability for the learning process of the door assistance force prediction. This paper proposes a system for determining the assistance force to control a door motor to compensate for the deviation of required door force in the slope condition, as needed in the plane condition.

A Guideline for Development of Track-Bridge Structural System with Sliding Layer to Reduce the Track-Bridge Interaction (궤도-교량 상호작용 저감을 위한 슬라이드 층이 고려된 궤도-교량 구조시스템의 개발 방향)

  • The bridges take a significant part of entire route in Korea railway, because 70% of Korean territory is covered with mountains. For this reason, span enlargement of railway bridges is more advantageous to increase economic efficiency on the bridge design. However there are many limitations such as additional axial force of the rail, excessive displacement due to track-bridge interaction. In this study, track-bridge interaction analysis was conducted considering the sliding layer which was installed between the track and girder. From the numerical analysis results, the behavior of track-bridge interaction was investigated according to the installation method of sliding layer. Finally, a guideline for development of track-bridge structure system to reduce the track-bridge interaction was proposed.
