For future multimedia services, one of the most crucial issues is building an access network that can accommodate multimedia services in subscriber network. The VB5.2 interface of B-ISDN located between an access network and a service node allows dynamic allocation and release of ATM resources. The SG 13 of ITU-T is standardizing the B-BCC protocol, which is sequentially interworked with signaling protocols in the service node. To minimize a connection setup delay of the sequential interworking mode, we proposed the parallel interworking model in which the SN executes simultaneously the connection control protocol of VB5.2 interface and signaling protocol. We simulate two interworking models in terms of a connection setup delay and a completion ratio. The results of simulation show that our proposed parallel interworking model for the VB5.2 interface reduces the setup delay and has the similar completion ratio compared to the sequential interworking model. however, the connection setup delay of parallel interworking model becomes about seven tenths of that of the sequential interworking model and the improvement become larger as the arrival rate increased.

The domestic market of CM at Risk has not been activated yet. It was analyzed duo to the fact that construction owners didn't have confidence in CM at Risk, because of the concerns regarding CM firms reliability, service, specialty, system and feasibility. Therefore, this study analyzed the problems to find the reason for declines in orders through a business diagnosis based on the Business Model Canvas(BMC) and set up the direction of business model improvement with one on one expert interviews. Additionally, we suggested the sub-activities for the business model improvements of CM at Risk service that are divided into 9 building blocks. Through this method, we determined that we would need preceding innovation activities such as good communication with customers, reinforcement of subcontract and excellence in project operations to convert the successful practice and settlement of the CM business model based in BMC. It is expected that the business model suggested from this study would contribute to improvement of CM at Risk competition and the differentiation strategy when compared with other firms. Also, it would be used a basis data to develop CM at Risk business model in the future.

High waves and storm surges due to tropical cyclones cause great damage in coastal areas; therefore, accurately predicting storm surges and high waves before a typhoon strike is crucial. Meteorological forcing is an important factor for predicting these catastrophic events. This study presents an improved methodology for determining accurate meteorological forcing. Typhoon Chaba, which caused serious damage to the south coast of South Korea in 2016, was selected as a case study. In this study, symmetric and asymmetric parametric vortex models based on the typhoon track forecasted by the Model for Prediction Across Scales (MPAS) were used to create meteorological forcing and were compared with those models based on the best track. The meteorological fields were also created by blending the meteorological field from the symmetric / asymmetric parametric vortex models based on the MPAS-forecasted typhoon track and the meteorological field generated by the forecasting model (MPAS). This meteorological forcing data was then used given to two-way coupled tide-surge-wave models: Advanced CIRCulation (ADCIRC) and Simulating Waves Nearshore (SWAN). The modeled storm surges and waves correlated well with the observations and were comparable to those predicted using the best track. Based on our analysis, we propose using the parametric model with the MPAS-forecasted track, the meteorological field from the same forecasting model, and blending them to improve storm surge and wave prediction.

XML은 강력한 데이터 표현능력들 인정받아 전자상거래와 같은 데이터 처리 분야에 적극적으로 도입되고 있다. 전자상거래는 인터넷의 확산과 더불어 급속도로 발전되었고. B2C의 성공은 기업간 전자상거래를 위한 비즈니스 모델들을 창출하였다. 이 비즈니스 모델들은 새로운 문서 기술 언어인 XML로 작성되고, 그 정보들은 각각의 기업의 데이터베이스에 저장된다. 저장에 필요한 데이터베이스로서 관계형 데이터베이스가 가장 일반적으로 사용되고 있으나, 관계형 데이터베이스의 단점을 보완한 객체지향형 데이터베이스가 개발되었고, 관계형 데이터베이스와 객체지향형 데이터베이스의 장점을 살린 혼합형이라 할 수 있는 객체 관계 데이터베이스가 개발되었다. 본 논문에서는 XML 문서의 저장에 관계형 데이터베이스와 객체 관계 데이터베이스를 사용하여 저장의 효율성을 비교한다.

우리는 국내 벤처/중소기업이 고품질 소프트웨어 개발을 지원하기 위해 한국형 테스트 성숙도 모델[1]을 개발하였다. 이를 기반으로 국내 중소기업 2곳을 선정하여 시범적용을 수행 하였다. 본 논문에서는 한국형 테스트 성숙도 모델 적용을 통해 조직의 테스트 수준을 진단하여, 개발 조직의 테스트 프로세스 개선할 수 있는 개선 가이드에 대한 연구이다.

본 논문은 향후 인터넷 사용의 많은 부분이 현재의 인간 사용자에게 에이전트로 옮겨져 갈 때 정보 검색과 상거래 활동을 중심으로 하는 현 인터넷 비즈니스 모델에 영향(Impact)으로 작용할 수 있는 요소들을 분석하고, 이로 야기되는 새로운 비즈니스 모델의 출현 및 현 비즈니스 모델의 변화에 대하여 고찰한다. 지능형 에이전트로 인한 현 인터넷 비즈니스 광고모델의 변화 및 새로운 광고모델의 등장 가능성, 인터넷상에서 제공하는 서비스에 대한 가격의 변화, 소비자/공급자간 관계의 변화, 중개업자(Intermediary)의 소멸(Disintermediation)가능성, 각 웹사이트들이 가지는 명성 및 브랜드 효과에 대하여 지능형 에이전트가 끼치는 영향 및 이로 인한 Facilitator의 출현 가능성, 에이전트를 활용한 새로운 서비스 등장으로 인한 현 기업조직 및 전략에 미치는 영향에 대하여 분석하고 그 시사점(Implications)을 도출하였다.

다수의 모듈로 구성된 반응형 시스템을 개발하기 위해 외부의 입력 및 모듈간의 상호작용을 분석하는 것은 중요하고 어려운 문제이며, 반응형 시스템이 요구 사항을 올바르게 만족하는지를 확인하기 위해서는 많은 시간과 비용이 소모가 된다. 본 논문에서는 요구 사항을 LSC(Live Sequence Chart)를 이용해 시나리오 기반 명세 모델을 만들고 Synthesis를 통해 요구 사항을 모두 올바르게 만족하는 시스템 모델을 자동으로 생성한다. 궁극적으로 올바른 시스템 모델로부터 의미적으로 동일한 코드로 변환하는 과정을 보이는 것으로 시나리오 기반 명세 모델로부터 반응형 시스템을 개발하는 방법을 제안한다.

This paper includes a development of a starting time prediction model for a derivative engine. For this derivative engine design, a new map expansion method, Modified Pump Scaling Law(MPS), has been applied and expand the maps to sub-idle range. From loss characteristics of the reference engine, loss models for the derivative engine have been developed considering different pressure, temperature, and engine configurations. Starting time predictions of the derivative engine shows preferable results comparing test results.

외국 기술을 모방하여 그 궤적을 따라가는 추격형 기술혁신모델의 한계가 노정되면서 새로운 기술혁신모델의 필요성이 증대하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 모방에 의거한 추격형 혁신활동을 넘어서는 탈추격형(post catch-up)기술혁신활동의 특성을 조감하는 작업을 수행했다. 특히 분석대상을 중소기업에 맞추어져 이들의 탈추격형 혁신활동 사례를 살펴보았다. 기술집약형 중소기업의 혁신활동의 활성화는 그 자체가 대기업 중심의 한국혁신체제의 전환을 보여주는 의미 있는 현상이기 때문이다.
