연구 성과물에 대한 접근성을 개선함으로써 다른 연구에도 도움을 주어 또 다른 과학적 발명과 발견에 기여할 수 있어야 한다는 오픈 사이언스의 철학이 전세계적으로 설득력을 얻으면서 연구 데이터 공개 및 출판을 위한 사회적 논의도 활발하게 이루어지고 있다. 또한, 지난 몇년 동안 글로벌 표준식별자 개발, 메타데이터 및 인용 방식의 표준화, 데이터 리포지토리 구축 등 연구 데이터 공개 및 출판을 위한 기술이 비약적으로 발전하고 있다. 전통적으로 학술지 논문의 부속 자료로 여겨지던 데이터(연구 데이터)는 이제 다양한 분야에서 논문과는 독립적으로 데이터 리포지토리에 기탁되어 공개되거나 데이터 저널에 출판되기도 한다. 그러나 학술 논문의 출판과는 달리 데이터 출판은 종종 다른 용어와 의미로 정의되기도 하며 분야마다 데이터 출판의 방식과 구현의 정도가 크게 다르다. 본 연구에서는 현재 진행 중인 데이터 공개 및 출판 이니셔티브를 소개하고 데이터의 공적 이용가능성, 문서화, 인용, 식별자 부여, 검증 및 데이터 출판의 단계별 구현 사례를 분석한다. 또한 국내에서 데이터 출판과 관련하여 수행 중인 과제를 검토한다. 마지막으로, 학술 정보 출판과 연구데이터 관리를 도서관의 기능으로 인식하고 출판과 관련한 다양한 관심사를 논의하는 도서관 중심 이니셔티브를 살펴봄으로써 데이터 출판과 관련한 도서관의 역할을 모색하고자 한다.

최근 정보기술의 급속한 발달 따라 사회 전반적인 체제의 정보화 현상으로 개인이나 조직의 활동이 정보와 밀접한 관련성을 가지게 됨으로써 이용자의 정보 수요에 적합한 정보원을 제공하는 매개자의 기능을 수행하고 있는 정보전문가의 역할이 한층 더 부각되고 있다. 이러한 영향이 도서관이나 정보센터의 모든 활동에 파급됨에 따라 정보를 수집, 가공, 분석. 저장 및 전달을 담당하고 있는 정보 전문가는 종래의 문헌중심봉사(book-based service)에서 정보중심봉사(information-based service) 형태로 역할 변환이 요구되고 있다. 특히 주제전문 봉사를 담당하고 있는 사서나 정보전문가는 이러한 정보기술의 파급효과를 더욱 실감하고 있는 실정이다. 이러한 상황에서 본 연구는 첫째, 정보기술의 발달이 사회과학 분야의 정보봉사에 미치는 영향과 효과를 살펴보고. 둘째로 사회과학 분야 정보제공을 위한 정보시스템의 특성 분석과 정보기술을 매체로 이용하고 있는 정보전문가의 정보기술에 대한 인식을 실증적으로 분석하고 있으며, 마지막으로 정보사회에서 다양한 정보제공을 담당할 사회과학 정보전문가의 새로운 역할 모델을 제시하고 있다. 사회과학 분야의 정보제공을 효율적으로 수행하기 위한 정보시스템의 구축은 학제적 성을 지니고 있는 사회과학 전반에 대한 이해와 특성을 파악함으로써 가능하다. 사회과학의 연구대상은 인간 상호작용에 관한 지식의 전반적인 분야를 포괄하고 있어 많은 주제분야가 서로 중복되거나 상호 호환적인 성격을 지니고 있기에. 사회과학 정보시스템이 이용자의 정보요구에 만족을 주기 위해서는 이용자의 유형, 정보요구의 형태 및 그 해결방안에 일차적 관심을 가져야한다. 사회과학 분야의 정보유통 체제를 살펴보면, 대부분 통계자료나 단편적인 데이타로 시작되는 원자료가 사회과학자나 연구자에 의해 "지적 변환(intellectual transformation)" 과정을 거쳐 논문이나 저서 등과 같은 정형화된 문헌의 형태로 나타나게 된다. 정형화된 문헌이 다른 이용자의 요구에 효율적으로 이용되기 위하여 다시 "서지적 변형(bibliographic transformation)" 과정이 수반됨으로써 도서관이나 정보센터의 정보시스템에서 문헌검색이 가능하게 된다. 정보기술의 발달과 보급 이전에는 서지적 변형 단계에서 대부분 정보제공시스템의 역할이 종결되었으나, 최근 정보기술의 활용으로 서지적 변형 후 각종 정보자료의 색인과 초록 및 네트웍 화를 통한 자동화 과정이 이루어짐으로써 이용자의 정보요구에 최대의 만족을 제공할 수 있는 정보자료의 체계적인 분석과 효율적인 통제로 포괄적인 정보관리 차원으로 이전되고 있음을 알 수 있다. 사회과학 분야를 담당하고 있는 사서를 대상으로 실시한 설문조사에서 새로운 정보기술의 활용에 따른 정보전문가의 인지적 혹은 업무 적 변화가 매우 긍정적인 방향으로 뚜렷이 나타나고 있음을 알 수 있다. 정보기술을 이용하고 있는 대부분의 사서들은 정보기술이 그들의 정보봉사 업무를 쉽게, 빠르게. 그리고 정확하게 처리하고 있으며, 새로운 정보기술 습득에 호의적인 반응을 보이고 있다. 아울러 정보기술의 이용에 따른 추가적인 책임이나 의무가 수반되고 있는 것으로 나타나고 있으며, 정보기술이 정보전문가의 역할을 완전히 대체할 정도로 위협을 느끼고 있지는 않는 것으로 조사되고 있다. 종합적인 반응은 대부분의 사서들이 정보 봉사 업무에 정보기술의 활용을 매우 바람직한 것으로 보고 있으며. 이용자 요구를 극대화하기 위한 정보관리에 필수불가결 한 도구로 인식하고 있다. 과거의 유능한 사서나 정보전문가는 자관의 정보원에 대한 철저한 이해로 이용자의 요구에 봉사하는 것으로 간주되었으나, 현재 그리고 미래의 유능한 정보전문가는 자관은 물론 국가적 혹은 세계적인 정보원에 접근할 수 있는 정보원 관리 능력은 물론 정보기술의 활용과 이용자에 대한 교육적 능력을 동시에 지녀야 할 것으로 여겨진다. 이러한 관점에서 사회과학 분야의 정보제공을 담당하고 있는 정보전문가의 새로운 역할을 크게 이용자 보조 역할, 주제전문가 역할. 시스템 전문가 역할, 그리고 정보원 관리자 역할로 구분할 수 있다.

The purpose of this study is to empirically analyze the impact of library service quality on the continuous use of libraries by international students and to verify that library anxiety plays a mediator role between the two variables - 'library service quality' and 'continuous use intention'. To conduct this study, library service quality, continuous use intention, and library anxiety of 213 Chinese international students was measured and the hypothesis through structural equation modeling was verified. The result of the study suggests that library service quality has an impact on continuous use intention and that library anxiety mediates the two variables. Based on the research result, the development of library service for international students was discussed.

This study has introduced folksonomy to general patterns of folksonomy tags for the university libraries that have practically implemented Library 2.0. From the results, we can see that average about 1.35 tag is used for one content. Typical pattern of the tags follow a power function that frequency of use decreases as No. of uses increases, 79.51% of tags are expressing topic of contents, and 84.61% of tags are tag of social motivation. The results of analysis on increase/decrease rate for tags divided into 4 quarters said that A university library has big differences from quarters while B university library has similar data between quarters. The users have used average 5.25 tags. Trends of the users can be divided into 3 groups according to tagging patterns of the users.

The purpose of this paper is to study to the nature and function of scientific inquiry and research methods, particularly as they apply to the influencing factors in library schools. For the variables used, they are the average cost per student for training, the total percentage placement in library and library-related work, the average salary for year, and the type of schools. In interpreting data using, t -test analysis of correlation and regression are applied.

Convergence is an important concept for driving our society to be ubiquitous. The objectives of this paper are to conceptualize information convergence, and to analyze its mechanisms from the view of ubiquitous library circumstances. Further, this paper suggests mobile Web 2.0 as a library supporting technology for information convergence and some kinds of mobile based library user services using mobile Web 2.0 applications.

종래에는 중국이나 일본에 관한 연구에 종속되어 부가적인 것으로 취급되어 오던 한국학이 한국의 선진 공업국화와 경제적인 국제 지위의 향상에 힘입 어 한국 연구가 세계적으로 활발히 진행되고 있다. 이제 본고를 통해 서방국 가 중에서는 한국 연구에 가장 앞서 있다고 할 수 있는 미국에서의 한국학 의 발달 과정을 살펴보고 한국학에 종사하는 학자.전문인들의 단체에는 어떤 것이 존재하며, 또한 이들 전문인들의 공식적 커뮤니케이션 경로로서의 1차 학술잡지, 단행본, 총서, 박사학위 논문 등의 현황을 구체적으로 고찰하였다. 또한 한국학을 연구하는 학자.전문인들의 연구의 결실이라고 할수 있는 1차 자료들이 정보의 재생산과 효과적인 정보 활용을 위해 서지적인 통정이 조 직적으로 이루어지고 있는가를 고찰하기 위하여 현존하는 연구안내서, 서지, 그리고 한국관계 자료를 소장하고 있는 미국의 저명한 도서관과 그 도서관 에서 발행하고 있거나 이미 발행한 장소목록 등을 구체적으로 상술하였다. 본 연구를 통해 첫째, 미국에서의 한국학은 한국의 정치, 경제, 사회, 역사등 사회과학 분야에서는 강세를 보이고 있으나, 회화, 조각, 무용, 민속 그리고 종교와 같은 인문과학 분야에서의 한국학은 매우 미미한 것임을 알수 있었 다. 둘째로, 미국의 한국학 관계자료의 서지적 통정면에서는 현행서지와 초 록 서비스는 거의 부재의 상태임이 드러났다. 따라서 한국학 관계자료의 신 속한 접근을 위한 현행서지나 색인서비스가 이루어져야 한다는 것이 밝혀졌 다고 하겠다.

The concept of the sharing economy, which has shifted the economic paradigm from possession to access to resources, is consistent with the traditional and current roles of public libraries. Thus, this research empirically analyzed the influence relationships between public library use and the sharing economy. Results showed that participation in public library programs serves as a motivational factor for satisfaction with and trust in the sharing economy, while the use of public library facilities and equipment is correlated with attitudes toward and participation in the sharing economy. The use of library collections positively influences sharing intangible resources such as knowledge, information, and personal experience. By contrast, checking out library resources negatively influences the recognition of economic benefits from sharing, which is contrary to claims of library communities. Based on these results, public libraries should aim to have a complementary effect on the sharing economy founded not only on information networks but also human networks grounded in social relationships.

Public library users' perception of librarians can be an important aspect in improving the public library uses and the quality of informn services. Thus it is necessary to identify what factors affect users' perceptions of librarians. This research empirically investigated users' general perceptions of librarians and the factors affecting them through a survey. As a result, it was found that the use of library collections, library facilities, and participation in club activities through the library affect the formation of a positive perception of librarians. In addition, the roles of the librarian are expanding from informational activities to supporting social activities. In contrast, the factors of direct interaction with the librarian, including participation in public library programs, circulating library collections, and communication with librarian, do not have a significant effect on the formation of the perception of librarian. Thus librarians need to consider library users more substantially and to support them in various ways.

The purpose of this study is to re-approach the concept of data literacy, to describe the differences with other literacies along with the redefined concept of data literacy. Also, it is tried to find out why and how to use data literacy for library and information services. Research has shown that data literacy plays a central role in interacting with other literacy concepts, and should be understood as a data-driven problem-solving ability that is essential for the future human society. Based on these concept definitions, we propose the application of data literacy to library information service in terms of education service and research support service. In this study, data literacy is defined as the ability to utilize data needed by users in a data - based society, is to explain why data literacy is the ability to utilize data for users in modern society by distinguishing differences from other literacy. This concludes with a discussion and proposal on what library information services can be implemented.
