Determination of levee risk using remote sensing by analysis correlation between levee displacement and hydrological parameters (원격탐사를 이용한 하천 제방 위험도 판별: 제방 변위와 수문학적 요인의 관계 분석)

  • 최근 기후변화와 하천 제방의 노후화로 인해 수재해 위험이 지속적으로 증가하고 있다. 그러나 기존의 재래적인 하천 제방의 점검은 많은 인력과 예산 소모로 비효율적이며 제방 전구간 점검의 한계, 객관성의 한계 등 많은 한계점들이 존재하여 효과적인 홍수 대응을 위해 새로운 모니터링과 예/경보 시스템의 구축이 반드시 필요한 상황이다. 따라서 본 연구는 인공위성을 이용한 하천 제방 변위 산출과 수문학적 요인과의 관계 분석을 통해 하천 제방 건강상태 모니터링 시스템 방안을 제안하고자 한다. Sentinel-1 SAR 영상과 유럽 우주국(ESA)의 위성 영상 전처리 도구인 SNAP을 이용하여 2020년 여름 붕괴된 남원시의 금곡교 제방의 봄(4~5월), 여름(7~8월)의 변위를 산출하였고, 제방의 위험도 산정을 위해 토양수분관계를 분석하였다. 선행 연구(김상우,2019)에서는 농촌진흥청에서 제공하는 TDR(Time Domain Reflectrometry) 관측값과 Sentinel-1 SAR의 후방 산란계수의 토양수분관계가 일치하는 경향을 제시하여, 본 연구에서는 이를 이용하여 제방 후 방산란계수를 산출하고 변위와 토양수분도의 상관관계를 분석하여 변위 추세와 토양수분도의 추세가 일치하는 경향을 확인하였다. 본 연구 결과를 통해 향후에는 위성을 이용하여 산출한 제방의 변위와 토양수분도의 불확실성을 보완하고 기온, 수위, 토양도, 지하수위와 같은 수문기상학적 데이터의 분석을 통해 초정밀, 자동화 하천 제방 건강상태 모니터링 시스템이 구현 가능할 것으로 기대한다.

  • Estimation of passive earth pressure is an important factor in anchor block, temporary retaining wall and support block of raker that resist lateral earth pressure. In practice, due to ease of use, it is common to estimate the earth pressure using the theory of Coulomb and Rankine, which assumes the failure plane as a straight line. However, the passive failure plane generated by friction between the wall surface and the soil forms a complex failure plane: a curve near the wall and a flat plane near the ground surface. In addition, the limit displacement where passive earth pressure is generated is larger compared to where the active earth pressure is generated. Thus, it is essential to calculate the passive earth pressure that occurs at the allowable displacement range in order to apply the passive earth pressure to the design for structural stability reasons. This study analyzed the mobilized passive earth pressured to various displacement ranges within the passive limit displacement range using the semi-empirical method considering the complex failure plane.

  • This study evaluated the effect of vibration, level of lateral yielding strength, site conditions, ductility factor, strain-hardening ratio, and post-capping ratio of the strength limited bilinear SDF systems on the inelastic displacement ratio. The nonlinear response history analysis was conducted using 240 ground motions which were collected at the sites classified as site classes B, C, and D according to the NEHRP. To account for the P-$\Delta$ effects, this study considered negative stiffness ratios ranging from -0.1 to -0.5 of elastic stiffness. Four different damping ratios are used: 2, 5, 10, and 20%. From this study, an equation of inelastic displacement ratio was proposed using nonlinear regression analysis.

  • An assesment technique for the quantitative evaluation of tunnel safety during tunnel excavation was newly proposed in this study using displacement measurements. First of all, field measurement guidelines used at tunnel construction sites in Korea and other countries were investigated. It was found out that the criteria of the guidelines were not clear and varied depending on the construction sites. The practical use of field measurement data for the evaluation of tunnel safety was very limited due to uncertainties of the guidelines related to the interpretation of measured data during the excavation. Critical strain concept is introduced in this study for the assesment of tunnel safety during the tunnel excavation. Moreover, the characteristics of tunnel displacements caused by the tunnel excavation were investigated in detail in order to investigate the practical application of the critical strain concept. The total tunnel displacements can be subdivided into three parts: displacements occurring ahead of tunnel face, displacements occurring prior to measurements, and displacements occurring after the installation of instruments. The characteristic of each portion of displacements is analysed in this study. Finally, a general method on the use of the displacement measurement data for the critical strain concept was suggested in the concrete manner, considering the field measurement practice in Korea.

  • This paper intends to develop an assesment technique for the rapid and quantitative evaluation of tunnel safety during tunnel excavation by using displacement measurements. Control criteria for the field measurements are provided at tunnel construction sites in Korea and other countries. However, it was known that the criteria were not clear and varied depending on the construction sites. In order to make a reasonable support for guidelines, critical strain concept is introduced in this study. And the engineering meanings of the critical strain concept are investigated precisely. In order to do this, at first, the engineering meanings of the original concept from the previous researchers was investigated theoretically for the evaluation of tunnel safely. Subsequently displacement data were obtained by using the commercial program, then the evaluation of tunnel safely was conducted with the view point of previous researches. Additionally, strains are determined from the feedback analyses program by inputting measured displacements that were obtained from the commercial program, then the evaluation of tunnel safety was discussed with the critical strain concept. Consequently it can be concluded that the evaluation of tunnel safety can be determined quantitatively and rapidly in the field by introducing the critical strain concept.

동적반복하중을 받는 R/C 부재의 해석모델에 관한 최근 연구 동향

  • 현재까지의 철근콘크리트(R/C)부재의 이력거동을 예측하기 위한 이론적 연구는 대부분이 휨 변위량이 전체 변위량을 지배한다는 가정하에 휨 해석을 행하고 있다. 그러나 지진과 같은 탄성한계를 벗어난 강한 동적반복하중을 받는 경우 철근 콘크리트 부재의 변위량은 휨 변위량 뿐만 아니라 전단 변위량 및 부재연결부에서의 회전 변위량에 의해 지배됨이 많은 연구를 통해 밝혀졌다. 전단이력거동은 강성과 강도저하가 심하게 나타나고 낮은 에너지 발산능력을 갖는 특징에 의해 휨 이력거동과는 구별되며 반복하중이 계속되면 강성이 저하되는 경향때문에 전단변형이 R/C부재의 거동을 지배하게 된다. 이러한 부재거동의 특징에 견주어 볼 때 현재 사용되고 있는 해석모델을 이용하여 동적응답을 예측하고, 해석하여 설계된 기존의 R/C부재는 강한 동적하중을 받을 경우 해석적으로는 전혀 예측치 못하게 되는 결과를 초래하게 된다.

Experimental study on the longitudinal load transfer of a shallow tunnel depending on the deformation tunnel face (II) (얕은 터널의 굴진면 변형에 따른 종방향 하중전이 특성에 대한 실험적 연구(II))

  • In recent years, the use of underground spaces becomes more frequent and the demands for urban tunnels are rapidly increasing. The urban tunnels constructed in the ground with a shallow and soft cover might be deformed in various forms on the face, which would lead, the tunnels to behavior 3-dimensionally, which may have a great impact on the longitudinal load transfer. The tunnel face might deform in various forms depending on the construction method, overburden and the heterogeneity of the ground. And accordingly, the type and size of the distribution of the load transferred to the ground adjacent to the tunnel face as well as the form of the loosened ground may appear in various ways depending on the deformation form of the tunnel face. Therefore, in this study was conducted model tests by idealizing the deformation behavior of the tunnel face, that were constant deformation, the maximum deformation on the top and the maximum deformation on the bottom. And the test results were analyzed focusing on the deformation of the face and the longitudinal load transfer at the ground above the tunnel. As results, it turned out that the size and the distribution type of the load, which was transferred to the tunnel as well as the earth pressure on the face were affected by the deformation type of the face. The largest load was transferred to the tunnel when the deformation was in a constant form. Less load was transferred when the maximum deformation on the bottom, and the least load was transferred when the maximum deformation on the top. In addition, it turned out that, if the cover became more shallow, a longitudinal load transfer in the tunnel would limited to the region close to the face; however, if the cover became higher than a certain value, the area of the load transfer would become wider.

  • 본 논문에서는 4차 산업에서 필요로 하는 스마트 기기의 소형 및 저전력 부품에 사용되는 센싱 플랫폼을 제안하였다. 특히 스마트팩토리의 공장 자동화와 정밀 측정의 핵심 부품인 리니어 모션 가이드(LM Guide)를 고정밀, 고정도로 제어할 수 있는 센싱 시스템을 개발하였다. 이를 위하여 기존의 변위 센서 기법의 한계를 극복할 수 있도록 와전류(Eddy Current) 기법을 이용함으로써 LC 공진기와 전도체를 LM 가이드에 장착할 수 있도록 구현하였다. 또한 미세 인덕턴스 값을 측정할 수 있도록 디지털 신호처리 기술과 컴퓨터/산술 기술을 FPGA를 이용한 HW 시스템을 제작하여 구현함으로써 실험을 진행했다. 본 논문에서 구현한 HW 센싱 시스템을 이용하여 LM 가이드를 동작시킴으로 실시간으로 변위 값을 디스플레이 부로 출력되어 측정이 가능하고, 변위 값의 분해능과 응답속도 면에서 우수함을 확인할 수 있다.

  • CCTV cameras are used for surveillance and purposes of security, and can also be applied for monitoring infrastructure and equipment. In the Cut Slope Management System managed by KICT (Korea Institute of Construction Technology), cut slopes are continuously monitored using a real-time system, with CCTV cameras installed at 119 sites to detect slope activity. Here we compare CCTV images with displacement at three sites and perform a quantitative analysis. Methods for improving CCTV camera management and systems are also discussed with regard to communication, obstacles, and nighttime management.

  • Inclinometer has several problems of 1)difficulty installing inclinometer casing, 2) measuring 2D local lateral displacement of retaining wall, 3) measurement by manpower. To solve such problems, a 2D LiDAR sensor-based retaining wall displacement measurement system was developed in previous studies. The purpose of this study is to select a displacement analysis algorithm to be applied in the retaining wall displacement measurement system. As a result of the displacement analysis algorithm selection, the M3C2 (Multiple Model to Model Cloud Comparison) algorithm with a displacement estimation error of 2mm was selected as the displacement analysis algorithm. If the M3C2 algorithm is applied in the system and the reliability of the displacement analysis result is secured through several field experiments. Convenient management of the displacement for the retaining wall is possible in comparison with the current measurement management.
