Education Content Service Platform Using the Near Field Communication based on IoT (IoT 기반의 근거리 통신 기술을 활용한 교육콘텐츠 서비스 플랫폼)

  • Conventional one-way cramming education at schools has the disadvantage of poor student interest in learning, immersion, and learning efficiency as well as a limitation in realizing collective intelligence and collaborative learning. Therefore, an educational content service platform using a near-field communication(NFC) technology is required as a tool for encouraging the voluntary learning participation of students and increasing learning effectiveness through self-directed studying. This study focuses on the development of an educational content production system that creates high-quality education contents suitable for smart schools. In these schools, students and teachers generally communicate through an electronic blackboard using Bluetooth, which is an NFC technology. Further, the lecture notes of individual students are reproduced and collected as big data, which will facilitate the sharing of these notes.

  • 정보 통신 기술의 발달은 전산화, 정보화, 지식 정보화 과정을 거쳐 현재 차세대 패더다임인 유비쿼터스화 단계에 이르렀다. 시간과 장소에 구애받지 않고 언제 어디서나 창의적이고 효율적인 학습자 중심의 교육환경을 제공할 수 있는 u-러닝 기술은 7차 교육과정 수행과 함께 필수적인 요소로 부각되고 있다. 최근 교육과정이 u-러닝 환경으로의 변화에 따라 교수 학습 체계 역시 변화가 예상된다. 그리고 ICT를 활용한 교수 학습 모형과 교과별 콘텐츠에 대한 개발이 활발한 이유도 현재 u-러닝이 적극 추진되면서 교육환경에 대한 새로운 요구와 필요성이 증대되고 있기 때문이다. 따라서 교육환경인 u-러닝 시대에 맞추어 교과목에 대한 교수-학습 모형 연구가 이루어 져야 할 것이다. 본 연구에서는 선행 연구된 학습모형을 비교, 분석하여 유비쿼터스와 u-러닝에 대한 특성과 기능, 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 기술에 대해 고찰한다. 그리고 기존 컴퓨터 교과 분석을 통하여 컴퓨터교과의 중요성과 교육방법 영역, 컴퓨터교과 교수-학습 모형에 대한 연구를 통해 u-러닝 환경에서의 컴퓨터 교육을 위한 프로젝트 기반 교수-학습 모형을 설계하고 구현한다.

A Study on Core Competencies of Science-Gifted Students Based on Teachers' and Students' Perspectives (과학영재에게 요구되는 핵심역량에 대한 교사와 학생 인식)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate core competencies of science-gifted students based on teachers' and students' perceptions. Based on a literature review and focus group interview, 16 core competencies of science-gifted students were drawn. The results of this study were as follows. First, there are significant differences in self-control, self-directed learning, knowledge in one's academic area, research, English, writing, leadership, communication skill, cooperation, and spirit of services between teachers and students. Second, teachers perceived self-directed learning, thinking skills, interests in one's academic area, motivation as the most important core competencies among the 16. Also, teachers perceived the educational program to raise self-control, cooperation and self-directed learning. Further discussion was reviewed.

  • 본 논문에서는 카메라-투영 시스템에서 비전에 기반을 둔 손동작 인식을 위한 새로운 알고리즘을 제안하고 있다. 제안된 인식방법은 정적인 손동작 분류를 위하여 푸리에 변환을 사용하였다. 손분할은 개선된 배경 제거 방법을 사용하였다. 대부분의 인식방법들이 같은 피검자에 의해 학습과 실험이 이루어지고 상호작용에 이전에 학습단계가 필요하다. 그러나 학습되지 않은 다양한 상황에 대해서도 상호작용을 위해 동작 인식이 요구된다. 그러므로 본 논문에서는 인식 작업 중에 검출된 불완전한 동작들을 정정하여 적용하였다. 그 결과 사용자와 독립되게 동작을 인식함으로써 새로운 사용자에게 신속하게 온라인 적용이 가능하였다.

초등학생의 논리적 사고력 및 문제해결 능력 향상을 위한 컴퓨터 프로그래밍 교육과정 모델 제안 - 재량.특별활동시간에 비주얼베이직언어를 중심으로 -

  • 7차교육과정에서의 초등 컴퓨터교육은 재량활동시간 또는 특별활동시간에 단순한 응용프로그램(워드프로세서, 엑셀, 파워포인트 등)을 활용하거나 인터넷을 이용한 정보검색 수준이다. 따라서, 문제해결 능력이나 논리적 사고력을 향상시키는데는 미흡하다. 인지능력이 뛰어난 초등학교 5, 6학년에는 이러한 컴퓨터 활용방법 교육보다 컴퓨터 기초원리 또는 프로그래밍교육이 필요하다. 본 논문은 프로그래밍교육을 재량 특별활동 시간에 학년별(5, 6학년) 또는 통합학년으로 학습할 수 있게 프로그래밍교육과정 60차시 분을 개발하여 제안하였다. 개발한 교육과정은 교수 및 학습자의 요구사항을 최대한 반영하기 위해 설문조사 등을 통해 얻은 기초자료를 참조하였다. 제안한 교육과정이 초등학교 5, 6학년에 적합하고 우수한지를 검토하기 위해 일부 차시의 교육과정으로 5, 6학년을 대상으로 재량활동시간에 직접 교수 학습한 후 자기평가, 설문조사를 실시하였다. 결과로 제안한 교육과정이 적합성과 우수성이 있다고 판단되었다.

  • A design which would let its users optimize their learning experiences accordingly to the diversification of learning platforms is needed. Especially with the expansion of mobile learning, a heuristic evaluation was used to evaluate the usability in order to provide learners with various learning methods and experiences according to the unique characteristics a mobile possesses. Therefore, we could conclude that systematic factors like information display, intuitiveness and conciseness do have a significant effect on users' attitudes.

Information Sharing and Group Learing Using Electronic Communication Media (전자매체를 통한 정보공유와 공동학습)

  • With the introduction of Internet-based education such as online learning and virtual campuses. there are increased interests and demands for electronically delivering educational contents in comparison to the traditional educational methods. Our preilminary study showed that approximately $50\%$ of virtual groups formed online for the scope of collaborative learning encountered harriers that prevented them from forming an effective learning team and making satisfactory progress toward reaching the learning objectives. In this study, we asked the undergraduate students. who were the members of the online learning team, to work on the given discussion topics through the use of emails and threaded discussion boards. Then. we investigated the roles played by two electronic communication medium during the virtual discussion with respect to the learning outcome. We also studied how information was shared amongst the virtual learning team members. The results of our study showed that the email based online learning had the advantage of individualized and friendly information transfer. However. it also caused certain difficulty in exchanging ideas due to the one-sided nature of the email-based communication. On the other hand, the threaded discussion board provided easier information sharing and broadcasting. which enabled active participation by the virtual team members. However. It also had the disadvantage of difficulty in accurate information conveyance and duplication of the posted information. In summary, our study results showed that there was a high correlation between the characteristics of the electronic communication medium and the decision that the online learners made regarding which medium to use. There was a high correlation between the type of the electronic communication medium and the online learners' experiences in using these media.

An Exploratory Research on Learning Competency based Personalized Learning in K University (K대학의 역량기반 맞춤형 학습 지원을 위한 탐색적 연구)

  • With the advent of the knowledge-based era of the fourth industrial revolution, a paradigm shifts in university education. As a complete overhaul of university educational methods is required, strengthening competence through personalized is emerging as one of the solutions to the problem. To provide appropriate education accordingly focusing on individual learners, more studies at various levels are needed about understanding the characteristics of learners and ways to support them at universities. This study aims to conduct an exploratory research for adapting personalized learning at K University and explore effective ways to support. First, through literature review, the theoretical basis of personalized learning considering the diverse characteristics of learners and domestic and overseas cases of are examined. Secondly, a pilot study is conducted with K University students as subjects. FGI, study style diagnosis, one-on-one follow-up interviews are conducted and competency-based learning performance analysis and study style diagnosis result paper are provided to selected participants. Finally, major issues and implications are suggested to support the effective personalized learning of K university students.

Needs Analysis and Recognition of Classroom Operation of Nursing Teacher in Vocational High School (특성화고 간호과 교사들의 수업운영에 대한 인식 및 요구분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine how the nursing teacher in vocational high school operates the class and examine various perceptions about the operation education. Moreover, This is to comparing the difference between nursing experience and education major about the operation the class. Based on the above findings, First, the nursing teacher should be recognized as a professional subject teacher and should have a qualification system that is appropriate as a professional subject teacher. Second, a formal education program should be established so that those who worked in the nursing field can become teachers of nursing education. It is recommended that nursing education within the graduate school of education be newly established and operated only for nursing graduates who are majored in the same country as developed countries. Third, if the establishment of qualifications and qualifications system can not be realized in a short time, it is necessary to systematically prepare the training for specialization nursing teachers only.

A Study on the Classification of Student's Bluffing on Geographical Terms (지리 용어에 대한 학습자의 블러핑(Bluffing) 유형에 관한 연구)

  • This study aims to explore 'bluffing', one of the most important topics in order to ensure the objectivity, validity, reliability of scoring of constructed-response items. The author identifies the conception of bluffing, and classifies major types of bluffing on the basis of previous studies on the theoretical level. Next, the author analyzes empirically the bluffing strategies and types of learners on key terms of Korean Geography subject. Compared with the existing research reports, the result of this study shows a significantly lower average bluffing score. On the other hand, it is consistent in results of previous studies reported that average bluffing score is similar between genders and that those students who got highest grades did least bluffing. Actually bluffing types are classified into four categories: 'repeating the question' type, 'depending on a well-known or existing knowledge' type, 'applying some basic concepts regardless of understanding' type, and 'inducing scorer's basic beliefs' type. Some comments and suggestions are as follows. First, it is necessary to continue researches of the relations among bluffing and age, gender, grade, intelligence and learning styles. Second, it is required for scorers who score constructed-response items to develop and supply the scoring guide including analysis contents of bluffing types and cases, and increase opportunity for training. Third, we need to inquire the domain-specific bluffing types in geography subject based on the generalizable sample size.
