This study aims to verify how the characteristics of organizational supporting unit affect the effectiveness of company-wide HRD Education & Training program. To achieve this objective, we performed an empirical analysis, with the characteristics of organizational supporting unit comprising supervisor's support, job support, and company support as independent variables, and with the level of reaction stage, learning stage, transfer stage, and result stage as dependent variables. Empirical data was collected during the period from August 16, 2011 to September 9, 2011 by sending out questionnaires to employees of 5 securities firms listed on KOSDAQ where online and offline education & training program is running year-round with headquarter in Seoul. A total of 340 questionnaires were sent out three times for the survey, and total of 164 questionnaires were sampled for the final analysis. According to the outcome of the analysis, regarding the first hypothesis that tries to reveal how the characteristics affect the level of reaction stage, it is verified that all of supervisor's support, job support and company support have positive impact on the level of reaction stage with p value less than 0.01. In regard to the second hypothesis that tries to see how the characteristics affect the level of learning stage, it is confirmed that supervisor's support, job support and company support have significant impact on the level of learning stage with p value less than 0.05 or 0.01, respectively. Concerning the third hypothesis that aims to investigate how the characteristics affect the level of transfer stage, it is appeared that all of supervisor's support, job support and company support have positive impact on the level of transfer stage. And lastly, as for the fourth hypothesis that tries to see how the characteristics affect the level of result stage, it is analyzed that supervisor's support, job support and company support have positive impact on the level of result stage with p value less than 0.01. This study reconfirm the outcomes of previous research, which is that the effectiveness of company-wide education & training program depends not only on the contents and quality of education & training program, but also more importantly on the role of organizational supporting unit, and the working environment where what is learned in classroom can be applied to real business. Companies or experts that run education & training program in real world should recognize that the performance of training is dependent more significantly on the characteristics of organizational supporting unit rather than the design or features of education & training program.
There is a paucity of research on socialization of novice teachers that has been found to have influence on their career through studies in different subject fields in various regions. This study addresses how novice English teachers perceive their socialization at the first years. It aims to draw implications for novice teacher support for training and professional development. Data were obtained from a questionnaire survey. From the review of the relevant literature, six themes were identified as significant factors in novice teachers' socialization process: relationship with pupils, teaching, rapport with colleagues, support from headteachers, relationship with parents, and expectations from the society. There were 44 questions under six key factors. 99 secondary English novice teachers participated in the survey. The analysis of the gathered responses to each question reveals information on their socialization process to become a secondary English teacher including adaptation challenges for professional development, which have been neglected but are gaining more attention from different stakeholders. This is being increasingly supported in the time of the coronavirus (COIVD-19) pandemic crisis, disruption and recovery. The study is concluded with some implications for research on novice teacher induction, and teacher education policy and practice.

In this study, the multimedia CAl program for chemical equilibrium in high school grade 3 was developed and the effect of CAl on achievement and attitude toward chemistry instruction and computer was investigated. Before instruction, the test of attitudes toward chemistry instruction and computer were administered, and the grade in the mid-term examination was obtained. These scores were used as covariates. Mid-term science score was used as blocking variable. For chemical equilibrium instruction, traditional and computer assisted instruction were used. After instruction, the achievement test and the test of attitudes toward science instruction and computer were administered. The results indicated that students in the treatment group achieved significantly better than those in the control group, but did not show improvement of attitude to chemistry instruction and computer compared to those in the control group. No significant interaction between the treatment and the level of students' prior achievement was found. Female achieved significantly better under CAl than under traditional instruction. In two subtests(understanding and application), treatment group achieved better in the subtest of application than control group. CAl had an effect on chemical equilibrium state (about reversibility) significantly. While female of the treatment group did not show more positive attitude toward both chemistry instruction and computer significantly than that of the control group, male showed more positive attitude significantly. Educational implications are discussed.
The purpose of this study was to confirm how the students have responded to their class according to STEB (science teaching efficacy belief) of secondary science teacher in astronomy classes. Middle school teachers in charge of 'The Solar System' and 'The Exosphere and Space Development' in the 2009 Revision Science Curriculum content system is selected as an object of study through random sampling method. Twenty-nine teachers were taken STEB questionnaire and asked to make it out. Twenty-seven completed a questionnaire of them is selected for this study. In addition, the top and bottom 5% selected through frequency analysis with the total score from the questionnaire were regarded as high and low STEB teachers. For data collection, this study was used methods such as semi-structured interviews, recording, participant observation. The results were as follows: First, science teachers of high STEB had a high accessibility about excellent professional knowledge and content of the curriculum relating to astronomical field. Second, high STEB teachers were prepared by the appropriate teaching strategies adequate to student-centered learning, whereas the low STEB teachers totally have had teacher-centered learning. Third, high STEB teachers had been provided as the idea that you can take advantage of a variety of instruments, as well as scientific knowledge through the Astronomical Society. Therefore, confidence in astronomical class and teaching strategies through content of the curriculum were very important variables to predict the STEB as well as astronomy-related class activities such as astronomical observations.
This study organizational commitment and performance certification could affect vocational trainees for general characteristics of the demographic analysis, and variables according to the learned the difference between organizational commitment, and the result was as follows. First, in males than in females, ages 20s high school education level and marital status were higher in the unmarried than married. Second, vocational training pathways and variance analysis on age 20 in 16 patients (31.4%), 30, 14 (27.5%), 40 (33.3), 50 3 patients (5.9%), 60 1 (2.0%) and were followed in the order of 5-6 hours for a long time trainees prefer to be educated, and female than in male emotional and normative commitment to organizational commitment in the show were high. Ages 40 and an organizational commitment in their 20s and 50s was higher than 30. Qualifications and training satisfaction satisfaction appeared to influence normative commitment certification training influences organizational commitment. This study analyzed the influence of cultural empathy and analysis on the cultural sensitivity and understanding of multicultural education and the relationship between the attitudes and cultural empathy and understanding of multicultural education and the multicultural sensibility and attitudes of pre-service early childhood teachers. We conducted a survey on cultural sensitivity, multicultural education and understanding attitude among Early Childhood Education College and enrolled 165 infants with pre teachers in pre-service early childhood teachers who are able to sympathize with cultural areas of the Y. The data were subjected to Pearson correlation analysis with multiple regression analysis performed using the SPSS 21.0 program. From the data analysis, first, cultural empathy and multicultural sensitivity showed a significant positive correlation with understanding and attitudes of multicultural education pre-service early childhood teachers. Second, cultural empathy of the pre-service early childhood teachers was a significant variable for predicting the susceptibility multicultural, multicultural education and understanding attitude. Since cultural empathy can change according to various factors, future investigation of these factors is needed to increase the cultural sensitivity of pre-service early childhood teachers by conducting follow-up studies that apply these findings to educational programs. Cultural empathy shouldn't be limited to multicultural education or simply a means to access the field of experiencing the arts, but should be expanded to include research in teaching and learning on how cultural empathy can be applied to the overall educational curriculum.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the characteristics of teacher librarians' efficacy and to propose some ways to enhance their efficacy. To do this, questionnaires on 30 teacher librarians who participated in the level 1 certification program of K university in 2018 were conducted. The results showed that their average efficacy was 3.38, the efficacy of teaching method was 3.60, the collective efficacy was 3.38, and the personal efficacy was 3.18. They had high personal efficacy on classroom management, the willingness to lead poor students and the possibility of problem student guidance, and collective efficacy on conflict management with fellow teachers and parents. On the other hand, personal efficacy in problem analysis and guidance for problem students, difficult contents and course instruction were low. Also, the collective efficacy of the conflict between the manager and the education office was low. They have a strong willingness to improve teaching methods for students and showed high efficacy about student synchronization and preparation for teaching. However, they were aware of the lack of learning skills and the lack of various teaching methods. The variables influencing their efficacy were graduation, education level, school size, and degree. Especially, the higher the education level, the more confident and enthusiastic about teaching problemmatic students and disadvantaged students. In addition, teacher librarians with high academic standards showed high confidence in conflict resolution with peers and parents and teaching methods. The improvement direction to enhance their efficacy in this study are increasing the ratio of teacher education in the field of education, reforming teacher librarians training before appointment, establishing supervision organizations for school libraries and improving their professionalism by going to graduate school.

This study investigated the perceptions of chemistry teachers regarding the use of AI in education, focusing on their stages of concern, expected effects, and factors impeding implementation. Data were collected through a survey of 79 chemistry teachers who participated in first-grade teacher qualification training in 2024. The stages of concern were analyzed both overall and individually, and differences in stages of concern based on background variables were examined using the Kruskal-Wallis H test. The expected effects were measured across seven aspects, with differences were analyzed using repeated measures ANOVA and the Bonferroni method. Factors impeding implementation were analyzed through keyword analysis, focusing on internal and external factors. The results showed that overall concern was relatively low, with informational concern (Stage 1) and unconcerned (Stage 0) being high at 35.4% and 34.2%, respectively. Among active teachers, significant differences in stages of concern were observed depending on whether they had training experience (p<.05). The expected effects of AI in education showed significant statistical differences across the seven aspects (p<.05). Teachers rated 'providing diverse learning experiences' as the highest effect, while 'enhancing understanding of scientific concepts', 'improving scientific inquiry skills', and 'cultivating scientific literacy' were rated relatively low (p<.05). Internal factors were found to impede implementation more than external factors, with key internal factors including 'resistance to change', 'lack of capability', and 'teachers' negative perceptions of AI in education'. Based on these findings, recommendations were made to enhance the implementation of AI in educational settings.

While the large-scale retirement of the second baby boomers is predicted, new beginnings such as re-employment and start-up of prospective retirees who attempt to switch careers before and after retirement based on the skills and expertise accumulated in the industrial field are very important in terms of society. Therefore, this study established a research model based on Shapero's start-up event model, a representative theory explaining start-up intention and behavior. In the direct variable affecting the start-up motivation of prospective retirees, factors affecting positive (+) and negative (-) factors In order to comprehensively grasp it, family support and the burden of failure were set as parameters to verify the effect of these factors on the intention to start a business. As a result, a positive (+) influence relationship was found on the effect of the retiree's start-up motivation on the burden of failure, the start-up motivation on the family support, the start-up motivation on the start-up intention, and the family support on the start-up intention. It was found that the start-up motivation had a positive (+) effect on the start-up intention through family support. In other words, for prospective retirees, who are mainly middle-aged, the threshold for start-up has been very low due to technological advances, but nevertheless, family support was found to be a very important factor in the conditions of investing retirement funds and capital, which are important in family relationships. However, it was confirmed that the burden of failure had a negative (-) effect on the start-up intention, and the loss of investment and fear of repayment of the loan appeared as a large burden. Accordingly, it is proposed that prospective retirees who are considering starting a business be able to thoroughly prepare for a start-up through the support of their families, and to operate a specialized outplacement start-up education program that can learn about raising funds and efficient management of funds. It is expected to systematically support retirees' preparation for start-ups, reduce the burden of failure, and ultimately increase the likelihood of a successful start-up.

The purpose of this study is to provide basic resources to the first-grade Home Economics Regular Teacher Qualification Program (FGHERTQP) in order to improve its operation plans. For the study, the three methods were carried out: an analysis on the curricula of FGHERTQP over six years since 2000, a questionnaire asking their satisfaction degrees and needs on the programs which was answered by the home economics teachers who were the participants of FGHERTQP, and several statistical analyses such as a descriptive-test, a $X^2$-test, a t-test, and one way ANOVA by using SPSS Win ver 10.0. The results of the study were as follows; Firstly, FGHERTQP has been operated ten times by five training centers during resent six years. Subject matters ($1{\sim}7$), whole numbers of lectures ($11{\sim}29$), and their allotted working hours ($111{\sim}136$) vary with individual training centers and operation years. Secondly, when using 5 point likert scales, Contents and Methods of evaluation marked 3.08 which were the lowest scores, and Qualification Training in General marked 3.72 which was the highest score among five fields of Qualification Training in General, Contents, Organizations, Methods and Evaluation. The overall scores were low. Thirdly, in needs analysis on offering subject matters, the participants wanted to study the field of home economics education more than that of subject contents. Looking about the highest needs classified by domains, Food Principles & Meal Management showed the highest in Foods. And Consumer Issues in Clothing & Textiles in Textiles, Upcoming Housing Cultures in Housing, Family Relationship in Child Development & Family Relationship, Juveniles and their daily life as a consumer in Family & Consumer Resources Management. Fourthly, training centers' lectures available had a significant influence on the satisfaction degrees according to general characteristic variations of the participants. That is, as a training center offers more lectures in the field of subject education than those of subject contents, the participants showed higher satisfaction degrees (p<.05).
