본 논문에서는 기존 철도 운영 및 관리시에 철도 주변환경으로 부터 발생하는 소음, 진동, 미세먼지 센서에서 다양한 실시간 스트림 데이터를 감지하고 정형화된된 데이터 패턴을 인식하고 분석할 수 있도록 데이터를 구성 및 저장하고 분석된 데이터를 표현할 수 있도록 시각화 지원을 위한 모니터링 시스템 플랫폼을 구현하였다. 데이터 전송을 위해 시리얼 통신 기법을 주로 적용하였으나, 센서와 디바이스의 증가로 인해 시리얼 통신의 한계가 나타났다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 기존의 아두이노와 서버 간의 직접 통신 방식 대신 라즈베리파이를 도입하여 MQTT Broker(브로커)를 설치하고 통신을 진행하였다. 철도 데이터 모니터링 시스템 플랫폼은 NoSQL 데이터베이스인 MonGoDB와 데이터 시각화할 수 있는 Grafana를 이용하여 구축하였다.

최근 인터넷과 멀티미디어 기술이 발달함에 따라 이미지 데이터의 양이 급속히 증가하고 있다. 증가하는 이미지를 효과적으로 관리하고 검색하기 위해 내용기반 이미지 검색에 대한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 대부분의 내용 기반 이미지 검색 시스템은 색상, 모양, 질감 특징을 이용한 유사도-기반검색에 초점을 맞추고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 이미지에 나타나는 주요 색상과 색상의 공간적 특성을 포함하는 픽셀샘플링, 그리고 이미지의 외형적 변경에 강인함을 갖는 불변 모멘트 값을 이용한 내용기반 이미지 검색 시스템을 제안한다. 첫 번째 유사성 검사 단계에서는 이미지의 영역별로 가중치를 부여하여 추출한 대표색상을 사용하여, 유사하지 않은 이미지를 제거하여 검색대상의 수를 줄이며, 두 번째 유사성 검사 단계에서는 첫 번째 단계에서 선별된 후보 이미지에 색상의 공간적 정보를 포함한 픽셀샘플링을 이용하여 색상의 공간적인 위치까지 유사한 이미지만을 선별한다. 두 번째 유사성 검사단계에서 이미지가 외형적으로 변형된 유사이미지의 검출이 어려운 점을 보완하는 방법으로 이미지의 불변 모멘트를 이용하여 검색의 정확성을 높인다. 제안한 이미지 검색 방법은 10000개의 다양한 이미지로 구성된 데이터베이스에서 검색을 효율성을 실험하였다.

As part of effort to develop the strategies of internationalization of social science academic journals in South Korea, this study attempts to verify the measurement invariance of journal selection criteria across the groups of library and information science researchers and social science researchers. The authors collected 146 survey responses from researchers who have published at least one paper in SSCI/Scopus-indexed social science journals between 2014 and 2016. As a result of the study, it was found that the configural and partial metric invariance of the journal selection criteria held across the two groups, implying that the model of journal selection criteria is appropriate to use in the field of social science as well as library and information science. Additionally, the authors investigated the perceptions of journal selection criteria indicators in the two groups, and it was shown that researchers in both groups considered peer review and indexing in major databases important. The findings of this study could be useful for publishers or academic societies to develop improvement strategies of their journals.

The Korean Society for Clinical Laboratory Science publishes the Korean Journal of Clinical Laboratory Science (KJCLS) as the official journal for the Korean Association of Medical Technologists. This year, 2017, marks the 50th anniversary of KJCLS. The original name was "the Korean Journal of Medical Technologists" (Volume 1, 1967~Volume 26, 1994), which was replaced with the "Korean Journal of the Clinical Laboratory Science" (Volume 27, 1995~Volume 35, 2003) and "the Korean Journal of Clinical Laboratory Science" (Volume 26, 2004~Present). The purpose of this study was to provide a framework for further development of KJCLS. In 1998, the National Research Foundation of Korea began the journal assessment service. The major domestic databases are KCI, KOFST, and KAMJE; the major international databases are SCI Index; SCI Core, SCI-Extended), SCOPUS, MEDLINE, and PUBMED. KJCLS has been registered with KCI of the National Research Foundation of Korea since 2014. More than 1,300 articles have been published, which all have made tremendous contributions to the field. To index KJCLS in the journal databases, we measured the value to understand the vocational level and social position. KJCLS is faced with a great challenge; immense effort will be needed to accomplish the original goal of KJCLS to become an internationally recognized journal. Ultimately, the goal of the Korean Society for Clinical Laboratory Science and the Korean Association of Medical Technologists should be to register KJCLS in databases such as KCI and SCOPUS.

Big data analysis refers the ability to store, manage and analyze collected data from an existing database management tool. In addition, extract value from large amounts of structured or unstructured data set and means the technology to analyze the results. Meta-analysis is a statistical integration method that delivers an opportunity to overview the entire result of integrating and analyzing many quantitative research results. Meta-analysis is sometimes expressed as an analysis of another analysis. Commonly, factors of metabolic syndrome can be defined as abdominal obesity, high triglycerides, low high density lipoprotein cholesterol, elevated blood pressure, and elevated fasting glucose. This study will find meaningful mediator variables for criterion variables that affect before and after the metabolic syndrome studies, on the basis of the results of a meta-analysis. We reviewed a total of 5 studies related to metabolic syndrome published in Korea between 2000 and 2016, where a cause and effect relationship is established between variables that are specified in the conceptual model of this study.

The purpose of this study is to provide a basic data about the virtual reality rehabilitation therapy to the occupational therapist in the domestic clinical field by systematically analyzing the types and effects of the rehabilitation therapy using the virtual reality program. Research articles were retrieved from January 2007 to December 2017 using the Research Information Sharing Service (RISS), Google Scholar, and Pubmed database. The main search terms were 'Virtual Reality AND Rehabilitation' and 'Virtual reality AND Effect'. Finally, 10 foreign studies were selected as the subjects of this study. Selected studies were organized using PICO (Patient, Intervention, Comparison, Outcome) format. The results were as follows: The subjects were divided into 4 types, stroke, brain tumor, Parkinson 's disease, and kidney disease. The tools used for arbitration were three IREX (30 %), two X-box Kinect (20 %), two Nintendo Wii (20 %), one [Existing tool + VR] (10 %), one [Mobile application + VR] (10 %). As a result of the intervention, improvement of function was observed in all 10 studies from overseas, and physical function was 24 times (66 %), mental function 6 times (17 %), cognitive function 5 times (14 %), Activity of daily living 1 time (10 %). this study could be used as a basic resource to enhance the professionalism and quality of rehabilitation services and expand the scope by organizing virtual reality-based rehabilitation and its effects.

With the exploration of digital academic information, it is certainly required to develop more effective academic contents recommender system in order to accommodate increasing needs for accessing more personalized academic contents. Considering historical usage data, the academic content recommender system recommends personalized academic contents which corresponds with each user's preference. So, the academic content recommender system effectively increases not only the accessibility but also usability of digital academic contents. In this paper, we propose the new journal recommendation technique based on information of journal subscription and web usage logs in order to properly recommend more personalized academic contents. Our proposed recommendation method predicts user's preference with the institution similarity, the journal similarity and journal importance based on citation relationship data of references and finally compose institute-oriented recommendations. Also, we develop a recommender system prototype. Our developed recommender system efficiently collects usage logs from distributed web sites and processes collected data which are proper to be used in proposed recommender technique. We conduct compare performance analysis between existing recommender techniques. Through the performance analysis, we know that our proposed technique is superior to existing recommender methods.

This study proposes a novel method to rank highly-cited papers that incorporate the likelihood of receiving future citations. Instead of using the total citation count, the proposed method ranks most-papers based on the yearly citation growth rate (YCGR). The rank of YCGR can be obtained by calculating the average ranks of five individual citation related variables: 1) Total Citation Count, 2) Leftside-Slope, 3) Publication Year, 4) Peak Year, and 5) Rightside-Slope. To empirically test the proposed method, yearly citation counts with other relevant bibliographic records of the 50 most-cited papers in Library and Information Science (LIS) journals used in the study conducted by Walters and Wilder were collected from the Scopus database for the years 1996 to 2016. The result indicated that the YCGR appears to reflect the degree to which the paper is likely to receive future citations, and the ranked list based YCGR offered an alternative viewing feature of the highly-cited papers in LIS. Although more empirical analyses are needed, the rank based on YCGR in conjunction with variables related to YCGR can be used as an alternative method in recognizing influential papers in LIS.

This study aimed to suggest research directions for future studies by exploring trends of existing academic literature on multicultural acceptance of elementary school children in Korea. For this purpose, this study searched for domestic articles in academic data base using key words related to the subject of this study. Finally 36 articles were selected and using content analysis they were analyzed according to year of publication, fied of study, research themes, and research methods. The results of the study indicated that steady academic efforts have been made related to this topic since the first study in this field appeared in 2010 and the most prolific field of study was pedagogy. Results also showed that the theme of analyzing factors affecting multicultural acceptance of children was studied the most and quantitative methods were dominant. Results of the analysis suggested a need to put more research endeavor to extend the scope of research themes, study fields, and research designs in this field and they contributed to providing basis for future research.

We propose an efficient robot name registration and recognition method in order to enable a Call-and-Come service for home robots. In the proposed method for the name registration, the search space is first restricted by using monophone-based acoustic models. Second, the registration of robot names is completed by using triphone-based acoustic models in the restricted search space. Next, the parameter for the utterance verification is calculated to reduce the acceptance rate of false calls. In addition, acoustic models are adapted by using a distance speech database to improve the performance of distance speech recognition, Moreover, the location of a user is estimated by using a microphone array. The experimental result on the registration and recognition of robot names shows that the word accuracy of speech recognition is 98.3%.
