The Korea Ministry of Education, Science and Technology (MEST) determines admission quota of cyber universities. MEST's decision is made based on each university's physical and administrative capacity for handling admission numbers. However, the unique characteristics of cyber universities (e.g., online teaching and learning environments) are not considered in MEST's current decision process. MEST also lacks specifics in their policies that are required to ensure university's autonomous control for admission number as well as learners' rights and quality assurance. This study intended to improve decision making process on admission quota of cyber universities so as to increase quality assurance of education. The alternative admission quota decision frameworks have been formulated based on (a) the analysis of the current practices of cyber universities, (b) focus group interviews, and (c) recommendations of the expert.

(사)한국포장협회(회장 윤영욱)가 올해 4월 1일부터 6월 15일까지 총 11주간 진행한 제19기 포장기술관리사(Packaging Professional) 통신교육 결과, 총 99명의 포장기술관리사를 배출했다. 이번 제19기 포장기술관리사 통신교육에서는 (주)남경 김소영 실장이 총점 1백점 만점에 93.9점을 획득, 일반부문 최고 성적 우수자로 선정됐으며, (주)아이마켓코리아 전자계열 2팀 조형래 과장이 93.2점으로 2등, (주)남경 한강수 사원과 롯데중앙연구소 안경목 연구원이 92.7점으로 공동 3등으로 수료했다. 또한 학생 부문에서는 강릉원주대학교 식품가공유통학과 위경일 학생이 1등으로(88.0점), 유영현 학생이 2등85.5점, 나윤진 학생이 3등(85.3점)으로 수료했다. 한국포장협회는 정부의 산업기술기반 조성사업의 하나인 인력양성(포장분야)을 목적으로 포장기술관리사 통신교육을 실시해 오고 있으며, 금번 제19기 포장기술 관리사를 포함, 그동안 총 1천5백35명을 배출했다. 본 고에서는 제19기 포장기술관리사 우수성적 수료자들을 소개해 본다.

웹은 인터넷을 기반으로 하여 시간 장소에 구애됨이 없이 연결할 수 있어서 학생들이나 교수는 원하는 정보 서비스를 손쉽게 이용할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 점들을 고려하여 웹상에서 학생들은 리포트제출, 시험보기, 성적조회, 출석점검을 할 수 있으며, 교수들도 종래에 사용하였던 시험출제, 출석부와 학생관리를 웹을 통해 이루어질 수 있도록 PHF와 오라클을 이용한 웹기반 학생관리시스템을 개발하였다.

This study set out to investigate dental hygiene students' perceptions and performance of dental clinic infection management of clinical training, thus helping to minimize nosocomial infection and providing basic data for infection management and action guidelines in development of curriculums and educational programs. A survey was taken with dental hygiene students that had experiences with clinical training at a four-year university in Gyeongbuk. The findings show that many of the students had experiences with education about the prevention of infection. There were differences in their performance of infection prevention management among the sites of clinical training with university and general hospitals recording a high level of performance. These findings raise a need to make guidelines for infection management, distribute them to sites of clinical training, and manage them through the staff during clinical training. The schools need to run educational program for infection management in relation to clinical training and establish a systematic institution.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect on self-management and sports coping of student athletes. The data was collected from 446 student athletes in Seoul and Incheon who were registered in Korean Olympic Committee before they participated the 2010 National Athletic Meet. Athlete Self-Management Questionnaires and Athlete's Sports Coping Scale Questionnaires as The investigation tools were used for the data collection. The data, which was collected by using SPSS 17.0, was analysed with t-test, factor analysis and multi-regression. The results of this study were as follows. First, there was a difference of the class over self-management and sports coping. Second, a difference in sports career existed between self-management and sports coping. Third, self-management affected sports coping of student athletes.

This study aims to examine the differences of perceptions on the professionalism of archivists between the archivists and the students majored in archives and record management. The professionalism elements required for archivist as the profession were drawn as 8 items and 29 detailed elements in total 3 fields based on the literature review and the domestic and foreign case studies. The study hypothesis was based on the extracted results. The questionnaires were composed to conduct survey for archivists and students. As a result of it, this study could confirm that differences of perceptions on the professionalism for archivists between the archivists and students exists.

Recently, due to increases in the numbers of nursing students, there are many cases of clinical practice in remote areas other than in hospitals near a school. In this regard, the Korea Institute of Nursing Evaluation emphasizes the securing of safety, the provision of regulations, and countermeasures related to long-term practices of nursing students. The purpose of this study is to develop a safety management application for nursing students who are practicing at a distance. This application configuration consists of accommodation location information, nursing student location information check, and notification of the professor in charge. The location information of nursing students was based on their location on weekdays from 10 pm to 11 pm, due to the work schedule of the nursing students. For this reason, nursing students can use this app after their clinical practice; if the student is out of the safety radius or there is a problem, a risk notification can be provided through a service and a rescue request can be made.

입시위주의 암기식 교육풍토 개선을 위한 하나의 방편으로 1999년부터 전국 초 중등학교에서 수행평가가 실시되고 있다. 수행평가는 학생에게 학습과제를 제시하여 수행과정과 결과를 관찰하고 판단하는 평가 방식으로, 단편적인 영역에 대해 일회적으로 평가하지 않고 학생 개개인의 변화 발달과정을 전체적으로 파악하기 위해 종합적이면서도 지속적으로 평가하여야 한다. 그러나 현 교육여건 하에서 과도한 수의 학생을 관찰하여 결과를 처리해야하는 교사와 체계적이지 않은 수행평가 운영방식으로 수시로 평가를 받아야 하는 학생에게 수행평가는 본연의 기능과 의미를 상실해가고 있다. 이에 교사의 수행평가 업무를 관리하여 업무량을 경감시키고, 학생의 수행평가 일정과 성적을 관리하여 성장과 발달에 도움을 줄 수 있는 수행평가 관리 시스템을 구현하였다.

최근 여러 모바일 기기가 대중화 됨에 따라 이를 위한 여러가지 응용 소프트웨어의 개발과 연구가 활발하다. 모바일 기기는 기존 데스크탑 PC에 비해 휴대성과 이동성이 있어서 원하면 언제 어디서나 정보의 관리가 가능하다는 장점이 있다. 이에 본 논문은 유비쿼터스 환경에서 교육 현장이라면 언제 어디서나 필요한 학생들의 정보를 관리 할 수 있도록 하기 위한 임베디드 리눅스 기반의 학생 상담관리 시스템을 설계하고 구현하고자 한다.

우리나라의 사교육기관인 학원의 수가 증가하고 그에 따른 학생들의 수도 증가함에 따라 관리자측면에서 학생관리 시스템의 변화가 제기되고 있고 특히 학생들의 등하교에 따른 출결여부와 학부모에게 공지사항을 전달하는데 많은 시간적, 경제적 비용이 소모되고 있는 실정이다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위하여 본 논문에서는 최적화된 RFID기술에 관해 연구하였다. RFID리더기를 이용하여 학생들의 출결여부를 실시간으로 입력함으로써 학생 관리를 하는데 있어서 시간과 노력을 줄일 수 있는 RFID기술 기반의 학원관리 시스템을 구현하였다. 실시간으로 SMS메시지 전송서비스를 제공하였으며, Tag를 인식 할 때 해쉬기반의 인증 메커니즘을 추가하여 구성하였다.
