The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of discrimination experiences of adolescents currently using regional children's centers on school life adaptation and the moderating effect of parent-child communication in the process. Data from the first sixth year (2016) of the Children's Panel Survey, which was collected by the Central Children's Center, were used. At the time of the survey, the sample was selected from a total of 392 adolescents who were enrolled in the third year of middle school and currently living with their parents. This study analyzed the correlation analysis of variables related to school life adaptation of adolescents using local children's centers, frequency analysis, descriptive statistics analysis, correlation analysis, and control effects to explain the moderating effect. As a result of the analysis, it was found that parent-child communication, a modulating variable, has a buffering effect in the relationship between discrimination experiences and student life adaptation. To this end, it sought to develop practical programs such as communication methods and parent-child camps. The results obtained through this study can be used as basic data to broaden the theoretical discussions on adaptation to school life of local children's centers and to prepare appropriate policy visits to expand the effects of social intervention.

The purpose of this study is to research on how the types of father's communication were perceived by the adolescents and how the school adjustment of the adolescents according to the communication between father's and adolescents appear. The major results of this study were as follows. First, the school adjustment showed difference according to the general characteristics (adolescent's age, father's jobs) of the students surveyed. Second, the statistic correlation appeared in the relationship of the style of communication between father and adolescents and the school adjustment of the adolescents.

This study aimed at helping elementary school students from multicultural family in boosting their self-esteem and school adjustment by conducting the program of art Counseling. The research was carried out by performing art Counseling on two first-graders from multicultural family whom I have been supervising in the class at T elementary school in G City, South Chungcheong Province. The art Counseling program employed in the study is the one the researcher developed by reorganizing the programs used in previous studies in a way that would confirm to the aim of the research. A 40 minutes session was held twice a week from August 30, 2011 to October 6, 2011, resulting in a total of 10 sessions. The researcher herself conducted the sessions during after school at the first grade classroom of T elementary school. The following analyses were performed to generate results of elementary school students from multicultural family, "the test measuring self-esteem", "the test measuring the school life adjustment", "the K-HTP test" was conducted before and after the art counseling program. The results were analyzed through comparison. The foregoing analyses revealed that the art Counseling program is effective for elementary school students from multicultural family.

This study aims to identify the mediating effect of school satisfaction in the effect of self-esteem on resilience, and to examine the relationship between brain function quotient and resilience. In this descriptive study, questionnaires and brainwaves were collected from 145 female high school students in Seoul from November 22 to December 23, 2012. Data were analyzed by Pearson's correlation coefficient and three-step mediated regression analysis using SPSS 21.0. Among brain function quotients, stress resistance quotient were highly correlated with resilience, and both attention and brain quotient were significantly correlated with resilience. Moreover, school satisfaction showed the mediating effect in the effect of self-esteem on resilience. The findings suggest that brain function quotient, in specific, stress resistance quotient, should be considered in studies regarding resilience. Furthermore, predictor variables of resilience such as self-esteem and school satisfaction should be considered for preventive and therapeutic intervention to reduce various maladaptive problems in adolescents.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effects of neglect and abuse of parents, a sub-factor of domestic violence victimization experience, on the career identity status, the mediate effects of adapting to school life in the process, and the control effects of the experience of using local children center service experience. To this end, 419 people were extracted from the data of the first year and sixth year of the children's panel at the local children's center. The main analysis results are as follows. First, parents' neglect, a sub-factor of domestic violence damage experience, was found to have a negative mediation effect on youth's sense of direction. Second, adapting to school life are being partially mediate effect in the relationship between neglect of duty and career identity. The practical implications of necessary for the forming career identity for teenager using local child center and the basis data for developing programs were derived.

In this study, the self-esteem by grasping the adaptation state of the stress and school multi-cultural youth, social support, and analyzed the changes that appear in response to them coping with stress. By utilizing the structural equations for that, this study analyzed the relationship between the adaptation to stress and school multi-cultural youth, in terms of coping with stress, social support, and examined the effect of adjusting the self-esteem of the parameters. The results of this study were as follows. Stress multi-cultural youth, social support and self-esteem are affected. On the other hand, a significant effect on coping with stress was not detected. Subsequently, to cope with the stress analyzed, social support, self-esteem effects of the defined parameters revealed a relationship between the adaptation to all stresses and school life.

The objective of the study was to examine the factors affecting the life satisfaction of multicultural adolescents and to verify the mediating effects of school adjustment and career attitude between depression and life satisfaction of multicultural adolescents.. For the purpose, 1079 subjects were selected from the 7th (2017) data of the Multicultural Adolescents Panel Study (MAPS), and the data collected were verified through analysis methods such as structural equation and Bootstrapping analysis. The results founded are as follows. First, the depression of multicultural adolescents was shown to decrease their life satisfaction. Second, school adjustment played a partial mediating role in the causal relationship between depression and life satisfaction of multicultural adolescents. Third, the effect of depression of multicultural adolescents on the life satisfaction was partly mediated by their career attitude. On the basis of the findings, practical programs and policy alternatives to enhance life satisfaction of multicultural adolescents were discussed.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the influence of the perceived parental attachment and social support on adjustment to college life in university students. For this study, research data about adjustment to college life, the perceived parental attachment and social support were collected from 386 university students. Results of correlation and multiple regression analysis showed that the perceived parental attachment and social support are the most influential factors. Major findings and conclusions were as follow: First of all, the finding shows that the adjustment to college life has a significant static correlation with both parental attachment and Social support, respectively. Second, parental attachment and social support of friends have more influence on adjustment to college life, especially in academic, social, personal-emotional and environmental one. Thus, results of this study show the importance of a wide variety of policy research, continuous counseling, and development of programs for a better adjustment to college life.

The study aims at constructing adaptation model, CampusQual, to evaluate the services which Tsinghua provides for Korean Students. The study is based on ServQual's "expectation-feeling difference" via conducting a survey on satisfaction on their campus life. We implement a survey including 30 questions in 5 sections: demographic statistics, study & information literacy, campus life, social & culture and regulations. Then through CampusQual model, we analyze the Korean students' adaptation level. CampusQual is a new service model that would enable Korean students to better live and study in universities in China. It also provides feasible suggestions and guidance for administrators on improving campus services for Korean Students.

본 프로젝트는 신입생들을 대상으로 대학캠퍼스 및 대학생활을 빠르게 적응할 수 있도록 시설물의 위치 및 활용방법, 학사 행정, 수강 및 강의실 등 학교생활에 유용한 정보들을 자연스럽게 전달할 수 있는 오락용 어플리케이션이다. 빠른 학교생활적응과 부가적이고 적절한 유용 정보를 제공하기 위해 미션을 해결하면서 목적을 달성하는 시나리오로 최종 미션을 완성할 수 있도록 구성하였다. 기술적으로는 QR코드를 활용한 정보 및 미션을 제공하고 GPS 위치 정보를 활용한 자신의 위치와 캠퍼스 맵, 미션 힌트 정보를 제공한다. 이러한 미션 수행 과정을 통해 대학생활에 유용한 정보를 얻을 수 있는 오락용 프로젝트이다.
