‘벼락공부’로 지난 10년 인터넷 인프라에 전력투구한 수험생을 연상시키는 우리나라의 손에 쥐어진 정보화 사회의 비전은 과연 무엇일까. ‘부끄러운 자화상’일까, 정보강국의 장밋빛 미래일까. 최근 고학력실업이 사회문제로 대두되고 있다. 이론 중심의 대학교육과 실무형 전문인재를 원하는 기업의 시각차가 크기 때문이다. 이제 대학교육도 바뀌어야 한다. 실습위주의 교과과정 편성으로 새로운 도전에 나선 경원대학교를 찾아봤다.

Many students have ever experienced difficulties due to lack of space in schools. In this paper we propose design and implementation of an mobile application for reserving an empty classroom using a smartphone. It can improve the utilization of facilities and provide convenience for students.

The purposes of this study were to investigate the relationship between science achievement and student-related variables in the 2006 National Assessment of Educational Achievement (NAEA), the subjects of which included 3% of students within the entire population of the grades 6, 9 and 10. The results showed that the more they talk with parents, study by themselves, and read the books, the higher the students achieved in science. The science achievement was also significantly and positively related to self-regulated learning, adaptation to school life and attitude toward science. It is implied that the approach of stimulating internal motive such as interest, attitude toward science and human relations is more effective in resulting in the students' higher science achievement than focusing on external attitudes such as forcing good study habits.

독후감상문을 쓸 때에나 각종 생활문, 논설문을 쓸 때에 원고지를 이용하지만 많은 어린이들은 원고지 사용법이나 맞춤법에 익숙하지 않다. 어릴 때부터 한글 맞춤법에 대해 많이 공부를 하고, 교육을 받지만, 학교현장에서는 시간을 내어서 특별히 할 수 있는 시간이 많지 않기 때문에 또 다른 지도 방법이 요구되는 바이다. 따라서, 아동들이 원고지를 이용하여 스스로 맞춤법에 대하여 공부를 해 보고, 복잡한 기구 없이 좀 더 쉬운 방법으로 아동들의 한글 맞춤법 등 글짓기의 기능적인 측면을 지도할 수 있는 웹 기반의 원고지 첨삭지도 시스템을 설계한다.

This study empirically examines motivations of entering college of education and academic problems that pre-service teachers encounter under the curricular activities. We analyze the phenomena of professional development under the four categories: motivation toward entering college of education, pedagogical content knowledge, subject matter knowledge and future vision. We conducted survey for the S university students first and interviewed 3 selected participants. Almost 50 students from college of education participated answering to the surveys. Using SPSS package, there was no significant difference between freshmen, sophomore and junior students in any category Male students responded more positively than female students in all the categories. To explore survey results deeply, we selected 3 students from sophomore and junior levels and 2 extra senior students to conduct interviews. The interpretation of the data described how their academic problems unfold partly because they seek another major and how their professional development take place carrying out practicum activities. Most of the interviewees felt that their academic lives were affected motivations of entering college of education and difficulties of studying subject matter knowledge. At the end, several suggestions are added for future research.

This study is intended to reveal reading comic books helps improve creativity. Though the long-lasting negative recognition towards comic books has positively changed these days, we need a ground upon which the social recognition needs improvement in that children's comic books have been used as a learning tool. Its introduction points out that there has been shortage of empirical researches on comic book reading, and as one of the empirical research methods, presents a method of comparative analysis on comic book reading, school study, and creativity tests via survey. The theoretical background in the 2nd chapter, first, puts emphasis on the significance of the creativity theory among all the other theories related to creativity, which focuses on problem-solving capacity. Second, it theoretically reviews the meaning which 'fun' and 'interest' have in development of creativity in the context of developmental process of the modern educational theories. Third, it empathizes that traits of reading comic books start off with 'fun' and 'interest', that awareness of reality gets expanded via the process of characters making their way through a strange world with empathy and absorption, and that comic book reading has to do with creativity. Fourth, it presents a model questionnaire with which to study relationship between comic books and creativity in an empirical way. The analysis on the survey outcome in the 3rd chapter shows, first, that smart students read many comic books, not to mention that studying helps improve creativity, which indicates above all, comic book reading and improvement of creativity are not negatively related, but are mutually complementary. Second, that creativity enhanced by reading comic books is higher than that enhanced by studying, which may mean comic book reading is more effective than studying in developing creativity. It has drawn a conclusion based upon these results, that reading comic books bears positive efficacy on both studying and developing creativity. Standing on this conclusion, it proposes it necessary to develop methods by grades of educating how to read comic books and to provide a recommended list of comic books to read.

정보전달매체가 발달된 오늘날에 있어서도 시각장애인은 각종 정보와 문화적 혜택으로부터 소외되고 있는것이 사실이다. 특히 도서관은 시각장애인에게도 주체적 삶의 의지, 공부할 권리, 알권리를 제공해 주어야 할 의무가 있다. 지금까지의 선행 연구들은 시각장애인 정보봉사를 도서관 쪽으로만 국한시키고 있으나 시각장애인 정보봉사는 국가와 사회의 관심하에 도서관, 매스미디어, 맹인복지기관, 특수맹학교 그리고 멀티미디어 신기술을 활용하여 전개되어야 하며 이를 위한 체계적인 연구가 필요하다.

성교육의 단점은 일정한 형식이 없어서 너무 힘이 들지만 또 반대로 생각하면 그것 때문에 여러 가지를 고민하며 창조적인 수업을 만들어 갈 수 있는 장점도 있다. 물론 고민도 있다. 학생들 자신이 진짜 고민하는 이야기는 하나도 안 나오고 선생님이 준비해서간 자료들만 나열하는 수업에서 어떤 변화가 일어날 것인지? 그냥 수업시수만 때우는 것은 아닌가 하는 고민이 늘 내 주변을 맴돌고 있었다. 학력신장에만 정신이 없는 학교 구조 속에서 성교육의 설자리는 어디며 가장 핵심 가치는 무엇이고 어디서부터 시작을 해야 하는지? 개인적으로 그 고민이 가족역동 치료 공부하면서 많이 해소되고 길이 보이는 것 같다.

본고는 ICME-9에서 발표되었던 Alan Bishop과 B. D‘Ambrosio의 논문을 중심으로 미래의 수학교육방향을 고찰해보고자 시도되었다. 민주화는 교육의 한 측면으로 항상 제시되어왔음에도 불구하고 수학 교육에서는 명확하게 제시되어진 일이 거의 없다. 우리 모두가 여전히 수학은 일부 공부 잘하고 머리 좋은 사람들만이 잘 할 수 있는 과목이라고 생각하여왔고 그러한 생각은 학교 졸업 후 사회에 나가서도 특권의식으로 발전한다. 그러나 수학이 메마르고 특권주의적 과목이 아닌 보편적이고 민주적인 과목 즉, “모두를 위한 수학교육”이 되어야 함을 자세히 살펴보았다.

실업계 고등학교출신, 직장을 다니다 뒤늦게 진학한 학생, 수학성적 때문에 야간학과를 택한 학생들의 수학학습능력이 대학수학을 공부하기에는 부족함을 그들의 의견과 기초학습능력 검사와 수업을 통해 확인해보고 그들을 위한 수업지도 방법과 심리적 치료법을 곁들여 좋은 수업환경을 만들고 수업에 대한 반응으로부터 그들만을 위한 방법을 개발하고 수준에 맞는 교재를 만들어 ‘99학년도 2학기부터 시행에 본다음 종합적인 분석을 하여 계속된 현장연구 결과와 함께 학습부진 학생을 위한 대학수학 수업모델을 만든다.
