Design of Environment Control and Automated Management Systems for Animal Production : A Review (축산을 위한 환경제어 및 자동화 사양관리 시스템 설계에 관한 문헌연구)

  • The objective of this study were to review and analyze the application technologies of electronics and microprocessor for environment control and automated management systems of livestock production of the advanced countries, and to select the appropriate and applicable technologies for our systems among the analyzed. In this study, the environment control systems were analyzed mainly on the poultry production systems; and the automated management systems on swine and dairy production systems. According to the results, the advanced technologies reviewed and analyzed could be applicable for designing our animal production systems, if those were modified and remodeled for our situation.

  • 우리나라 대형 건설시장의 하나인 터널 시공은 계획 대비 많은 물량과 자재의 소모로 인해 이들 정보의 지속적 관리를 통한 정확한 물량 및 자재 산출 정보 예측에 대한 관심이 꾸준히 요구되고 있는 실정이다. 대부분의 시공현장에서는 굴진의 정확도 검측을 위해 광파기를 사용하고 있다. 광파기는 공사 초기 시부터 유지된 원점으로부터의 정확한 좌표를 사용하고 있어 취득된 정보는 신뢰할 수 있으나, 몇 개의 기준점을 측량하여 굴진방향 및 공사의 진척도를 평가하는 방식이므로, 전체적인 면을 측정하지 못한다는 단점이 있다. 이에 반하여 3차원 스캐너는 제원에 따른 반경 내의 모든 점들을 계측하여 그 정보를 선이 아닌 면으로써 파악하지만 위치에 대한 정확도를 포함할 수 없다. 이러한 문제점을 보완하기 위하여, 광파기와 3차원 스캐너를 동시 활용하는 본 시스템은 현장에서 소모된 자원의 정확한 양을 체크하여 굴진정도를 파악하여 공사의 전반적인 진도를 관리할 수 있다. 또한 여굴의 발생 여부를 직접 확인하고 계획대비 소모된 물량정보를 통해 자재관리를 할 수 있게 된다. 마지막으로 추후 발생할 수 있는 하자에 대한 정확한 근거를 제시하여 균열 및 누수 등에 대한 정확한 원인 파악을 제공할 수 있다는 장점들을 제공한다.

  • The occurrence of defect, one of the major risk elements, gives rise to construction delays and additional costs. Although construction companies generally prefer to use a method of identifying and classifying the causes of defects, a system for predicting the rise of defects becomes important matter to reduce this harmful issue. However, the currently used methods are kinds of reactive systems that are focused on the defects which occurred already, and there are few studies on the occurrence of defects with prediction systems. This paper is about preliminary study on the development of judgemental algorithm that informs us whether additional works related to defect issue are needed or not. Among machine learning techniques, deep neural network was utilized as prediction model which is a major component of algorithm. It is the most suitable model to be applied to the algorithm when there are 8 hidden layers and the average number of nodes in each hidden layer is 70. Ultimately, the algorithm can identify and defects that may arise in later and contribute to minimize defect frequency.

  • T.A.B란 공기조화설비에 대한 종합시험조정으로 시험, 조정 및 균형(Testing, Adjusting & Balancing)이라는 뜻이다. 이는 설계 목적에 부합되도록 모든 빌딩의 환경시스템을 검토하고, 조정하는 과정이다. 따라서 T.A.B기술은 공기 및 물이라는 유체의 흐름과 온 습도에 관련된 분야이기 때문에 시각적으로 그 성과를 알아보기 힘들고, T.A.B를 적용한 후 결과치를 정밀 분석해 판단할 수 있으며 T.A.B기술을 적용하지 않은 건물과 간접비교하는 방법으로 그 효과를 쉽게 알 수 있다. T.A.B기술을 적용할 경우 시공 중인 건물에 설계도서가 완료되기 전, 또는 장비의 구매발주 전에 T.A.B측면에서 모든 기술 도서를 면밀히 검토하게 된다. 그 중 일부에서 발견되는 문제점들 즉, 적정치 못한 용량 선정, 시스템 구성상 미비점, 불필요한 장비 선정, 누락 사항을 발견할 수 있다. 따라서 T.A.B 기술을 적용할 경우 향상된 품질의 시공이 가능해 준공 후 빈번히 대두되는 하자 문제가 현격히 줄게 되며 또한 운전경비 절감, 쾌적한 실내환경 조성, 장비수명 연장 등 효율적인 운전관리 효과를 얻을 수 있다. 우리나라 공기조화설비기술은 꾸준한 발전을 이루었고, 최근에는 도입 초기단계시 전혀 고려되지 않던 공조공간의 쾌적성 및 소음 방지 대책 등의 문제가 주요사항으로 부각되고 있다. 이에 따라 공조설비에 T.A.B실행의 표준화 정착과정에 있으며, 국내 학계 및 연구기관에서 공조설비에 대한 연구 및 T.A.B용역업체의 기술축적 등 T.A.B분야 발전을 위해 노력하고 있다. 본지는 T.A.B의 수행절차 및 수행계획, TAB 수행업체 등에 대해 알아본다.

Deduction of Considerations During Design and Construction by Analysing Domestic and Abroad Case Analysis of Freeform Building Envelope (국내외 비정형 건축물 외피시스템 사례 분석을 통한 설계 및 시공시 고려사항 도출)

  • Recently, architectural design has been changing from formal design to freeform design due to the digitalization of construction industry. Especially, the formal design has been accepted as a design trend recently and applied many times as a design concept in the architectural design competitions such as turn-key. However, various deflects such as water leak and cracks have been occurred because the traditional construction methods had been applied without any revision or adaptation of the formal construction method for the freeform building construction. Design and construction of freeform building has been developed as an new method in order to solve the problems and minimize the construction duration and cost for the freeform building. Therefore this research deduced the positive implications for developing freefrom envelope by analyzing the domestic and abroad cases and proposed the considerations during design and construction of the freeform envelope as follows. First, the freeform design should consider the constructability for the freeform envelope. Second, manufacturing technology for the two-way curvature of the unit panel should be developed. Third, exposed concrete form method should be developed for the freeform envelope of concrete. Forth, material characteristics, construction method and facility management should be considered in order to manage precipitation and keep water-proof according to the classification of the freeform envelope area.

  • There are many memory leak detection tools. However, programmers, who develop very large programs, tend to avoid testing their programs with memory leak detection tools since these tools require runtime and space overheads. Thus, we present a memory leak detection technique which enables programmers to test their modules in their unit test phase with low overheads. To achieve this goal, we extend the existing cyclic memory allocation technique and evaluate our memory leak detection technique on a tiny DBMS. In our experiments, we find our tool has reasonably low runtime and space overheads and it reports only a small number of false positives.

Management Period Setting Study of through Analysis of the Growth Amount after Planting of Deciduous Broadleaf Species Planted in Ecological Restoration Sites (생태복원지에 식재된 낙엽활엽수종의 이식 후 생장량 분석을 통한 관리기간 설정 연구)

  • The growth of trees planted through transplantation rapidly decreases immediately after planting due to extreme disturbances such as root cutting and crown damage. Although the growth rate is recovered as time elapses, the time required to restore the original growth varies by species. Therefore, it is necessary to set an appropriate tree management period for survival after transplantation by analyzing each species' annual growth change. In this study, we analyzed the growth amount of deciduous broad-leaf species planted in the area where the riparian ecological belt was formed and proposed the management period based on the results. Slowed growth immediately after planting is a common phenomenon due to root cutting and pruning, the pre-works performed to increase tree survival rate during the transplantation process. Afterward, the original growth rate is recovered as time passes, but the time required may vary depending on the species and planting environment. Most of the trees showed a rapid decrease in growth immediately after transplantation. After that, although it is different for each species, most of them showed a gradual recovery from 2 years onwards. The analysis of the growth rate by tree species confirmed that it took 2 to 4 years, depending on the tree species, to recover the growth level before transplantation after a rapid decrease in growth immediately after transplantation. The results suggest that improving the defect rate of planted trees is necessary to meet the project objectives: ecological restoration and pollutant reduction. It requires setting a tree management period of at least two years and creating an appropriate base environment.

Investigating the Impact of Project Management on Construction Defects in Housing Projects: With a Focus on Project Manager Experience (프로젝트 관리가 공동주택 건설의 하자 발생에 미치는 영향: 프로젝트 매니저 경험의 조절효과를 중심으로)

  • Recently, defects that occurred during the construction of apartment houses have become a social issue. Defects in apartment houses lead to waste of resources and economic loss, causing psychological and physical damage to customers, and a decrease in reliability and financial loss to construction companies. The purpose of this study was to analyze the impact of defect occurrence according to the difference in project management level in the apartment housing construction stage, and to investigate the extent to which the project manager's experience affects the defect occurrence rate. For the empirical analysis of the study, statistical analysis was conducted using data collected from 130 actual projects. The results of the analysis showed that schedule management, cost management, and quality management had a positive effect on reducing the defect occurrence rate in the execution stage of apartment housing construction, while human resource management productivity had a negative effect. This study theoretically demonstrated the importance of project management, and in practice, showed that schedule management, cost management, and quality management should be faithfully performed in the execution stage to reduce the rate of defects after project completion. It was also suggested that hiring an experienced project manager would help reduce project defects.

  • The architectural drawing, construction project specification, etc. are included in the contract of a documents. However, construction project specification, for being documentation, is not utilized to such an extent. The reason is that specification information is difficult in collecting information in relation to the architectural drawing, material finishing list and other architectural information. Therefore, an integrated model, which can be associated with other architectural information, is needed, and a DB based on this integrated model must be established in order for it to be utilized in design, construction, and management. The DB, which is established through this process, must be updated according to modification in design, and construction. Furthermore the specification must be in document on the web for reference. Consequently in this research, the structure of integrated model has been introduced, and it has made the search and preparation of the integrated model on the Internet, using the specification information DB established for the mutual reference of DB, possible. The improvements of construction project specification standards are expected by this system. Also, it will bring about Improvements upon claim prevention, and design, construction, management qualities. Furthermore, it will make the use of information more convenient in practical business such as order agency, design service and building site.

  • The reclaimed land has peculiar characteristic of nature environment unlike midtown or inland and also, in comparison with inland, has bad weather condition, such as low temperature, strong wind, excessive sunshine, and moisture involved in a salt. Therefore the case of developing water front needs understanding characteristic of weather environment mused by reclamation in detail and proper development and organized maintenance. If development which doesn't investigate topographic and climate characteristic sufficiently is drove ahead, a rise of expense for energy and maintenance is going to be mused by deteriorating weather environmental, occurring a flaw of facility and calculating inaccurate capacity of facility. We looked into the weather state and drew up the standard weather data of the newport area in Busan which is reclaiming and developing now. In this research at the base qf the standard weather data, we calculate the dynamic peak loads for commerce, business and residence and then we utilize the results of the load calculation as basic information to determine facility capacity in the rear city of the newport area.
