A Study on the Development of Dust Collection System for Hull Repair (선체 표면 공사시 발생하는 분진 수거 장치 개발에 관한 연구)

  • The main purpose of this study is to investigate the characteristics of hybrid collection system combined with centrifugal force of cyclone and filtration of bag filter in one unit system. The experiment and numerical simulation are executed for the analysis of collection efficiency and pressure drop characteristics of hybrid system in comparison with those of a general fabric bag filter with the various experimental parameters such as inlet velocity(filtration velocity), dust concentration and dust type, etc.. In present system, dust particles tangentially coming into the system body are controlled by the centrifugal force effect, and the next collection is made out by the filtration mechanism in the fabric filter media. Therefore, the effective first collection causes the decrease of dust loading on the fabric filter, and it presents quite a lower pressure drop of fabric filter than that of a general fabric filter. At the inlet velocity, $21{\sim}27m/sec$ and inlet concentration(fly ash) $300mg/m^3$, pressure drops through the filter media of hybrid system are shown lower as $10{\sim}22mmH_2O$ comparing to those($17{\sim}33mmH_2O$) of a general fabric bag filter.

Corrosion Resistance by Organic/Inorganic Hybrid Solution for Cold Rolled Steel of SPCC and SPFC590 for Automobile (자동차용 냉연강판 SPCC와 냉연고장력강판 SPCF590의 유/무기 하이브리드 용액에 의한 내식특성)

  • The cold-rolled steel sheet for automobile is liable to corrosion, and will be painting in a variety of ways for the anticorrosive. This paper was coated on cold rolled steel (SPCC and SPFC590) for automobiles using five kinds of organic/inorganic hybrid solution. This was evaluated corrosion resistance and so on by the salt spray. Corrosion area was less according to increasing of curing time in 2 types of steel plate with 5 types of the coating solution. No.1 solution was showed the best corrosion resistance regardless of the kinds of the steel sheet. It is judged that the melamin hardner had the role of bridge between $SiO_2$ polysilicate and urethan resin. Other properties were excellent in all solution.

  • This study has developed an organic/inorganic hybrid solution according to amount of $SiO_2$ polysilicate, and the amount of melamine is constant. The three types of cold rolled steel were evaluated a corrosion resistance properties by using these solutions. $US_3M_3$ and $US_{11}M_3$ solutions were generate a lot of corrosion. $US_7M_3$ solution was excellent in corrosion resistance, regardless of the steel type. The appearance of coating by $US_3M_3$ and $US_{11}M_3$ solutions were bumpy surface, and were a lot of fine defects. $US_7M_3$ solution was made a sophisticated molecular cross-linking structure inside the coating, it was a slick surface. Other characteristics are exhibited the excellent property for all solutions.

  • Austenitic stainless steels generally experience the occurrence of chromium-depleted zones at the boundaries, known as sensitization, caused by the carbide precipitation that takes place due to a welding process or heat treatment. Normally, the depleted zones become the focus of the intense corrosion. In this study, the Cr-free organic/inorganic hybrid solution was developed, and the artificially degraded STS316S and STS347H with the solution-coating investigated the corrosion resistance by salt spray test. Both the OIBD-1 and OIBD-2 solutions improved the corrosion resistance of STS310S and STS347H. The corrosion resistance with the OIBD-1 solution was better than that of OIBD-2 solution. Additionally, Both solutions have been proven excellence in adhesion ability, boiling water resistance and flexibility. However, a problem of rubbing after the boiling was found out to be overcome.

  • In order to develop the PHEV(plug-in hybrid electric vehicle), the specific power transmission systems considering the PHEV system characteristics should be applied. A PHEV applied to series-parallel type hybrid power transmission system is a typical example. In this paper, the novel hybrid power systems are proposed by analyzing the existing PHEV system. The backward simulation program is developed to analyze the fuel efficiency of hybrid power system. Quasi-static models for each components such as engine, motor, battery and vehicle are included in the developed simulation program. To obtain an optimal condition for hybrid systems, an optimization approach called the dynamic programming is applied. The simulation is performed in various driving cycles. A weakness for the existing system is found through the simulation. To compensate for a discovered weakness, novel hybrid power systems are proposed by adding or moving the clutch to the existing system. Comparing the simulation results for each systems, the improved fuel efficiency for proposed systems are verified.

  • This study has developed an organic/inorganic hybrid solution by addition of $SiO_2$ polysilicate and Melamine to the urethane. The three types of cold rolled steel were evaluated a corrosion resistance properties by using these solutions. The urethane solution(U) and the urethane solution with $SiO_2$ polysilicate($US_7$) were generate a lot of corrosion. The urethane solution with $SiO_2$ polysilicate and melamine($US_7M_3$) was excellent in corrosion resistance, regardless of the steel type. In addition, corrosion resistance has been shown to depend on the tensile strength.   • The large scale decisive battle will be gradually reduced on the sea in the future and surface combatant ship installed advanced weapon units as well as propulsion system will be continuously increased. The high level of military technology leads to appear state-of-the-art weapon system using high power energy. As a results, fossil fuel powered main prime mover as diesel engine and gas turbine which are composed of mechanical propulsion system should be decreased from combatant ship in the near future. The new building naval combatant ship with the latest technology has electric based propulsion method of the hybrid type combined with mechanical and electrical drive. U.S. and Royal Navy, especially, select the integrated fully electric based propulsion system for the next generation combat ship and play an important roll for developing them. In this context, this paper was focused on the deduction of implications through analyzing the combatant ship propulsion system using diesel and gas turbine engine which are promoted on the worldwide.

  • Surely fuel economy(F.E.) label is needed to meet consumer's right to know. Korea has developed and adopted F.E. correction equation similar to the feeling, because consumer complain about F.E. label higher than they feel. Recently, through continuous research and development high-efficiency & performance green car like HEV, PHEV and EV are being sold. In this situation, it is needed to know whether the current equation can reflect a part of their improved technic or not. In this paper, to review current equation through test using hybrid vehicles on 5-cycle SOC, correction equation and F.E were discussed. The result show HEV didn't meet the SOC error standard on US06. Also, HEV has bigger F.E. difference between FTP-75 and 5-cycle than conventional vehicles. However, the correction equation that include HEV almost same with current one.

  • 최근 고유가상황 및 에너지소비가 증대되는 사회적 분위기와 환경적 변화에 힘입어 대체에너지기술개발에 대한 절실한 대책마련이 중요시 되고있다. 기후변화협약의 발효로 환경에너지에 대한 새로운 인식의 필요로 에너지체제의 변환이 촉구되어지고 있으며 이에 따른 환경친화적 에너지자원을 이용한 신 재생에너지개발에 대한 연구개발기술이 관심을 받고 있다. 현재 사용중인 화석연료는 환경오염 및 지구의 온난화 현상 등 심각한 공해문제를 야기시키고 있는 반면에 태양에너지와 같은 청정에너지의 개발은 환경오염방지와 친환경에너지자원의 활용이라는 점에서 관심이 대상이 되고 있고 특히, 우리나라의 경우 에너지수입 의존율이 97%로 높은 상황에서 국가에너지대책을 수립하고 해외수입에너지 의존율을 최소화시키기 위하여 가히 필수적인 상황이다. 따라서, 본 실증연구사업(태양열 이용 Hybrid냉난방시스템 실증연구)은 태양열 집열기에서 생산된 저온의 $20\sim30^{\circ}C$의 승온된 양질의 열원을 히트펌프 증발기 열원으로 이용 히트펌프의 압축동력이 상대적으로 작아져 기존 히트펌프 시스템에서의 성적계수(COP)를 높여 주는 효과를 기대할 수 있고, 특히 하절기 복사량이 많은 시기에는 $50\sim60^{\circ}C$ 정도로 승온되어진 중 고온수를 직접 온수탱크로 이동시켜 필요수요처에 공급함으로써 이에 따른 에너지절감효과를 기대할 수 있다. 구축된 태양열 이용 하이브리드(Hybrid)냉난방시스템은 계절별, 설비별 특성을 적절히 활용하여 연평균 집열기 효율은 70%수준으로 유지하면서, 계절별 성적계수는 '4'수준을 목표로 하여 추진되었으며, 그간, 태양열 이용 보급분야의 실용화는 주로 건물의 급탕용 온수생산의 수준에 머물렀으나 이 단계를 극복한 건물의 냉 난방 및 급탕을 위한 태양열 및 공기열원을 활용한 하이브리드(Hybrid)냉난방 시스템 구축하였다. 아울러, 태양열 이용 하이브리드 냉난방 히트펌프 시스템 실증 실험은 유가상승과 신재생에너지에 대한 국가적 분위기 고취로 어느때 보다도 개발기술의 상용화 및 실용화적 측면의 염두와 태양열 이용 Hybrid냉난방 시스템의 효율향상과 저가화를 통해 기술의 경제성과 신뢰성을 확보하여 태양열 이용 시스템의 보급활성화를 목표로 하고 있다.

  • A key factor in the study of hybrid vehicle is to enhance the usability of energy. The paper introduces the monitor and controlling technology of hybrid vehicle that can process the relevant information considering the structure of power system and driving strategies simultaneously, and can monitor its results. This technology, so called HEV algorithm analysis, has been applied to PRIUS THS made by Toyota Co. LTD. This model is adapted to parallel hybrid type. It has a somewhat comlex structure, but has several merits. It's energy loss is lower when conversing. and also it is easily applied to the conventional vehicle having a gasoline engine without any overall changing of its structure, and so on. This monitor and controlling technology is very useful to study on the various driving strategies of hybrid vehicle for maximizing the usability between engine and electric motor.
