The purpose of this study is to analyze the structural relationship, direct and indirect effects between adolescents' peer attachment, self-resilience, academic stress, and smartphone addiction. The subject of this study used panel data of a total of 1280 middle school students who participated in the 14th study of the Children's Panel of the Korea Child Care Policy Institute. For data analysis, SPSS 24.0 and AMOS 24.0 programs were used. As a result of the study, children's peer attachment was positively correlated with ego resiliency, academic stress and negatively correlated with smartphone addiction. All pathways except peer attachment and smartphone addiction were found to have a direct influence, and adolescents' peer attachment had an indirect effect on smartphone addiction through ego resiliency and parental achievement pressure. In conclusion, in order to lower adolescents' smartphone addiction, practical interventions to improve ego resiliency and reduce academic stress through peer attachment are considered necessary.
Our research task have goal to describe a treaty rhetoric known as 『La Rhétorique ou L'Art de Parler』(1688) which corresponds to a very wide field of which the step is not yet dubious in our country. Thus to study the rhetoric of Lamy borrowed from the thought of Descartes, we left the concept d' origin of language in traditional rhetoric in connection with logic and grammar (in first part). Also the second part is devoted to the tropes and the figures that are modified and deteriorated by the language of passion called 'rhetoric of passion or psychological of figure', etc. And the third part interests in the body of the speech being the character of l' heart. Under the influence of the rhetoric of Lamy, French rhetoric at the 17th century is held for an essential text when one interests in the history of the ideas and rhetoric, marked in its specificity (passion). The project of Lamy registered in the concept of passion like 'manners of speaking'. To close this study, which does one have to retain? The first remark to note is that Lamy founds his rhetoric in opposition to traditional designs dating from the beginning of Aristote. Second remark is the idea that one finds based in famous the books of Dumarsais at the 18th century and Fontanier at the 19th century. Admittedly, Lamy is a true rhetorician, grammairien which interests in the question of passions in the speech forces to reconsider the idea spread since Mr. Foucault, and makes it possible to understand the passage of the Great century at the Century of Lumuères. Even if this opinion is not shared, it will be agreed that the work of Lamy on passions or the phenomena sensory and psychological in the center of the language deserves reflexion.

Recently, the Internet of Things (IoT) has been widely used in industries and daily life that directly affect human safety, life, and assets. However, IoT devices, which need to meet low-cost, lightweight, and low-power requirements, face a significant problem of shortened battery lifetime due to battery draining attacks and interference. To solve this problem, the 802.11ba standard for the Wake-up Receiver (WuR) has emerged, this feature is playing a crucial role in minimizing energy consumption. However, the WuR protocol did not consider security mechanisms in order to reduce latency and overhead. Therefore, in this study, anAdaptive Power Saving Mechanism (APSM) is proposed for low-power WuR to counter battery draining attacks. APSM can minimize abnormally occurring power consumption by exponentially increasing power-saving time in environments prone to attacks. According to experimental results, the proposed APSM improved energy consumption efficiency by a minimum of 13.77% compared to the traditional Legacy Power Saving Mechanism (LPSM) when attack traffic ratio is 10% or more of the total traffic.

This study analyzes the economic feasibility on the transition of production structure to increase income for a local forest village in Laos PDR. The study area was the Nongboua village in Sangthong district where the primary product is rice from rice paddy. Possible strategies were considered to increase the villagers' revenue, and Noni (Morinda citrifolia) was production in the short-term. We assumed that the project period was for 20 years for the analysis, and a total of 1,100 Noni tree was planted in 1 ha by $3m{\times}3m$ spacing. This study classified basic scenario one, scenario two, scenario three by the survival rate and purchase pirce of Noni. Generally Noni grows well. However, the seedlings' average survival rate (= production volume) was set up conservatively in this study to consider potential risks such as no production experience of Noni and tree disease. The scenario one assumed that the survival rate of Noni seedlings was 50% for 0-1 years, 60% for 0-2 years, and 70% for 3-20 years; the scenario two, 10% less, i.e., 40%, 50%, and 60%; and the scenario three, 10% less, i.e., 40%, 50%, 60% and purchase price 10% less, i.e., $0.29 to $0.26, respectively. Our analysis showed that all 3 scenarios resulted in economically-feasible IRR (internal rate of return) of 24.81%, 19.02%, and 16.30% of with a discounting rate of 10%. The B/C (benefit/cost) ratio for a unit area (1ha) was also analyzed for the three scenarios with a discounting rate of 10%, resutling in the B/C ratio of 1.71, 1.47, and 1.31. The study results showed that the Nongboua village would have a good opportunity to improve its low-income structure through planting and managing alternative crops such as Noni. Also the results can be used as useful decision-making information at a preliminary analysis level for planning other government and public investment projects for the Nonboua village.

In this paper, we proposed a triple band printed monopole antenna with a bent branch strips for WiFi / 5G. An antenna structure in which bent strips for generating multiple resonance are attached in the form of branches was newly proposed based on a typical monopole strip vertically erected as a triple band antenna structure. The proposed antenna is designed on a FR-4 substrate with dielectric constant 4.3, thickness of 1.6 mm, and size of 28×40 mm2. The measured impedance bandwidth is 430 MHz (2.22~2.65 GHz) in the 2.4 GHz WLAN, 450 MHz (3.38~3.83 GHz) in the 3.5 GHz and 2390 MHz (4.95~7.34 GHz), In particular, it has been observed that antenna has a stable omnidirectional radiation patterns as well as gain of 1.537 dBi, 1.878 dBi and 2.337 dBi in the entire frequency band of interest.
In this study, we proposed a new concept termed the Secondary Peak Constant (SPC) and discerned the temporal characteristics of independent rainstorm events based on unit time and SPC about 24 observation stations in Seoul. Utilizing rainfall observations from 2000 to 2022, independent rainstorm events discreted from rainfall data per unit time. The temporal characteristics of these events were derived according to unit time, and temporal characteristics of the peak rainfall were identified through the SPC. Finally, the temporal characteristics of independent rainstorm events were examined distinctively when analyzed by unit time and SPC. Independent rainstorm events with smaller unit time showed significantly larger total rainfall, rainfall duration, and rainfall intensity. The temporal characteristics of the largest peak rainfall (1st Peak) within independent rainstorm events followed a sequence of Q4>Q2>Q3>Q1. Additionally, the 2nd Peak rainfall predominantly occurred the location where the 1st Peak appeared. The proportion of independent rainstorm events with multiple peak rainfalls exceeded 50.0% when the SPC was 0.7 or lower. The average number of peak rainfalls within independent rainstorm events ranged from 1.5 to 3.4. This study identified the temporal characteristics of independent rainstorm events based on unit time. Then, the peak rainfall of temporal characteristics was quantified by SPC on this study. Hence, it is evident that the temporal characteristics of independent rainstorm events for specific area can be anlayzed and quantified based on unit time and SPC.
Muscle mass improvement through lifestyle modification has been shown to reduce the risk of metabolic syndrome. This study examined the capacity of ethanol extracts of Scytosiphon lomentaria (SLE) to suppress the bioactivity of myostatin, a potent negative regulator of skeletal muscle mass, as well as the effect of SLE treatment on metabolic homeostasis in obese zebrafish induced by high feeding. A total of 10 ㎍/ml SLE completely blocked myostatin (1 nM/ml) signaling in the pGL3-(CAGA)12 luciferase assay and suppressed myostatin-induced Smad2 phosphorylation in the Western blot analysis. In the zebrafish larvae analysis, the whole body glucose concentration of the high feeding control (HFC) group was significantly higher than that of the normal feeding control (NFC) group. However, the glucose levels of the high feeding group treated with 12.5 ug SLE and of the high feeding group treated with 18.75 ug SLE were similar to those of the NFC group. The mRNA expression level of the GLUT2 gene of the HFC group was significantly lower than that of the NFC group. SLE treatment restored the expression of the GLUT2 gene to a level that was close to that of the NFC group, indicating that SLE is capable of regulating glucose levels in zebrafish larvae. The current results highlight the potential of SLE as a natural MSTN inhibitor and supplement that can be used to facilitate the treatment of metabolic syndrome.

The in vitro guinea pig ureter responded to 5 sec trains of electrical stimuli with two contractions; the first an 'on response' (ON) occurred with $0.1{\sim}0.3$ sec after the onset o the stimulus train, the second an 'off response'(OFF) occurred $0.2{\sim}1.0$ sec after the termination of the stimulus train. Relaxation occurred between the two responses during a time when the stimulus was still being delivered. Longer duration and/or higher frequencies of stimuli within the train were required to elicit the OFF than the ON. Decreasing temperature from $37^{\circ}$ to $22^{\circ}$ decreased ON amplitude and increased OFF amplitude. $Ca^{++}$-free solution, 2 mM EDTA, 1 mM $Mn^{++}$ or $1{\mu}M$ verapamil rapidly abolished ON. OFF persisted when ON had disappeared by repeated stimulation at 0.12 train per sec. Conversely, caffeine, $50{\mu}M$ and theophylline, $10{\mu}M$ abolished OFF with only slight reduction of ON, and sodium nitroprusside decreased preferentially ON amplitude rather than OFF. Relaxation between ON and OFF was incomplete in low $Na^+$ solution. ON and OFF were not affected by the neural blockers tetrodotoxin, atropine or phentolamine, also pyrilamine and methysergide, and relaxation between ON and OFF was $Na^+$ dependent. Furthermore, ON depends on free $Ca^{++}$ and OFF is more dependent on bound or stored $Ca^{++}$.
In this study, after carrying out a bending test that targeted the frames of plastic film greenhouse, the load-displacement relationship was analyzed to be used as basic data to develop greenhouse construction and maintenance guidelines. As a result, regardless of the shapes of the specimen, the yield and the maximum load increased as the size of the specimen increased. The displacement also showed the same pattern. A steel pipe showed lower yield and maximum load than a square pipe, and the displacement was large. In the steel pipe case, the displacement under the yield and maximum load was in the range of approximately 1.42-4.20mm and 5.80-24.13mm, respectively. In the square pipe case, the displacement under the yield and maximum load was in the range of approximately 1.62-3.00mm and 3.13-8.01mm, respectively. Further, a large difference was observed between the result of this test and the values calculated by a conventionally provided standard. In particular, not much difference was found from the result of this test in the case of a purlin member from the values provided by previous researches. However, a large difference was observed in the column or main rafter members. Furthermore, when a wide-span and venlo type, which is a glasshouse, was used as a target(h/100 and h/80), the displacement under the yield and maximum load was approximately 28.0mm and 35.0mm, respectively, which showed a large difference compared with the Netherlands standard(14.0mm) of a glasshouse. Further, in the main rafter case, a large difference was observed in the displacement limit according to the width(i.e., span) of the greenhouse where members are used. Therefore, because the displacement limit can vary depending on various factors such as type, form, and size of a greenhouse, we determined that studies or tests that consider these factors should be carried out to reflect them in the construction and maintenance of greenhouses.
'Inha University' (Inha Institute of Technology) was founded on April 1954. The establishment of Inha University has several special meanings. First, I tried to examine the establishing process of Inha University in the context of emigrations and nationalist movements. Inha University was established to commemorate the 50th anniversary of emigration to Hawaii, with the seed money of $150,000 which came from the sale of 'Korean Christian Institute' in Hawaii. Korean Christian Institute had taken charge of teaching the children of Korean residents in Hawaii. Rhee Syhngman, the fist president of Republic Korea was the leader in founding Korean Christian Institute and Inha University, but behind him there were donations of both Korean residents in Hawaii and common Korean people of the 1950's. The establishment of Inha University has a nation-wide and national meaning in that the spirit of nationalist movements in Hawaii and donations of Korean people at home and abroad were linked together. Second, I tried to examine the economic and educational policies after the liberation in 1945. In the 1950's Korea planned to set up self-supporting economy with the aid of America. Accordingly, the educational policy had to be considered in view of economic independence, too. 'Inha Institute of Technology' was the result of these national economic and educational demands. Consequently Inha Institute of Technology took a special position of carrying out national policies with the intervention and protection of the Government, including the president Rhee Syungman in person, even though it was neither national not public but private college. Third, I tried to examine the local history of Incheon. How did Inha Institute of Technology come to be built in Incheon? That's because the emigrant ships departed from Incheon. For those Korean emigrants, it is quite natural that the city of Incheon has a symbolic and commemorative meaning. In addition, Incheon is a port city neighboring the capital Seoul and has 'Seoul-Incheon Industrial Complex' in it. Graduates from Inha Institute of Technology were expected to act as competent scientists and technical leaders of that complex. Really Inha Institute of Technology trained many a good technicians with short-term courses and re-educated them after. The history of university has been usually underestimated as that of mere institution. In dealing with the history of Inha University as an example, I tried to re-examine the history of university in the context of Korean history and to emphasize the importance of keeping any all records relating universities.
