선수갑판형상이 갑판침입수에 미치는 영향에 관한 실험 및 수치적 연구 (Experimental and Numerical Study on the Effects of Bow Deck Shape on the Green Water)

  • In this paper, the effects of bow deck shape on the green water are studied by numerical and experimental method. Varying the deck shapes to triangular, elliptic and circular, the thickness and advancing velocity of green water leading edge are compared using numerical method. Also the motion, the pressure on the vertical wall and the height on the deck of green water are compared among the three bow deck shapes in the heave and pitch motion free condition by experimental method. To remove the effects of the difference of motions among the deck shapes, numerical simulations are performed varying the deck shape with the same motion. In the same motion condition, smallest impulsive pressure occurred in the condition of elliptic deck shape.

  • Workers in logistics centers also are exposed to serious musculoskeletal disorders the same as workers in general manufacturing due to operating forklifts and other labor duties. The frequency of these work related injuries decreases, workers' job satisfaction In addition, it causes many employees questioning a job change, which is regarded as the primary factor which drops the productivity. In this paper, we conducted a survey ti perceive the correlation between work related injuries in the fields of distribution centers and job satisfaction. Furthermore we made statistical analysis with our findings. The results of our analysis showed that the frequency of work related injuries due to workers' repetitive loading and unloading work is the primary factor which lowers job satisfaction. In order to improve aforementioned problem we propose first of all loading and unloading on pallet basis, second of all automation and computerization of logistics systems, and third of all ensurinf sufficient break time.

컨테이너크레인(C/C)의 효율적인 예방보전에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Effective Maintenance of Container Cranes in Container Terminals)

  • 본 연구에서는 부산항 컨테이너터미널을 대상으로 컨테이너크레인(C/C)의 예방보전과 관련된 실증자료를 분석하여 장비 정비 실태를 파악하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위해서 하역장비를 효율적으로 관리하기 위한 정비성 계획과 정비성을 나타내는 정비성 지표를 제시하였다. 이어서 실증 자료를 바탕으로 하여 장비 정비 실적을 주요 지표를 중심으로 분석하고, 예방정비율(PM)과 장비 고장 간 평균 처리물량(MMBF)의 상관관계를 분석하여 예방정비의 필요성을 밝혔다.

  • 오늘날과 같이 급속히 변화하는 기업경영 환경에서 조직이 생존하고 번영하기 위해 기업의 경영 성과를 향상시켜야 하고 이를 위해서는 생산성 또는 효율성을 꾸준히 평가할 필요가 있다. 본 연구는 평가대상의 상대적 효율성을 측정하기 위해 개발된 DEA(Data Envelopment Analysis) 방법론을 이용하여 국내 컨테이너터미널 운영사의 경영 효율성을 비교 분석함으로써 2007년부터 2009년까지의 터미널 운영사의 효율성 수준을 파악해 보았다. 연구결과 2007년부터 2009년까지 점차적으로 영업이익률이 줄어드는 현상이 나타나는데, 이것은 산출변수에는 큰 변화가 없는 반면 투입변수는 지속적으로 증가하고 있다는 것을 알 수 있다. 이것은 동 기간 사이에 컨테이너터미널 업체수는 증가하였음에도 불구하고 물동량의 증가가 미미하여, 물동량 확보를 위한 터미널 업체들간의 경쟁이 치열해졌다는 것을 알 수 있다. 이러한 경쟁은 하역요율의 단가하락 문제를 발생시켰으며, 이로 인해 업체들의 경영악화가 가속되었다는 것을 의미한다. 본 연구 결과는 물동량 변화에 따른 투입변수의 최적화를 통해 컨테이너터미널 운영사의 경영효율성을 제고하는데 기여 할 것으로 판단된다.

  • According to the development of marine transportation business and the modernization and over sizing of vessel transportation equipment. shipping equipment used in the terminal are getting more atomized and speedier. thus the efficiency of shipping and discharging depends upon the degree of practice of terminal operating manpower. It means that cultivation of experts in this field is essentially needed and it is becoming a serious problem to guarantee the training programs to provide high-class. high-skilled manpower. The best result can be expected when we use the real equipment for training purposes. but it will cause many difficulties such as budget problem. To overcome this situation. we developed the Virtual Container Crane Simulator(VCCS System) which enables the operator to learn the operation of the equipment as well as safety problems within a short time. VCCS system begins with establishing the direction of operation by setting the appropriate motions for each step. and then it instructs the basic operation. It enhances the driver's ability to cope with accidents during operation and completes and completes the mastery of operating techniques with The repetition of practice.

인천항 항만하역 재해분석 및 예방대책에 관한 연구 (A Study on Analysis and Prevention for Cargo Handling Accidents in Incheon Port)

  • The port, differently from general working place, is a closed area to execute security, customs, and quarantine procedures. The loading and unloading is being done differently by cargoes, ships, berths, and equipments. To load and unload a lot of equipments and different types of labor are required, in which work flow is very complicated. As above mentioned the port is very unique and deteriorated working place including danger. The purpose of this thesis is to propose ways to analyze and establish the preventive measure for cargo handling accidents in port. We have collected 923 accidents happened at Incheon Port during the period from 1994 to 2003. And to analyze and establish the preventive measure we have employed an advanced 6sigma DMAIC technology presently in spotlight as the best tool for management innovation. For the purpose of effective safety management of cargo handling in port, this thesis will help to revise and establish the law, system, standard, and standard working manual with respect to the port loading and unloading system. Now frequency of cargo handling accidents in port is highest for the second time among all industries, so we proposed the new safety management system to substitute port safety committee and to take full charge of safety in Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries.

  • The Port treat 99.7% of freight for imports & exports in our country. So The Port is much accounted of the economy. Then the government and economy study about rasing port efficiency and productivity. But most of the studies are related with container terminal. Container is easy to treat. Because container is standardized. And it also is easy to implement to a system. But general terminal which treats bulk-cargo or general cargo is not. In this study, Stevedoring System applying PDA is developed by analyzing current system and business process. It is based on Web Service. So It is easy of access.

  • Many countries of the world is driving forward development of large-scale hub port. They are now pushing ahead with setting up of effective marketing strategies to survive in keen competitions of the 21st century port industry. The port is of ever increasing importance for the bridge connecting sea and road transportation in handling international cargoes. The port, differently from general working places, is a closed area required for security, customs, and quarantine procedures. The loading and unloading is being done differently by ports, cargoes, and ships. To do loading and unloading, a lot of equipment and different types of labor are required, which flow is complicated and safe management is essential. As above mentioned the port is very unique and very deteriorated working place in its working environment. The purpose of this study is to propose ways to reduce and prevent from port accidents. As first step to do this, we have collected 923 accidents happened at Incheon Port during the period of 1994 to 2003. We have thoroughly analyzed characteristics, harmfulness, and risk of the loading/unloading they have done, as well as the accident frequency and relationship between the accidents. As second step to further analyze, We have employed DMAIC technology, an advanced process of 6 sigma presently in spotlight as the best program for management innovation. This analysis results in recognition of important accident characteristics, causes and effects analysis, critical causes of accident, and suggestions to decrease accidents.

모바일 하버 서비스 관리 시스템 (Service Management System for Mobile Harbor)

  • 최근에 들어서 얕은 바다에서 대형 선박의 하역을 손쉽게 처리하기 위한 모바일 하버의 도입에 대한 논의와 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 대형 선박이 정박할 수 없는 얕은 바다에서도 화물을 싣고 내릴 수 있는 이동형 부두 시스템인 모바일 하버에 대하여 선박의 도착에서 하적에 이르기까지의 서비스를 자동으로 관리하는 모바일 하버 서비스 관리 시스템을 개발하였다. 이를 위해 먼저 최근에 등장한 새로운 개념인 모바일 하버의 동작 원리를 정의하고 모바일 하버와 대형 선박의 행동 특성함수를 정의하였다. 이어서 모바일 하버와 서비스 관리 시스템이 정보를 주고받는 과정을 정의하고 그에 따른 기능을 시뮬레이터로 구현하였다. 마지막으로 개발한 시뮬레이터를 이용한 모의실험을 통하여 제안한 방법의 유효성을 제시하였다.

  • This study is to find subjects for the Automated Container Terminal(ACT) development and container terminal system. Also we analyze the present condition of the container terminal system in Pusan port and its automation level by systems approach. And this paper aims at evaluating on the priority of R&D investment until the beginning of the second stage of New Pusan Port Project(2006). In this process we have considered 8 evaluation indexes(cost, labor, area, time, volume, reliability. safety, convenience) to analyze 6 subsystems. The priority of R&D until target year by sub-systems is as follow: 1. Cargo Handing System, 2. Transfer System, 3. Port Entry System, 4. Storage System (Distribution & Manufacturing System included), 5.Inland Transport System, 6.Port Management & Information System.
