  • 능동소음제어 시스템에서 많이 사용되어 온 적응 알고리듬은 filtered-X LMS (FXLMS) 알고리듬으로, 이 알고리듬에서의 수렴속도는 필터링 된 신호에 의해서 좌우되기 때문에 FXLMS 적용시 실제 수렴성능이 저하되거나 수렴이 안 되는 경우도 발생할 수 있다. 본 논문의 목적은 변환영역에서 능동소음제어 시스템의 2차 경로 모델링을 행함으로써 전체 능동소음제어 시스템 동작의 수렴성능을 향상시키려는 것이다

능동제어를 이용한 스피커 지향성의 방사특성 (Radiational characteristics of speaker directivity using active control)

  • 본 논문에서는 FXLMS(Filtered-X LMS) 알고리즘을 이용하여 지향성을 가진 배열의 스피커 시스템을 구축하고 그 방사특성을 확인하였다. 배면 위치한 스피커에서 제어대상 신호의 $180^{\circ}$ 특성에 대하여 최적화 된 필터계수에 의해 제어신호를 발생시켜 제어스피커 $0^{\circ}$ 방향 특성을 간섭시켜 제어스피커 정면 $0^{\circ}$ 특성의 억제를 하도록 하였다. 이 시스템을 이용하여 장착된 배면 스피커 배열의 방사특성을 측정하였으며 제어대상 스피커의 신호가 감쇄효과를 나타나는 것을 확인하였다. 감쇄시 적응필터계수를 이용하여 배면위치 스피커의 주파수특성과 방사특성을 구한 결과, 제어점에 있어서의 감쇄는 모든 주파수 영역에서 확인되었다. 100Hz, 200Hz, 1000Hz에서의 주파수대역에서는 정면에서 $60^{\circ}{\sim}100^{\circ}$의 범위에서 감쇄효과가 나타났다.

  • In this paper, a recurrent cerebellar modulation articulation control (RCMAC) has been developed for improvement of noise attenuation performance in active noise control system. For the narrow band noise, a filter-x least mean square (FXLMS) method has bee frequently employed as an algorithm for active noise control (ANC) and has a partial satisfactory noise attenuation performance. However, noise attenuation performance of an ANC system with FXLMS method is poor for broad band noise and nonlinear path since it has linear filtering structure. Thus, an ANC system using RCMAC is proposed to improve this problem. Some simulations in duct system using harmonic motor noise and KTX cabin noise as a noise source were executed. It is shown that satisfactory noise attenuation performance can be obtained.

  • 본 연구에서는 능동소음제어(ANC, Active Noise Control) 기술을 이용하여 공동주택의 층간소음을 저감시키는 시뮬레이션 기반 연구를 수행하였다. ANC의 층간소음 저감 활용 가능성을 검토하기 위하여 층간소음시험시설에서 가속도계와 소음 수집용 마이크로폰을 설치하여 임팩트볼 낙하에 의한 소음진동을 측정하여 Fx-LMS 알고리즘 기반의 능동소음제어 시뮬레이션을 수행하였다. 이 과정에서 적응제어 수렴계수 등의 최적 시뮬레이션 조건을 도출한 후 가속도계와 스피커 수량을 변수로 하는 수치 시뮬레이션을 통해 소음저감효과를 분석하여 제한된 조건에서 층간소음을 저감시킬 수 있는 것을 확인하였다.

  • In this paper, active noise control is performed in a duct system using the periodic pulse train which corresponds to the periodic component of noise source as a reference signal. Control algorithm applied in this study is possible to eliminate the acoustic feedback which occurs in the conventional filtered-x and filtered-u LMS algorithm by using electrical reference signal and has the fast adaptation speed with low filter orders by using synchronous sampling method is discussed via computer simulations and experiments of case studies such as frequency modulation, amplitude modulation and frequency differency between source signal and reference signal.

  • The method of induction noise reduction can be classified by using passive control or active control method. However, the passive control method has a demerit to reduce the effect of noise reduction to low frequency (below) 500Hz) range and to be limited in a space of the engine room. Whereas, the active control method can overcome the demerit of passive control method. The algorithm of active control is mostly used in LMS (Least-Mean-Square) algorithm because it can obtain the complex transfer function easily in real-time. Especially, Filtered-X LMS (FXLMS) algorithm is applied to an ANC system. However, the convergence performance of LMS algorithm could not match if the FXLMS algorithm is applied to an active control of the induction noise under rapidly accelerated driving conditions. So, in order to solve the problem in this study, the Moving Bandpass Filter(MBPF) was proposed and implemented. The ANC using MBPF for the reduction of the induction noise shows that more noise reduction as 4dB than without MBPF.

평판에서 방사되는 소음의 능동구조소음제어를 위한 변환기의 위치결정 (The Determination of Transducer Locations for Active Structural Acoustic Control of the Radiated Sound from Vibrating Plate)

  • In this paper, through the study on locations of structural transducers for active control of the radiated sound from the vibrating plate, the active structural acoustic control (ASAC) system is proposed. And, for the evaluation of the proposed location, the experiment of the active structural acoustic control is implemented using the multi-channel filtered-x LMS algorithm and an additional filter (Acoustic Prediction Filter) to estimate the radiated sound using the acceleration signals of the plate. The structural transducers are piezoceramic actuator (PZT) and accelerometer. PZT is used as an actuator to reduce the vibration and the radiated sound. To maximize the control performance, each PZT actuator is located at the position that has the largest control sensitivity of the plate bending moment in the direction of x and y coordinates and the optimal PZT location is validated experimentally. Also, to find the acoustic prediction filter accurately, two accelerometers are located at the positions that have the largest radiation efficiencies of the plate, and the proposed locations are validated by simulation using the Rayleigh integral. The multi-channel filtered-x LMS algorithm is introduced to control a complex 2-D structural vibration mode. Finding the locations of structural transducers for active structural acoustic control of the radiated sound, the active structural acoustic control (ASAC) system can be presented and validated by experiments using a real time control system.

IIR 필터를 기저로 이용한 능동소음제어 알고리즘의 설계 기법 (Design of the ANC algorithm using IIR filter bases)

  • For a lightly damped system, IIR based filter can have better performance than FIR filter as an adaptive filter in ANC algorithm. IIR based filter which has an infinite impulse response can model a lightly damped acoustic system with a small number of weights compared that of FIR filter and has no nonlinearity and instability problems on weight updating process which are associated to the conventional IIR filters. There are, however, some drawbacks such as design parameters to be determined earlier to get better performance and much increased computational power especially in the presence of error path. In this study, base filter parameters are determined in systematic manner, with the knowledge of the nominal impulse response of the system which should be identified, by Prony's method. Three methods reducing the computational load are proposed and their performance and application limits are discussed. Simulation and experimental results demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed method.

제어오차계의 가중치를 이용한 차실내 능동소음제어 시스템 연구 (A Study on the Active Noise Cancellation System in a Vehicle Cabin Using the Weighting Factors of Control Error Path)

  • The active noise cancellation system showing the effective convergence and stability has been studied by simplifying the controller structures using the weighting factors of control error path to the multi-channel filtered-x LMS algorithm which needs a lot of calculations and the performance has been verified experimentally. Besides, to implement the system performance in a vehicle cabin, experimental work for selecting the suitable numbers and positions of the microphones and speakers was accomplished. Effectively combining a TMS 320C 31 main processor conducting real number calculations and having various functions with other components, the purpose-built system board for active noise cancellation has been designed and with this board, car active noise cancellation system showing maximum stable 10dB noise reduction has been obtained at the car idling conditions above 3000rpm range.

  • 이 논문에서는 능동 소음 제어 시스템을 구성하는 요소들인 증폭기와 저주파 필터 와 같은 소자들의 비선형 특성과 공간에서의 주파수 대역에 따른 비선형 특성을 보상하여, 보다 효과적인 능동 소음 제어기를 설계하기 위해 시간 지연 신경 회로망을 이용하는 새로 운 방법을 제안한다. 공간을 포함한 2차 경로 함수를 모델링하여 보다 나은 성능을 갖는 능 동 소음 제어기를 구성하기 위한 기존의 최소 자승 오차 알고리듬에 기반한 filtered-x least mean square(LMS) 알고리듬과 오차 역전달 학습 알고리듬을 갖는 시간 지연 다층 구조 인 식자를 이용한 결과를 간단한 실험을 통하여 그 성능을 비교 분석한다.
