A study on the graphology in Korean based on relationship with personality types (한글에 대한 필적분석과 성격유형과의 관계성에 대한 연구)

  • The effort for identifying personal information for example one's personality, based on one's handwriting has been continued in foreign countries, however, there is no research on the graphology for Korean in Korea. In the area of handwriting analysis, of course, they have made attempts to identifying people depended on expert's individual ability or judgment. For these reasons, the academic approach is needed for the graphology for Korean. In this thesis, we performed the frequency analysis, test of difference, cross tabulation analysis, factor analysis, correlation analysis, regression analysis and logistic regression analysis by using the data on the test of personality diagnosis based on 5 factors method and writing habits such as the size and slope of letters for 339 adults. It can be shown that the 5 factors method has high consistency and reliability, so we accept these 5 factors as the personalities. In cross tabulation analysis, it is found that there is significant relationship between sex and the size of letters, hometown and the margin, job and habit. The correlations between 5 factors are very high and we can find the useful relationships between 5 factors and writing habit through regression analysis and correlation analysis. It is difficult and impossible to compare the Graphology between English and Korean because there are various interpretations and structures of Korean that is much different from those of English. But it is very important to try to test and analyze the Graphology in Korean to found the basic theories at the present stage when there is no research on the graphology for Korean.

  • 한글 필적학 대한 연구가 부족하여 영어에서 이루어지고 있는 결과를 통해 한글 필적학에 대한 연구의 필요성 통하여 거짓말 탐지기와 더불어 범인을 검거하는데 활용될 수 있도록 그 연구의 필요성을 조사하고자 한다. 또한, 본 연구에서는 필적을 감정하는데 객관적인 기준이 되는 시스템의 제안과 필요성을 제안하고자 한다.

褪變檔案字迹的恢復与保護

  • 퇴변한 필적을 회복하고 보호하는 것에 관계되는 여러 학과를 설립하여, 각고의 연구 끝에 이 영역에서 일련의 중대한 돌파를 얻었다. 볼펜 복사지 푸른색 먹(黑) 연필 청사진 등의 필적 재료의 퇴색 확산 회복 고정기제 및 종이 노화와 보호기제 등 복잡한 요소를 연구 분석하여 일련의 퇴변한 당안 필적 회복과 보호제를 연구 제작하였다. 이 일련의 성과가 세상에 나온 이래 중국 30개성 자치구에서 정부기관 경찰 법원 도시규획과 건설 지질 수도 전기 철로 석유 조사 설계 군사 등의 일부분 당안에서 응용되었고, 심각하게 퇴변한 대량의 진귀한 문헌 문물로 하여금 원래 모습을 회복시켰으며, 영구 보존할 필요가 있는 문건을 내구적으로 고정시킬 수 있었다. 동시에 국제 당안계 및 지질문물 수장, 연구 부분에서 강렬한 영향을 불러일으켰다.

  • VIP는 유동장을 영상기록매체에 기록하여 보존 및 재생이 가능함으로서 유동장의 재현성문제를 쉽게 해결할 수 있는 장점을 아울러 가지고 있다. 따라서, VIP는 비정상, 동시다점 계측 및 유 동장의 재현성확보가 원리적으로 가능함으로서 CFD에 필적할 수 있는 유일한 실험기법으로 평 가되고 있다. 본 해설에서는 이에 관한 내용을 개설적으로 정리하고자 하며, 상세한 것은 참고 문헌을 인용하기로 한다.

Calligraphy Style in the Early Joseon Period : An Examination of Renowned Calligraphy of Korea (《해동명적》을 통해 본 조선 초기 서풍)

  • The purpose of this paper is to understand characteristics and trends of calligraphy styles through the analysis of handwriting. Renowned Calligraphy of Korea (海東名迹, Haedong Myeongjeok) is the first collection of famous Korean calligraphers' masterpieces and was published by Shin Gongje (申公濟, 1469-1536) in the early sixteenth century. While my previous studies have focused on analyzing the publishing backgrounds of and differences among the wood block editions and stone-carved editions of the various remaining copies of Renowned Calligraphy of Korea, this study examines the calligraphy style in the early Joseon period as represented within the collection itself. This study tries to identify the aspects of style transitions among two categories of calligraphy: (1) the calligraphy style of scribes who were in charge of documentation in the central administrative institutions (館閣) and (2) the calligraphy style passed down among the Goryeong Shin clan (高靈申氏). This study verifies that various styles which emerged based on the influence of the revivalism of the late Yuan dynasty gained acceptance in the early Joseon period while the traditional Wang Xizhi style was still in use. The most notable revelation of this study is that the calligraphy style of Kangli Naonao (康里??), a Yuan dynasty calligrapher from a remote region to the west of China, appears to have become acceptable during this period. Indeed, various Yuan dynasty styles were flowing into Korea during the late Goryeo and the early Joseon period that stand in contrast to Zhao Mengfu's "pine-snow calligraphy style." Finally, the authenticity of the Eo Sukguan (魚叔權)'s record in A Storyteller's Miscellany (稗官雜記, Paegwanjapgi) is reviewed in this study. Eo claims that writing attributed to Park Gyeong in Renowned Calligraphy of Korea was actually Shin Jageon's. However, the analysis of the relationship between Shin and Park based on their backgrounds and their political positions suggests that Eo's claim is not valid.

A Study On Characteristics Of Forged Sealing Made Of Photosensitive Resin (감광성 수지로 제작된 위조 인영의 특성에 관한 연구)

  • The authenticity of a document is recognized only when sealing on the document can be recognized to be the same as the original seal of a person who drew up the document. But forge in various ways is prevalent; forge through stamp-copy, forge through photocopying, forge through computer seal sculpture machine, forge through photosensitive resin, etc. Among the methods above, a method of making a forged seal with photosensitive resin panels, which is one of the easiest forging methods, enables making a forged seal the same as the original seal through the work of projecting ultraviolet rays on a resin panel on which negative film is stuck after making it using the original seal. But as research into this reality has not been sufficiently carried on, it is difficult to identify forged sealing through photosensitive resin seals, indeed. For this reason, unless regulations about making forged seals using resin machine for print are enforced, crimes related to forged seals using photosensitive resin are expected to increase in the future. Thus, after stamping 10 resin seals made based on an original seal carved of thick and thin strokes of characters, this paper intends to clarify that there are differences between original sealing and forged sealing through sealing identification method. Consequently, we verified the significant difference in the statistics between original sealing and forged sealing.

The Study on Reconnaissance Surveying Using Terrestrial Laser Scanner (지상 라이다를 활용한 현황측량 연구)

  • Nowadays 3D terrestrial laser scanners record high precision three-dimensional coordinates of numerous points on an object surface in a short period of time. So terrestrial laser scanner is applied to a wide variety of fields including geodesy, and civil engineering, archaeology and architecture, and emergency service and defence, etc. This study deals with the potential application of terrestrial laser scanner in the reconnaissance surveying. The results shows that terrestrial laser scanner is possible to extract the linear features and the positioning accuracy of objects measured by total station surveying is comparative to that by terrestrial laser scanner. Thereafter, it is expected that the potential applications of terrestrial laser scanning will be more increased by combining terrestrial laser scanners with airborne LiDAR (Light Detection And Ranging) and photogrammetric technology.

  • We develop two methods to select a constant in the RLS (Recursive Least Squares) with the convex regularization. The RLS with the convex regularization was proposed by Eksioglu and Tanc in order to estimate the sparse acoustic channel. However the algorithm uses the regularization constant which needs the information about the true channel response for the best performance. In this paper, we propose two methods to select the regularization constant which don't need the information about the true channel response. We show that the estimation performance using the proposed methods is comparable with the Eksioglu and Tanc's algorithm.

Minimum Density Power Divergence Estimation for Normal-Exponential Distribution (정규-지수분포에 대한 최소밀도함수승간격 추정법)

  • The minimum density power divergence estimation has been a popular topic in the field of robust estimation for since Basu et al. (1988). The minimum density power divergence estimator has strong robustness properties with the little loss in asymptotic efficiency relative to the maximum likelihood estimator under model conditions. However, a limitation in applying this estimation method is the algebraic difficulty on an integral involved in an estimation function. This paper considers a minimum density power divergence estimation method with approximated divergence avoiding such difficulty. As an example, we consider the normal-exponential convolution model introduced by Bolstad (2004). The estimated divergence in this case is too complicated; consequently, a Laplace approximation is employed to obtain a manageable form. Simulations and an empirical study show that the minimum density power divergence estimators based on an approximated estimated divergence for the normal-exponential model perform adequately in terms of bias and efficiency.

  • (Li,Al)$MnO_2(OH)_2$:Co compound was synthesized by hydrothermal method. $MnO_2$, LiOH.$H_2$O, $Co_3O_4$ and $Al(OH)_3$ were used as starting materials and the optimum conditions for synthesis of monolithic (Li,Al)$MnO_2(OH)_2$:Co compound were as follows : reaction temperature; $200^{\circ}C$, reaction time; 3 days, hydrothermal solvent; 3M-KOH solution, reaction apparatus; seesaw type, atomic ratio of Li:Al:Mn;Co = 1:2.1:2.5~2:0.5~1. Monolithic(Li,Al)$MnO_2(HO)_2$:Co compound synthesized in this work had a god crystallinity and excellent color forming effect as a blue pigment compatible with natural mineral. The particles of the synthesized (Li,Al)$MnO_2(OH)_2$:Co compound have hexagonal plate shape with the size of 0.5~1 $\mu\textrm{m}$.
