The purpose of this study is to improve guidelines for public library services to deaf community in Korea. For this study, literature review, case study and survey were performed. Based upon the results, the mandatory and optional elements were suggested within the framework of "Standards and Guidelines for Library Services for the Disabled" developed by National Library Support Center for the Disabled in Korea in 2009. Based upon these elements, public libraries should modify and supplement the guidelines reflecting the local circumstances. Eventually, this guideline will help librarians to provide professional and effective library services to deaf people.

In this paper, we describe a question-answering system which extracts answers for the superlative questions which include the superlative words such as "the most", "the best", "the first", "the largest", "the least", and so on. The superlative questions are composed of four main components and others. Four main components are the superlative word, answer type, regional information, and a verb modified by the superlative word. We classify the superlative words into two types as to whether the verb has to be needed to be a question or not. The superlative word, answer type and regional information are essential elements to extract answer for all superlative questions. But the verb may be an essential element by the type of superlative word. Our system analyzes input question, and finds four main components of the superlative question. Also, our system searches relative documents and candidate sentences using them, and extracts answers from candidate sentences. Empirical result shows that our system has high precision and high recall for the superlative questions.

Associations of archivists and professional communities all over the world have released criteria and code of ethics which provide solutions of ethical problems in practical uses to make their professional positions to be kept. This study aims to analyze some of existing codes of ethics established by association of archivists and suggest model of ethic codes for archivists with essential aspects. Selected associations of archivists are SAA(Society of American Archivists), SA(Society of Archivists), ACA(Association of Canadian Archivists), ASA(Australian Society of Archivists), ICA(International Council on Archives). Five codes of ethics were selected for analysis and comparison from these associations and compared with ethics for achival management, archival information service and professional activities. This study consider essential aspects in the electronic records environment.

사이버 금융 시스템은 안정적이어야 한다. 은행 시스템에서 거래 내용이 누락되거나 월말 업무 폭주 등으로 인한 전산 시스템 마비가 오는 경우가 있었고, 최근 인터넷 증권 시스템이 고객 숫자에 비해 용량이 부족하다는 점이 지적되고 있다. 사용자 수의 급증, 정전 등의 사태에 안정적으로 대응할 수 있는 시스템 구축이 필수적이다. 사이버 금융 시스템 구축 방안에 대해 살펴본다.

전기용품안전기준은 안전한 기기를 설계하고 제조하기 위새서는 필수적이다. 기준은 안전성을 만족할 만한 수준을 이루기 위한 최소한의 필수 사항을 규격화 하여 제시되었다. 따라서 안전기준 및 시험방법을 이해하는 것은 제조업체의 품질경영과 제품안전성 제고에 필수적이라고 할 수 있다 따라서 본고에서는 전기용품안전기준의 개념과 대상이 되는 위험요소 및 방지책에 대해서 설명하고, 안전기준 K 60335를 근거로 하여 규격 및 시험에 관한 일반적인 조건 및 항목들을 제시하고자 한다.
