Neural Net Based User Feedback Learning Mechanism for Distributed Information Retrieval (분산 정보 검색을 위한 신경망 기반 사용자 피드백 학습 메카니즘)

  • Since documents on the Web are naturally partitioned into many document databases, the efficient information retrieval process requires identifying the document databases that are most likely to provide relevant documents to the query and then querying the identified document databases. We propose a neural net based user feedback learning mechanism for such an efficient information retrieval. Presented learning mechanism learns about underlying document databases using the relevance feedbacks obtained from user's retrieval experiences. For a given query, the learning mechanism, which is sufficiently trained, discovers the document databases associated with the relevant documents and retrieves those documents effectively.

웹사이트간 신뢰전이에 있어서 아바타가 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

  • 기업이나 단체는 고객과의 관계형성 강화와 충성도를 높이기 위해 온라인 커뮤니티를 조직 차원에서 활성화하고 있고, 개인들은 사회 연결망(social network) 강화를 위해 개인의 관심사${\cdot}$가치${\cdot}$흥미${\cdot}$문화 등에 따라 특정 온라인 커뮤니티 사이트를 통해서 다양한 정보 획득과 구성들 간의 관계를 형성해 가고 있다. 이러한 추세에 힘입어 온라인 커뮤니티 사용자들은 상호작용성을 높이기 위해 아바타를 커뮤니케이션의 전달매체로 활용하는 경향이 있다. 본 연구는 아바타가 웹사이트 간 신뢰전이에 어떻게 영향을 미치고, 아바타 유무와 아바타 유형에 따라 신뢰전이가 어떤 차이가 나는지를 실증분석을 통해 검증하였다. 첫째, SERI와 SERI 포럼 사이트간에 신뢰전이가 부분적으로 발생하고 있으며, SERI 포럼 내에서는 변수들간의 모든 가설이 모두 유의하게 검증되었다. 둘째, 아바타 유형에 따라 SERI와 SERI 포럼 사이트간에 신뢰전이가 발생하는데 차이가 나타났다. 셋째, 모(母) 사이트의 신뢰는 자(子) 사이트의 품질요인과 포럼활동 만족도에 직${\cdot}$간접적으로 일부분 영향을 미쳤다. 다만, 중개자 신뢰는 시스템신뢰에는 유의한 영향을 주지 못하며, 피드백 메커니즘은 정보 품질과 시스템품질에 유희한 영향을 주지 못한다.

  • 본 논문에서는 웹 정보검색을 위한 신경망 기반 멀티 에이전트 시스템을 제안한다. 제안된 시스템에서 각 에이전트는 신경망 메카니즘을 이용하여 사용자의 관련도 피드백으로부터 환경을 학습하고 사용자가 원하는 정보를 제공하는 자원을 찾아내어 효율적으로 웹 정보를 검색한다. 먼저 신경망 기반 웹 정보 검색 에이전트를 제시하고 단일 에이전트 기법을 사용할 경우의 문제점을 분석한다. 이를 기반으로 하여 멀티 에이전트 웹 정보 검색 시스템을 정의하고 사용자로부터 정보 검색 지식을 습득하기위한 훈련절차를 기술하며 협동적 정보 검색에 대해 설명한다. 마지막으로 제안된 시스템의 성능을 정형적으로 분석하고 실험을 통하여 기존의 검색 서비스와 비교 평가한다.

  • PID controllers with constant gains have been widely used in various control systems due to its powerful performance and easy implementation. But it is difficult to have uniformly good control performance in all operating conditions. In this paper, we propose a nonlinear variable PR controller with immune feedback mechanism. An immune feedback mechanism is based on the functioning of biological T-cells, they include both an active term, which controls response speed. and an inhibitive term, which controls stabilization effect. Therefore, the proposed nonlinear PID controller is based on immune responses of biological. immune feedback mechanism which is the cell mediated immunity and In order to choose the optimal nonlinear PID controller games, we also propose the tuning algorithm of nonlinear function parameter in immune feedback mechanism. To verify performance of the proposed algorithm, the speed control of nonlinear DC motor are performed. Front the simulation results, we have found that the proposed algorithm is more superior to the conventional constant fain PID controller.

  • 본 연구에서는 시스템다이내믹스(System Dynamics, SD) 방법론에 입각하여 국내의 신기술인증제도(New Technology Certification System, NTCS)의 운영에 내재된 요소들 간의 상호관계를 신기술 개발투자, 신기술의 사업화 및 신기술에 의한 매출과 연관하여 피드백루프 메카니즘을 내포하고 있는 인과지도로 규명하였다. 이렇게 개념화된 인과지도는 국내의 여러 신기술인증제도 중 환경부에서 운영중인 '환경신기술인증 및 기술검증제도(New Excellent Technology and Environmental Technology Verification, NET & ETV)'에 적용되었으며 NET & ETV의 운영 성과를 신기술에 의한 매출액(수주금액)의 관점에서 분석 및 예측할 수 있는 SD 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션 모델이 개발되었다. 개발된 SD 모형은 NET & ETV 운영의 주요 지표에 관한 기존 통계자료를 적절히 모사하였으며 모형의 검증과정에서 시행착오를 통하여 산정된 값들은 NET & ETV의 일반적인 과거 상태를 합리적인 범위 내에서 적절하게 나타내고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구에서는 개발된 SD모형을 이용하여 기본시나리오에 대한 NET & ETV의 미래 운영 상태를 예측하였으며, 환경신기술의 적용 현장 당 수주금액에 대한 시간 추세선식의 민감도를 발견하였다.

Development of a System Dynamics Model to Support the Decision Making Processes in the Operation and Management of Water Supply Systems (상수도 시스템의 운영 및 유지관리 의사결정 지원을 위한 시스템다이내믹스 모형의 개발)

  • In this paper the feedback loop mechanisms that are inherent in the management of water supply systems were identified based on the system dynamics modeling methodology. As a result, a system dynamics (SD) computer simulation model that can be used to aid efficient management of water supply systems was developed. The developed SD model can be used to predict operating conditions of water supply systems including the effects of pipe maintenance on the entire system. The developed model is consisted of water supply, pipe maintenance and water supply business finance model. The operation and maintenance data from a study water supply system were used to verify the model and to predict the past and future operating conditions of the system. The policy leverage that greatly affects the operating condition was evaluated by the sensitivity analyses for the operational indices due to changes in the exogenous variables. It was found that while the pipe maintenance related exogenous variables had great effects on the leakage and conditions of pipes, they did not have great effects on the major operational indices such as revenue water ratio. It is considered that the social costs due to leaks and pipe breaks and the corresponding mechanism of propagation of the costs must be modeled to better evaluate the effects of pipe maintenance on the operational conditions of water supply systems.

Estimation of Weld Bead Shape and the Compensation of Welding Parameters using a hybrid intelligent System (하이브리드 지능시스템을 이용한 용접 파라메타 보상과 용접형상 평가에 관한 연구)

  • For efficient welding it is necessary to maintain stability of the welding process and control the shape of the welding bead. The welding quality can be controlled by monitoring important parameters, such as, the Arc Voltage, Welding Current and Welding Speed during the welding process. Welding systems use either a vision sensor or an Arc sensor, both of which are unable to control these parameters directly. Therefore, it is difficult to obtain necessary bead geometry without automatically controlling the welding parameters through the sensors. In this paper we propose a novel approach using fuzzy logic and neural networks for improving welding qualify and maintaining the desired weld bead shape. Through experiments we demonstrate that the proposed system can be used for real welding processes. The results demonstrate that the system can efficiently estimate the weld bead shape and remove the welding detects.

A Study on USA, Japan and India Stock Market Integration - Focused on Transmission Mechanism - (미국, 일본, 인도 증권시장 통합에 관한 연구 - 정보전달 메카니즘을 중심으로 -)

  • This article has examined the international transmission of returns among S&P500, Nikkei225 and SENSEX stock index cash markets using the daily closing prices covered from January 4, 2002 to February 6, 2009. For this purpose we employed dynamic time series models such as the Granger causality analysis and variance decomposition analysis based on VAR model. The main empirical results are as follows; First, according to Granger causality tests we find that S&P500 stock index has a significant prediction power on the changes of SENSEX and Nikkei225 stock index market and vice versa. However, US stock market's influence is dominant to the other stock markets at a significant level statistically. Second, according to variance decomposition, SENSEX stock index is more sensitive to the movement of S&P500 than that of Nikkei225 stock index. These kinds of empirical results shows that the three stock markets are integrated over times and these results will be informative for the international investors to build the world-wide investment portfolio and risk management strategies, etc.
