Proposing the Slab Thickness that Satisfies the Vertical Floor Vibration Criteria for Several Sizes of Flat Plate Floor System (수직진동 사용성을 고려한 플렛플레이트 두께 제안)

  • The floor thickness in residential buildings may not satisfy the floor vibration criteria even though the thickness is determined by the serviceability requirements in current design provisons. Thus it is necessary to develop the procedure to determine slab thickness that satisfies the floor vibration criteria. In this study provide the methods to determine the slab thickness that satisfies the vertical floor vibration criteria for several sizes of flat plate floor system. Randomness inherent in young modulus of concrete and heel drop intensity was accounted. For this purpose Monte Carlo simulation procedure was adopted.

  • Haeundae Doosan We've The Zenith project is adjacent to Suyoung-bay, now it is in the process of excavation and foundation work. The main use of the tower is residence which height is 300m and 80 floor, the highest residential reinforced concrete building through the Orient. It is comprised of 3 high- rised buildings and 1 low-rised building, the basement is 230m wide and 200m length sized mass structure. The lateral resistance system is acted effectively against the lateral load and satisfactorily against the wind vibration by the 4 direction extension of the center core wall($700{\sim}800mm$ thickness) and reinforced concrete column set around the slab. Flat-plate slab system(250mm thickness) is adjusted for the slab system and it enables effective work process and shortening the working term by minimizing the ceiling height and not needing to install perimeter beam and drop panel. The strength and serviceability of the structure is able to be monitored and estimated constantly through the health monitoring system during the construction and after the construction.

  • Flat plate system has many advantages, story height reduction, a term of works shortening and changeableness of space, etc. However structures become a tendency of higher stories and when we use RC column, the size of column grow larger. For this reason the use of CFT column is increasing more and more. Accordingly, this study carried out the nonlinear finite element analysis. As a result of analysis moment strength of the connection increased but ductility decreased as the top reinforcement ratio in th effective width increased. And moment strength and ductility of the connection decreased as gravity load ratio decreased. In the case that shearhead length is not more than 0.27m, the effectiveness of shearhead length on the moment strength and ductility of the connection were small relatively to other variables. Initial stiffness and moment strength of connection increased as slab thickness increased
