HEV: A Review (하이브리드 전기 자동차(HEV) 기술동향)

  • Hybrid Electric Vehicle(HEV) and Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle(PHEV) will replace Conventional Gasolene Engine Vehicle at a rapid rate to eliminate emission gases and improve fuel economy. This review describes Fuzzy Logic Control strategy and Optimization for Parallel Hybrid Electric Vehicle. Recent progress on Electric Motor and Li-ion Battery for HEV and PHEV are given. Analysis on competitiveness of Korean HEV and PHEV technology based on the number of papers published and patents registered are also performed.

Components sizing of powertrain for a Parallel Hybridization of the Mid-size Low-Floor Buses (중형저상버스 병렬형 하이브리드화를 위한 동력전달계 용량매칭)

  • Most studies on hybrid buses are on large-sized buses and not mid-sized low-floor buses. This study uses MATLAB simulation to evaluate the fuel efficiency of such buses powered by diesel. Based on the results, a hybrid electric vehicle system is recommended for the best combination of power and gear ratio. A parallel hybrid system was selected for the hybridization, which transmits front and rear wheel power independently. The necessary power to satisfy the target performance was calculated, and the applicable capacity area was designed. Dynamic programing was used to create and optimize a component sizing algorithm, which was used to scale the capacity of each component of the power source to satisfy the design criteria. The fuel efficiency rate, optimum power source capacity, and gear ratio can be improved by converting a conventional bus into a parallel hybrid bus.

  • 일반적으로 가장 간단한 구조의 배터리 충전장치는 교류를 직류로 변환하기 위한 다이오드 정류기와 직류의 크기를 변환하기 위한 컨버터로 구성되어 있다. 하지만, 이러한 구조로 되어있는 충전장치의 경우 입력단 역률저하로 인하여 전력변환장치에 과도전류나 파형의 왜곡 현상 등을 초래하게 되고, 정류기와 컨버터로 구성되는 2단 전력변환구조이기 때문에 효율에도 좋지 않은 영향을 미치게 된다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 역률제어가 가능한 단일 컨버터 구조를 갖는 플러그인 하이브리드 전기자동차용 42V 배터리 충전장치를 연구하였다. 본 논문에서 연구한 배터리 충전장치는 PWM 방식의 AC-DC Buck 컨버터를 이용한 전력 변환장치와 입력단 역률제어 및 컨버터 출력을 제어하기위한 제어기로 구성되어있다. 본 논문에서 연구한 배터리 충전장치는 시뮬레이션을 통하여 역률제어 및 컨버터 출력을 확인하고 그 타당성을 검토하였다.

  • Many countries are concentrating on the development of electric vehicle technology with increasing concerns about the global environment. Along with these concerns, plug-in hybrid electric vehicles(PHEVs) are being developed as environment-friendly cars which reduce greenhouse gas emissions and also eliminate the problem of range anxiety associated to all-electric vehicles, because the combustion engine works as a backup when the batteries are depleted. In this paper, electric equipments of the PHEV which meet the target specifications were developed, and their performance was proven through confirmatory testing on the PHEV at Korea Automotive Technology Institute(KATECH).

Study on the Power-Grid Impact and Optimal Charging Control Strategy with PHEV Market Penetration (PHEV 시장 형성 시 전력망에 미치는 영향 및 최적 충전 제어 전략에 관한 연구)

  • Plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) with capability of being recharged from the power-grid will reduce oil consumption. Also, the PHEV will affect the utility operations by adding additional electricity demand for charging. In this research, the power-grid impact by demand of PHEV charging is presented and the optimal charging control strategy for utility operators is proposed with simulated data. The penetration of PHEV is assumed to be 50% in the circumstances of Korean passenger car market and Korean power-grid market limitedly. To obtain smooth load shape and utilize the surplus electricity in power-grid at midnight and dawn, the peak of charging demand should be controlled to be located before 4:00 a.m., and the time slot which can supply the electricity power to PHEV should be allowed between 1:00 a.m.$\sim$7:00 a.m.

  • 본 논문에서는 전기자동차 (Electric Vehicles, EVs) 및 플러그인 하이브리드 자동차 (Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles, PHEVs)용 통합형 배터리 충전기의 토폴로지 구성에 따른 동작 및 성능 특성을 비교한다. 기존에 제안된 통합형 배터리 충전기를 토대로 개별 모듈에 적용 가능한 토폴로지를 검토한다. 또한, 검토한 모듈의 통합을 위한 양방향 구현 시 동작 및 성능을 비교한다. 이를 통해 선정된 토폴로지들이 가질 수 있는 조합들을 구성하고, 상호간의 영향을 분석한다. 분석한 결과를 기반으로 각각의 조합의 성능 및 특성의 시뮬레이션을 통한 비교추이를 제시한다.

  • 본 논문은 전기자동차 (Electric Vehicles, EVs) 및 플러그인 하이브리드 자동차 (Plug-In Hybrid Electric Vehicles, PHEVs)용 리튬 이온 (Li-Ion) 배터리 충전을 위한 3.3 kW급 차량 탑재형 (On-Board) 충전기 하드웨어의 설계 및 제작에 대하여 기술한다. 차량 실장 특성을 고려하여 부하직렬공진형 dc-dc 컨버터를 적용하고, 80-130kHz의 고주파 스위칭 및 ZVS (Sero-Voltage Switching) 기법을 통해 수동소자의 크기를 최적화하여 5.84L, 5.8kg의 저부피, 경량을 달성한다. 전자부하를 대상으로 정전류 (Continuous Current, CC) 및 정전압 (Continuous Voltage, CV) 제어를 수행하여 93%의 고효율 획득 및 성능을 검증한다.

  • 본 논문에서는 일반 가정용 전원으로 친환경 차량의 배터리를 충전할 수 있는 On-board charger를 위한 단일단 능동클램프 하프브리지 컨버터를 제안한다. 제안하는 컨버터는 4개의 스위칭 소자를 가지며 전 듀티영역에서 ZVS가 성취되므로 스위칭 주파수를 높일 수 있다. 시뮬레이션을 통하여 타당성 및 성능을 검증하였다.

  • This paper proposes an approach for measuring voltage of high voltage(HV) battery of plug-in hybrid electric vehicle(PHEV) and battery electric vehicle(BEV). The proposed methods use isolation resistor and isolation amplifier in order to measure high voltage which should be electrically separated from measuring circuit. In terms of practical applications their advantages and disadvantage are discussed and key design points are addressed by simulations. More importantly, the proposed methods are applicable to various applications such as on-board charger, inverter and battery management system (BMS) which are directly connected to HV battery in PHEV and BEV.

By using the server of the company that provides an Video communication solutions, were limited by using its own network that you can use to build a separate server for performing Video communication another, using specific software and user groups it was a mechanism for using the Video communication environment. In addition, must be installed separately and ActiveX, plug-in and, use of the service has become possible. Therefore, in this paper, utilizing the real-time Video communication Web-based technology without installing the plug-in, real-time through a Web browser or Active-X of another using a script HTML5 and the Web on the Internet Using HTTP in an environment in the Internet is possible, I've implemented a system capable of Video communication.
