  • It is important to study the energy efficient MAC protocol in sensor networks. We propose a new protocol named as ELM?MAC (Energy efficient Link Management MAC) to increase energy efficiency in sensor networks. ELM-MAC protocol operates, uses, and manages the optimized transmission power level to increase energy efficiency in MAC layer. It includes mechanism that uses the adaptive method in change of surround environment for guarantee of link quality. In this paper we implement ELM-MAC and evaluate its performance.

  • Recently, the ERO protocol has been adopted as a standard to protect the routing optimization mode introduced by MIPv6. This protocol uses the public key cryptography and the early binding update method to improve the Return Routeability protocol while optimizing both security and performance. On the other hand, though various security approaches including the ERO protocol have been proposed for MIPv6, they lack formal verification. Especially, to our best knowledge, there is no formal analysis on the ERO protocol. In order to provide a good example for formal analysis on MIPv6 security protocols, this paper verifies the correctness of the ERO protocol through BAN-logic. For this goal, BAN-logic is extended to consider the address tests on the mobile nodes's CoA and HoA. It is expected that the analysis presented in this paper will be useful for the formal verifications on the security protocols related to MIPv6.

  • In mobile Internet environment, providing multicast requires much more complex mechanism comparing with the unicast Mobile IP routing protocol. This is because multicast datagrams are sent to a group address that do not belong to a specific network. The IETF Mobile IP suggested two approaches for mobile multicasting, namely remote subscription and hi-directional tunneling. In remote subscription, a mobile node may join a group via a local multicast router on the visited subnet. Therefore remote subscription may cause much datagram loss while reconstructing the delivery tee. In bi-directional tunneling, a mobile node may join a group via a hi-directional tunnel to its home agent. Bi-directional tunneling may suffer from inefficient routing. In this paper, we proposed a new mobile multicasting protocol, Mobile If Multicast using Local Broadcast(MIMLB) which can receive multicast datagrams as fast as possible and optimize routing path for multicast delivery. The MIMLB protocol uses hi-directional tunneling to receive multicast datagrams. And the MIMLB protocol can resolve datagram duplicated problem and optimize routing path by using local broadcast. Simulation results show that MIMLB reduces delivery path length and optimizes multicast routing path when a mobile nod? moves into a foreign network.

  • In this Paper, we proposed optimization of system performance, optimal splitting factor applied to power splitting protocol with relay in the cooperative communication undergo co-channel interference. We can possible to optimize and maximize the channel capacity of the receiver through optimal factor of splitting protocol. So, we can solve inability in system, and to increase the efficiency of the network. Finally, performance of the proposed protocol is analyzed in terms of outage probability, capacity of system.

  • Network Mobility (NEMO) basic support protocol doesn't execute the process of route optimization and has not presented the particular security mechanism in other blocks except hi-directional tunnel between Mobile Router (MR) and its Home Agent (HA). Therefore in this paper we process secure route optimization courses through authenticated binding update protocol between MR and its Correspondent Node (CN) and the protocol of the competency of mandate between MR and its Mobile Network Node (MNN); its block also uses an bi-directional tunnel as the block between MR and its HA. The address of each node are generated by the way of Cryptographically Generated Address (CGA) for proving the ownership of address. Finally we analyze the robustness of proposed protocol using security requirements of MIPv6 and existing attacks and the efficiency of this protocol using the connectivity recovery and end-to-end packet transmission delay time.

  • The routing optimization mode, which Mobile IPv6 provides for the direct communication between a mobile node and its correspond node, introduces various security threats, thus causing several protocols to be proposed for the secure binding update procedure. In particular, the Kang-Park protocol, which Kang and Park presented in 2005, achieves the optimized cryptographic operations and the strong security, while based on its unique security proxy structure. In spite of such advantages, it has some drawbacks in terms of security and efficiency. This paper improves the Kang-Park protocol through the strong CoA validation and early binding update methods. Also, we show that the improved protocol is better than others.

  • IETF's Mobile IP protocol allows Mobile Node(MN) to keep connection to Correspondent Node(CN) no matter what the MN changes its point of attachment to the Internet. However, the protocol incurs triangle routing problem, because all packets for the MN are routed through its Home Agent(HA). Route optimization mechanism is proposed by IETF in order to resolve triangle routing problem, but it requires that any node in the Internet should also implement route optimization mechanism. In this paper, we propose a new route optimization algorithm. With the algorithm, routers between HA and CN are considered as Intermediate Agent(IA), and packets transmitted by CN are not forwarded to HA but intercepted by IA and tunneled to MN directly.

  • Hierarchical Prefix Delegation (HPD) protocol refers to a type of solution to problems inherent in non-optimal routing which occurs with Network Mobility (NEMO) basic solution. However, because HPD cannot improve the micro-mobility Problems, Problem surfaces each time Mobile Network Node (MNN) changes the attachment point; as happens also in a Mobile IPv6 (MIPv6) protocol in sen야ng Binding Update (BU) messages to Home Agent (HA) / Correspondent Nodes(CNs) By applying Hierarchical Mobile IPv6 protocol concept to HPD, this study Proposes an algorithm for effectively handling micro-mobility problems which occur with HPD in a nested NEMO environment. By sending BU only to nearby Mobility Anchor Point(MAP) during MNN location change within a MAP's domain, the proposed protocol will alleviate service disruption delays and signaling loads during the handover process, overcoming the limitations of HPD.
