Recently, international plants construction markets are expending. Specially, oil/gas plants constructions in Middle-East are booming. However, international plants construction projects are high risky. So a risk assessments and managements methodology for international plants construction is needed. In this study, the risk assessment methodology for international plants construction is proposed on the basis of the literature review in the international construction risk assessment methods and the knowledge of experts explored by interview. In addition, case study in Middle East was applied for reviewing these risk assessments and managements methodology for international plants construction.

Recently, utilization of PMIS(Project Management Information System) is in high demand as it is desired to advance the construction market through cost reduction and quality improvement within the given schedule. However, PMIS developed by individual projects are mostly evolving around construction progress status due to the temporary nature of development period and use of the system by project executers is no more than perfunctory that results in limiting the effective communication between the project owner, project manager and constructor. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to review the PMIS developed so far, and present the direction for an effective PMIS.

The slowdown of the global economic market due to the pandemic is causing the global construction market to stagnate, and the use of smart construction technology is drawing attention as one of the main alternatives to overcome this problem. In fact, a number of previous studies have been published that smart construction technologies such as building information modeling and drones can contribute to project performance improvement, such as productivity improvement and cost reduction. However, previous studies focus on the application direction and technical effectiveness of smart construction technology, so the analysis in terms of the contribution that the application of the technology has to the project performance is insufficient. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to focus on the effectiveness aspect of the application of smart construction technology on the project performance. The results of this study are expected to be able to be used as basic data for establishing policies related to the activation of smart construction technology promoted by the government and setting the direction for the use of smart construction technology by stakeholders.

The project management information system (PMIS) has recently been developed by using the information technology(IT) in order to implement advanced information management technology to construction industry in Korea. The PMIS has been applied not only to domestic construction projects, but also to some overseas projects executed by Korean construction companies. This study was performed to develop the PMIS that is tailored to the US construction IT market. It has been monopolized by the US-based IT companies, but other companies are recently emerging with competitive technology and market strategy. As a preceding study, existing commercially available systems were analyzed, and the required features of the PMIS were identified by analyzing the core elements of contract, process and cost management about construction projects in the US. Then, the PMIS was developed based on the aforementioned analysis results. The system includes the document management module with an internal electronic approval system, the cost-plus-based automatic labor cost calculation module, and the progress management module to support the integrated project cost management. In addition, the functionality of the developed system was verified by experts about construction management in the US via questionnaire survey. The developed PMIS, in this study, is expected to be applied not only to the US construction IT market as a system specialized for the US construction industry, but also to other oversea markets in the future.

The construction of Pusan National University Yangsan Hospital is a new construction of a medical town in Yangsan. It is a case that CMr participated in the project from planning to post-completion. It shows an actual proof of Construction Management business applied CM by each phase. In this case, CMr selected the design-build contractor in the planning phase and technically performed CM businesses in every single phase such as design and construction schedule management regarding application of Fast Track technique, procurement management and contract administration in phases based on the Fast-tract; technique, design review, VE in the design phase, change order management in the construction phase and operating and maintenance in the post-construction phase. This study would go far toward applying CM to Mega Turnkey projects by analyzing the problems of CMr's practical application to the project and providing guidelines for effective and efficient CM business implementation especially in the Turnkey projects.

The main purpose of Construction Management(CM) is the improvement of efficiency and effectiveness of the project with construction methodologies systematically and technically. This pilot project Dong Myeong Service Area and Gas Station project among 5 projects designated and supervised by Ministry of Construction and transportation(MOCT), is to reduce cost, to maintain and control schedule, to keep proper quality, Claim and Risk through Partnering, Design Review, Constructability, Value Engineering and Project Management Information System(PMIS) and so on. Major factors of CM Plan are introduction of the phased and classified Construction Management Services from initiation of project to completion and adaptation of CM technologies and guide the implementation methodologies of the CM Pilot Project in CM construction market.

내전 후 전쟁 상처를 복구 중에 있는 이라크는 주택, 인프라, 사회 서비스망 구축의 필요에 따라 지난 2010년 이라크 기획청(Ministry of Planning, MOP)이 이라크의 삶의 질 개선을 위한 국가개발계획(Iraq National Development Plan, 2010 ~ 2014)을 수립하고 15개 주정부와 쿠르드 자치정부 지역에 100만호 주거 시설 제공을 위한 국가 주택 프로그램을 발표했다. 이에 따라 2017년까지 주택과 교통인프라, 에너지, IT, 의료, 보안 등에 걸쳐 총 2,750억불(약 300조원)을 이라크 재건사업에 투자할 계획이다. 또 2030년까지는 에너지 분야에 5,000억불 투자 등 정유공장, 발전소, 도로, 인프라, 공공시설 및 군시설 등 다양한 분야에 최소 7,000억불에 달하는 예산을 투입할 예정이다. 한화건설은 지난 2012년 80억 달러 규모의 이라크 비스마야 신도시 건설공사를 수주해 우리나라 해외건설 역사상 최대 규모의 프로젝트 기록을 세웠다. 또한 이 계약으로 우리나라 해외건설 누적 수주액 5,000억 달러 돌파에 크게 기여했다. 윤창기공(주)(대표 백종윤)는 비스마야 현장에서 PC 플랜트 현장의 기계설치공사와 하우징 현장의 기계설비 및 소방공사를 담당하고 있다. 본지는 이라크 현장에 있는 윤창기공(주) 정몽준 소장과 김용우 소장을 이메일로 만나 보았다.

기업의 생산성 향상과 비용절감, 그리고 세계화로 표현되는 거래다각화를 위해 각 기업은 앞다투어 기업간 전자거래시스템을 도입하고 있다. 철강산업에 속한 기업들도 예외는 아니어서 원부자재의 구매나 철강제품의 판매분야에 인터넷 전자거래시스템을 도입하기 위해 노력하고 있다. 전자거래시스템에 의해 각 기업들은 e-marketplace를 중심으로 기업간의 상품정보를 공유하고, 가상공간에서 사이버거래를 성사시키며 거래 후 계약이행에 이르기까지 각종 업무를 인터넷을 통해 처리하게 될 것이다. 하지만 현재까지 국내에 구축된 수많은 기업간 전자거래시스템은 데이터의 표준화 부재로 인해 실질적인 효과를 나타내지 못하고 있다. 즉, 전자거래에 참여하는 각 기업이 정보의 공유나 교환에 의한 전자거래 효과를 전혀 얻지 못하고 있는 것이다. 이러한 측면에서 거래 데이터나 컨텐츠의 표준화는 기업간 전자거래 인프라의 측면에서 그 무엇보다 중요한 사항이라 볼 수 있다. 본 고에서는 현재 진행중인 철강산업 MRO(Maintenance, Repair, Operations)자재 표준화 프로젝트의 추진방향 및 문제점과 해결방안에 대해 간단히 소개하고자 한다.

본 논문에서는 VoIP를 이용한 어플리케이션을 제안한다. 네트워크 프로토콜인 VoIP와 SIP를 이용하여 영상통화 어플리케이션을 제작하고자 한다. SIP 프록시서버를 이용하여 송/수신자간에 안드로이드 어플리케이션을 사용하여 음성은 물론 영상까지 통화 가능한 어플리케이션이다. 또한, 본 시스템에서는 더 나아가서 송/수신자간의 통화전에 사전에 계약한 광고주의 광고들을 보여줌으로써 광고수익을 창출 할 수 있는 시스템을 개발하고자 한다.

SI(System Integration) Projects need more efficient project processes. Having efficient contracting laws and regulations is one of the critical success factors for SI industry growth. Former researches developed a framework for efficient contracting laws and regulations for SI industry based on the characteristics of SI business and SI industry. However, the effectiveness of the proposed framework has not been analyzed. This paper tests the validity and effectiveness of the proposed framework. Emprical analysis has been performed to show consensus of each interested parties. Developers and outsourcers have some conflicts in several critical issues of SI project processes. However, comprehensive analysis shows overall consensus among interested parties.
