Development of Operation System for Unmaned Automatic Navigation Vehicle for Water Quality Sampling (자율항법 자동수질측정 무인선박장치 운영시스템 개발)

  • 농업용저수지 수질측정 현황은 17,600여 개소 농업용저수지 중 농업용수 수질측정망 조사시설은 저수지 800개소이며, 농업용 호소로서 환경부 조사 시행 호소수질측정망시설 26개소(저수지 16개소, 담수호 10개소)를 포함한 826개소를 대상으로 농업용수 수질을 분석 평가하고 있다. 저수지 자율항법 자동수질측정을 위하여 개발한 운영시스템은 내용적측정 무인탐사선과의 연계운항 제어모듈 개발 및 저수지 수질측정을 위한 최적항로 운항모듈을 개발하였다. 자율항법 무인탐사선의 자동수질 측정을 위한 운항 제어 알고리즘 설계를 위하여 기존의 자율항법 탐사선의 운항 알고리즘과 수질자동 측정장치 제어 알고리즘을 분석하여 연계 제어모듈을 설계하고 프로그래밍 하였다. 운영과정은 선박운영 프로그램에서 수질모니터링 프로그램으로 Operation Start 명령을 전송하면 수질모니터링 프로그램에서 이 명령을 수신한 이후에 윈치제어 및 수질측정, 각 해당 수심에서 시료채수를 수행한 이후에 Opeartion End 신호를 선박운영 프로그램에 전송하면 다음 지점으로 이동할 수 있도록 하였다. 이를 통하여 효율적인 농업용저수지의 무인자동 수질측정 및 채수기술을 개발 제공하도록 하겠다.

  • In an accredited engineering program, there are two important means for achieving program outcomes. Students participating in a program are expected to achieve program outcomes through the program curriculum, because during the course of the program, they spend most of their time following the curriculum. However, it is very difficult to achieve the program outcomes only through the curriculum. Therefore, it is necessary to provide and manage non-curriculum courses in a program to make students achieve those program outcomes that the curriculum itself cannot provide exclusively. In this study, we conducted a case study on non-curriculum management systems as a means for supplementing a curriculum in order to enhance achievement of program outcomes, specifically, so-called, soft skills. We studied about 40 accredited engineering programs in Korea and proposed 30 non-curriculum courses with their evaluation units as well as the weighing criterior given to each non-curriculum course.

  • 라오스 남능강 유역에는 현재 11개의 수력 발전 댐이 운영되고 있으며 최근에 설치된 댐을 제외하고는 오래전에 개발된 운영규정 곡선에 근거하여 운영하고 있다. 즉 댐의 증설에 따른 하천 유량의 변동과 발전소의 설비용량증설 등의 발전환경이 충분히 반영되지 못한 상태로 운영하고 있으며, 이로 인해 통합수자원 관리의 최적화 차원의 일환으로 최대 전력생산을 위한 새로운 저수지 운영규정 곡선 개발이 필요하게 되었다. 저수지 운영규정 곡선(reservoir operation rule curve)은 일반적으로 주어진 저수지의 규모와 저수지로의 유입량 그리고 발전소의 설비용량 등의 발전환경을 종합적으로 고려하여 연간 발전량을 최대로 생산할 수 있도록 최적화 기법 등을 활용하여 개발한다. 본 고에서는 이를 위해 범용적인 동적 계획법(Dynamic Programming:DP)프로그램인 CSUDP를 활용하여 최초의 최적 저수지 운영규정 곡선을 제시하고 이에 의한 발전량을 모의하기 위해 HEC-ResSim package를 활용하였으며, 최종적으로는 기존의 운영규정 곡선, 운영실적, 그리고 현장 운영자의 의견 등을 종합적으로 고려하여 댐 운영 시나리오(단독, 연결, 댐별 상업 발전 시기 등)별로 운영규정 곡선을 개발하고 라오스 정부(EdL)에 제시하였다.

The Relationship between Course Assessment and Program Objective Evaluation in Engineering Education Accreditation - Toward a Practical Evaluation of Program Objectives (공학교육인증에서 교과목 학습성과와 프로그램 학습성과의 관계 - 실질적인 프로그램 학습성과 평가를 지향하며)

  • It is strongly desirable to continuously study the program outcomes that are one of the requirements of engineering accreditation. In this paper, the results of program outcome evaluation obtained by using four tools - exit written exams, essay tests, capstone design, and an official English test - were compared to those of program outcome evaluation obtained by a course-embedded assessment method. The former evaluation was carried out for 15 students who graduated in February 2010 by using the four evaluation tools, while the latter was performed by using a course offered in the Spring and Fall semesters in 2009. Two evaluation results revealed no large difference in almost all 12 program outcomes, which indicates that course-embedded assessment would be one of the practical and effective program outcome evaluation tools.

  • 이공계 위기론을 해결하기 위해 ABET주도로 시작된 공학교육인증은 우리나라에도 도입되었으며 성과중심교육을 기본철학으로 하는 공학교육인증에서 프로그램 학습성과의 평가는 매우 중요하다. ABEEK에서 강조하고 있는 교과기반평가(Course Embedded Assessment, 이하 CEA)는 그 유용성에도 불구하고 학습성과 연계와 코스 연계 등이 전산시스템으로 지원되지 않아 교육현장에서 잘 반영되지 않는 문제점이 있으며 이로 인해 인증을 위한 자체평가보고서 작성시 PD교수들의 어려움이 있다. 이에 운영자들의 의견을 반영하여 CEA평가 시스템을 구현하기 위한 사용자 권한 중심의 요구분석과 시스템 설계를 진행 하였다.

  • 임베디드 시스템 분야가 발전하면서 하드웨어와 소프트웨어의 복잡도가 증가하고 또한 응용프로그램들의 요구사항이 점차 다양해짐에 따라 기존의 범용 운영체제에서 모든 작업을 처리하는 방법은 시스템의 신뢰성과 안정성을 떨어뜨리게 된다. 이를 해결하기 위해 응용프로그램 특성에 맞는 운영체제가 동작할 수 있는 다중 운영체제 플랫폼을 구성하는 것이 임베디드 시스템의 가상화 기술이며 시스템의 안정성과 신뢰성을 증진시키는 목적으로 사용한다. 본 논문은 가상화 기술을 임베디드 시스템에 적용하고 가상화 기술에 알맞은 디바이스 드라이버를 작성하고 이에 대한 성능을 측정, 평가한다.

The Implementation and Evaluation of Learning Experience-Based Professionalism Program in Medical School (의과대학의 학습경험 중심 전문직업성 프로그램 운영 및 평가)

  • This study explores how to implement a learning experience-based professionalism program for a medical students and evaluates its program through effectiveness and usability test. This study aims to provide practical implications for experience-based learning in an undergraduate level. Seventy four first-year medical students enrolled in PDS1(Patient-Doctor-Society 1): professionalism, one-week block (30 hours), one-credit program based on a experience-based learning model. All of the students were given six learning themes and learning resources and supporting tools, and conducted stepwise learning activities; preparation, organization, sharing, reflection and evaluation of experiences. The effectiveness of learning was evaluated by comparing the pre and post results of student's self-assessment on 24 questionnaire items about professionalism. After the course, the students and instructors conducted a usability evaluation of the program through questionnaires or group interviews. Learners' self-assessment results of professionalism such as leadership, self-directed learning, professional attitude, and social accountability all showed significant differences between the pre- and post-test. Satisfaction of the program was distributed to 3.58~3.78 according to items. Instructors and learner interviews confirmed practical usability throughout the course design, implementation and students evaluation. The results of the study showed the feasibility of implementing learning experience-based professionalism program in medical school. This study provides practical implications to develope and evaluate the learning experience-based professionalism program in medical education.

  • In an attempt to analyze the policy priority on civil servant's education training policy as human resource management in this study, a positive analysis with the experts using AHP method was conducted. Summarizing the outcome of the study; First, in terms of relative priority of the evaluation elements by sector, the education training operation system, among education training program, education training evaluation, and education infrastructure, was analyzed as the most important element. Second, as a result of analyzing the priority of detail sectors of civil servant's education training, Action learning education program was proved to be the top priority project education training program aspect and education training operation system was also evaluated as the top priority project in education training agency budget expansion aspect, education training and personnel administration link was evaluated as the top priority project education training evaluation, and trainer secure was proved to be the top priority education infrastructure. Such outcome of the project is expected to make commitment for evaluating the civil servant's education training policy.

  • This study analyzes the current status of reading programs in public libraries based on literature research and data from the National Library Statistics System to derive implications and, based on this, to determine policy directions necessary to revitalize reading programs in public libraries in the future. First, based on the implications derived from the analysis, a plan for securing and sharing data on reading activities in public libraries. Second, the results of a correlation analysis of factors related to the planning and operation of reading programs present to suggest ways to revitalize sustainable reading programs. Third, the improvement of reading program evaluation indicators and expanding qualitative evaluation and creating an official mechanism to collect opinions from public libraries on a regular basis by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korean Library Association. Fourth, a cooperative network between public libraries that held reading competitions was proposed.

Evaluation of Oral Health Promotion Program Connected with Hypertension and Diabetes Management Programs: Use of a Logical Model (일부 보건소 고혈압·당뇨관리교실 연계 구강건강증진 프로그램 운영 및 평가: 논리적 모형을 이용하여)

  • This study aimed to design and operate a complementary integrated health management program based on the connection between the hypertension and diabetes management programs and the oral health programs at a public health center. It also proposed to suggest the phased evaluation indicators. In this study, 48 adults registered in the hypertension and diabetes management program were selected from the Gangneung public health center. The clinic-specific programs were led by dental hygienists and operated for visitors twice every two weeks. The programs were designed based on the logical model, and indicators for evaluating the structure, process, and outcome were presented and applied to the input, process, output, and outcome. The evaluation indices consisted of quantitative and qualitative indicators, and the planning and operation, goal achievement, and effect of each program were assessed. The process evaluations were assessed by the appropriateness of the managers and the operating fidelity of the programs. Indicators for evaluating the outcomes were gingival bleeding, oral health knowledge, oral health awareness, and the satisfaction of the participant and the manager. The clinic-specific programs resulted in positive changes in the evaluated outcomes. The integrated health management of visitors to the hypertension and diabetes management program is important as the general and oral health has common risk factors. Furthermore, long-term operation and continuous monitoring of oral health programs are necessary to evaluate the common factors in chronic disease management.
