  • Power tracking은 발전기가 생산하는 전력의 흐름을 추적함으로써 특정 발전기가 특정 부하에 공급하는 전력의 양, 측정 송전선 점유율, 계통손실에 기여량 등을 결정할 수 있게 해준다. 본 논문에서는 loop화되어 있는 실계통을 여러 domain으로 나누고 하나의 domain 또는 중첩된 domain 간의 교류송전선의 대체 안으로 FACTS나 HVDC과 같은 active 소자의 설치위치를 선정하기 위해 power tracking을 이용하였으며 이를 효과적으로 시각화 하기위한 프로그램을 개발하였다.

The Effect of Education Data Visualization using Unplugged Program on the Computational Thinking of Third Grade Students (언플러그드 방식을 활용한 데이터 시각화 교육이 초등학교 3학년 학생의 컴퓨팅 사고력에 미치는 효과)

  • In this study, an unplugged education method which focuses on the data visualization training was applied to third grade students of an elementary school and analyzed its impact on enhancing their computational thinking. The analysis was conducted on 60 elementary school teachers and 124 third grade students and the unplugged education program based on the data visualization procedure was developed. The education program developed was carried out with 24 third grade students for 36 hours over six days. The effect of the program applied was analyzed through the pre-to-post comparison performed with perceptive strength test and creativity test in order to examine the enhancement in computational thinking. According to the analysis result, the unplugged education method which focuses on the data visualization training has significant effect on the 'computational perception' and 'creativity' of third grade students.

Effect of Data Visualization Education using Scratch on the Creativity of Elementary Preservice Teacher (스크래치 활용 데이터 시각화 교육이 초등학교 예비교사의 창의성에 미치는 영향)

  • In this study, a scratch focused on data visualization was applied to 26 elementary school pre-service teachers to analyze the effect on improvement of creativity. Based on the results of the needs analysis conducted on 60 in-service elementary school teachers, the program using scratches according to the data visualization procedure was developed. With the developed educational program, 26 elementary school pre-service teachers were taught for 42 hours for a total of 4 months. In order to examine whether their creativity was improved, a creativity test was conducted and the effectiveness of the applied program was analyzed through a pre/post comparison tests. As a result of the analysis, it was found that the software education using scratch-oriented data visualization for elementary school pre-service teachers had significant effects on the fluency, sophistication, creativity average, and creativity index among the sub-elements of their creativity.

  • In this paper we suggest the visualized regression diagnosis tool. The tool is developed by Hangul Delphi on the basis of windows, so users can easily make use of this tool though they do not have the expert knowledge about statistics and computer. Especially, to apply this tool to teaching regression analysis or data analysis, we offer various residual plots in the tool and show the results of analysis graphically.

Clinical Utility of Visualized Memory Training Program Using the Picture Book for Mild Dementia (경도치매 환자를 위한 그림책 활용 시각화 기억훈련 프로그램의 임상 유용성 연구)

  • This study aims to develop a protocol for the visualized memory training program using the picture book and evaluate its clinical utility. A total of 5 sessions were conducted for 5 elderly people with mild dementia. Rey-Kim II, GDS-Short, word test were conducted to observe its effectiveness before and after the program. As a results overall memory was improved but was not statistically significant. Overall depression was also improved and statistically significant. The effect of word memory varies depending on individuals' degenerative conditions. In conclusion, the visualized memory training program using the picture book is effective in improving the memory to some extent and had an emotional effect of reducing depression in mild dementia. In the future it is necessary to research its effects in larger population.

The Effect of Education Data Visualization using Google Spreadsheet Program on improvement of creativity of Forth and Fifth Grade Students (구글 스프레드시트를 활용한 데이터 시각화 교육이 초등학교 4·5학년 학생의 창의성 향상에 미치는 효과)

  • In this study, we developed the google spreadsheet education program which focuses on the education data visualization. And we applied it to forth and fifth grade students, and then verified its effect. The developed program was applied to 29 forth and fifth grade students for 36 classes in six days. Application of the program In order to verify the effect on creativity, Torrance Tests of Creative Thinking Figures A and B were introduced and pretests and post tests were carried out. As a result of the verification, it was found that the google spreadsheet education program which focuses on the education data visualization has positive effects on the creativity factors of the elementary school forth and fifth grade students.

  • RNA 분자의 이차 구조를 예측하고 예측된 구조를 분석 평가하기 위하여 시각화하는 작업은 RNA의 구조에 대한 연구에 있어서 가장 필수적인 과정이다. 본 논문은 이차 구조를 시각화하고 편집하는 실용적이면서 새로운 알고리즘을 소개한다. 이 시각화 알고리즘은 벡터와 백터공간을 이용하여 RNA 분자의 구조 요소가 배치될 방향과 영역을 나타낸다. 구조 요소가 겹치지 않도록 배치될 방향ㄹ과 공간을 효율적으로 찾기위하여 구조 요소를 배치하는 순서에 관한 휴리스틱과 구조 요소를 배치하는 방법에 관한 휴리스틱을 사용한다. 이 시각화 알고리즘은 IBM PC/Windows 95 환경에서VizQFolder 라는 프로그램으로 구현되었다. 실험 결과는 VizQFolder 가 이미 배치한 구조 요소들을 재배치하거나 변형하지 않으면서 helix의 회전만으로 겹침 현상이 거의 없는 이차구조를 효율적으로 생성한다는 것을 보인다.

  • Comparing with sequential programming, parallel programming has additional complexity due to the consideration of parallelism, communication and synchronization of processes. A synergism between users and compliers should be established, each assisting the other to produce high quality parallel programs. On the above underlying philosophy, we developed a parallel Object-Oriented specification language, POOSL, as preliminary works. However, it is still likely to hard for users to write parallel program because users have to consider grammar of POOSL and to write text-based parallel program. It would be more desirable to provide users wit visual environment for effective parallel programming. Therefore, we propose a visual programming environment. VEPO(Visual environment for Parallel Object-Oriented Programming), based on POOSL in order that users can develop parallel programs more easily and conveniently. It aims at supporting a programming environment in which users can represent their programs more naturally and visually I parallel manner with object-oriented concept and essential steps during parallel program development such as program specification, compilation, execution and animation of execution are integrated. VEPO has useful features for parallel processing. Especially, complicated parallel codes for synchronization and communication of processes are automatically generated in the translation phase, so users can be relieved of writing error-prone parallel codes. The system is targeted to the transputer-based parallel system, MC-3. The graphic user interface of VEPO was implemented using Visual C++. Visual programs descirbed on VEPO are translated into Inmos C and executed on MC-3.

  • Detecting unaffected race conditions is important for debugging message-passing programs effectively, because such races can influence other races to occur or not. The previous technique used in detecting unaffected races detects a race by halting the execution of a process at the receive event of the race that errors first in the process. However this technique does not guarantee that all of the detected races are unaffected, because halting the execution of processes does disconnect some chains of affects-relations among those races. Tn this paper. we improved the second pass algorithm of the previous technique by producing information about affects-relations of the races that occur first in each Process. Then we effectively visualize affect-relations among the races detected in each process. This visualization is effective in detecting visually unaffected races by simplifying affects-relations among the races which occur first In each Process.

  • 소프트웨어를 유지보수하고 관리하는 과정에서 변경된 정보가 프로그램 구조에서의 어느 부분을 나타내고 그 변경이 전체 구조에서 어떤 영향을 미치는가에 대한 체계적이고 효율적인 관리방법이 필요하게 되었다. 기존의 상용화 프로그램에서 채택하고 있는 코드레벨에서의 라인과 라인상의 비교분석 정보만으로는 프로그램의 변경을 구조적인 관점에서 바라보기가 힘들었다. 이 논문에서는 역공학을 이용해서 변경전후의 프로그램 모델구조 정보를 얻고 그 정보를 서로 비교 분석하는 방법을 제시한다. 또, GMF(graphical modeling framwork)로 프로그램의 모델정보를 클래스 다이어그램 형태로 보여주며 비교분석된 정보를 다이어그램에서 보여줄 수 있는 시각화 규칙을 제시한다. 변경된 정보를 다이어그램에서 쉽게 파악할 수 있게 표현함으로써 프로그램 개발자가 아니라도 유지보수에서의 변경을 구조적으로 알 수 있고 관리할 수 있다.
