The purpose of this study was to investigate using behavior and spatial composition of activity room in skilled nursing facilities for the elderly and to provide basic information about its space planning. The design guidelines for activity room were as follows. First, the plan of activity room is based on the use of once to twice per week and for 30 minutes per use, and is mainly for the human knowledge and art programs. Second, all cases of the same and different floor of the individual room could be considered as its location. Third, the area is recommended at least more than 6 square meters per person including participating elderly, staff, furniture, equipments and restroom. Fourth, the furniture of activity room include the shelves, table for at least 8 persons with enough knee space, wheel, and stack chairs. Toilets and water closet should be arranged for the emergency, and the windows to the hall and curtain door need to be avoided for soundproofs and easy accessibility of wheelchair users.

In modern society, private securities have developed their capabilities continuously. However, despite the fact that not only security industries have been considerably expanded in quantity, but also plenty of scholars published diverse papers relating to security problems, qualitative growths of private securities have not accomplished fully. Especially, securing the President would not be guaranteed only by PSS(Presidential Security Service). In order to secure the President successfully, it is necessary for all the social parts to strive to protect the President. In this respect, improving private securities, including academic fields, might be critical so as to succeed in securing the President. Without the supports from private securities, there might be lots of security problems in national context. Therefore, this study proposes several policy suggestions for the cooperation among PSS, private security industries and academic fields: (1) Providing a lot of practical knowledge from PSS to college students, (2) Personnel exchange between academic parts and PSS to promote the efficiency of securing the President, (3) Furnishing diverse information and knowledge about security to private securities, (4) Formulating security-searching standards, (5) Expanding educational institutions under PSS.

This study comprised descriptive research the life stress and user satisfaction of female students who use University health clinic. From October 29 to November 11 2014, the 203 data were analyzed using t-test, ANOVA and Scheffe with SPSS 21.0. The highest score were in 'study', the lowest were in 'friend'. There were significant different in 'Future' and 'study' by major departments, 'friend' different by grade. 'Lover' was higher in drinking group, in total and 'value' were higher by meal habit, in 'friend' was higher in group binge. The motivations of use were high in medical treatment and InBody. Most satisfaction item were free administration and emergency medical treatment. Thus it is necessary to different design to reduce life stress in female university students and to operate effectively in university health clinic.

하천의 유량 자료는 하천 관리에 필수적인 요소로, 지속적인 유량측정을 위해 국가 유량 측정망을 구성하여 주요 지점을 대상으로 유량 측정을 수행하고 있다. 측정된 유량자료는 일반적으로 수위-유량 관계곡선식을 개발하여 제공되고 있으며, 홍수파와 배수 영향 등으로 인해 수위-유량 관계곡선식에서 발생하는 산포로 인한 신뢰도에 문제가 우려되는 경우에는 실시간의 정확한 유량자료를 제공하기 위해 H-ADCP를 설치하여 지표유속법 기반의 실시간 유량 자료 생산하여 제공하고 있다. 그러나 H-ADCP를 이용한 유량 측정 방법은 장비의 한계로 인해 상대적으로 규모가 작고 수심이 얕은 하천에 적용하기 어려운 문제가 있다. 따라서, 최근에는 자동유량관측소 지점 확대를 위해 비접촉식 유속계를 활용한 자동유량관측소 운영이 점차 고려되고 있다. 이에 따라 비접촉식유속계를 이용한 유량 측정 결과의 검증 및 유지 관리를 위한 소프트웨어가 필요하다. 이에 본 연구에서는 비접촉식유속계 중 전자파를 이용하여 수표면의 표면유속을 측정할 수 있는 장비인 RQ-30의 측정결과를 분석하기 위해 Microsoft Visual Studio(C#) 사용하여 측정결과의 검토 및 자료 관리를 위한 후처리 소프트웨어를 개발하였다. 개발한 소프트웨어는 측정 원시자료를 읽고, 도시하여 측정 결과를 확인할 수 있으며, 머신러닝 기반의 알고리즘을 적용하여 수위 및 유속 시계열 자료에서 발생하는 이상치를 탐색할 수 있도록 개발하였다. 그리고 탐지된 이상치에 대한 보정을 위해 선형보간, LOESS, SuperSmoother를 사용하여 이상치를 보정하여 결과를 도출할 수 있도록 개발하였다. 추후 본 연구를 통해 개발된 프로그램을 활용하여 측정 자료의 유지 관리 효율성을 증대시킬 수 있을 것으로 기대되며, 지속적인 프로그램의 개선을 통해서 실무적으로 활용이 가능할 것으로 판단된다.

편집 디자인계에서 인디자인은 강력한 루키다. 인디자인은 10여 년 이상을 우리나라 출판 인쇄 분야를 독점한 쿼크에 정면 도전하고 있는 어도비의 편집 전문 프로그램이다. 실무 현장의 대부분인 출력실이나 인쇄소에서 현재까지 거의 쿼크를 사용하고 있기는 하지만 인디자인은 끊임없는 관심과 기대를 한몸에 받고 있는 프로그램이다. 총 5회의 연재에 걸쳐 인디자인의 모습과 장점, 특징, 쿼크(Quark)와의 대결 구조, 인디자인으로 작업하는 전반적인 과정, 출력 전 PDF 파일로 만드는 방법 등에 대해 알아본다. 이번 호에서 먼저 인디자인의 정의와 용도, 접근 방법 및 작업을 위한 기본 환경 설정에 대해 살펴본다.
