A Study on the Method of Software Reliability Quality Testing (소프트웨어 신뢰성 품질 평가 방법론에 대한 연구)

  • ISO/IEC 9126에 의하면 스프트웨어 품질 특성은 기능성, 신뢰성, 사용성, 효율성, 유지보수성, 이식성의 6가지 품질 특성으로 나누어 평가를 실시하고 있다. 각 특성은 부특성으로 나누어지고 이러한 부특성에 따른 평가 항목을 메트릭으로 정의하고 있다. 그러나 품질 특성 중 신뢰성의 경우는 ISO/IEC 9126에서 제시한 부특성인 성숙성, 오류허용성, 복구성, 준수성에 따라 품질 평가 항목이 메트릭으로 제시되어져있다. 그러나 제시되어져 있는 신뢰성 평가 항목은 소프트웨어 신뢰성 성장 모델을 이용하여 신뢰도를 평가하고 메트릭 값을 얻도록 구성되어져 있으나 수리적인 어려움과 데이터 수집에 따르는 문제점으로 인하여 적용하고 있지 못한 실정이다. 이러한 문제점을 고려하여 고장 데이터를 이용하여 소프트웨어 신뢰성을 평가할 수 있는 방안을 검토하고 현재 연구가 진행되어지고 있는 국제 표준 문건 ISO/IEC 25000 시리즈를 국내 표준으로 적용할 수 있는 방안에 대해서 연구한다.

Application of Pay Adjustment Regulation for Highway Flexible Pavements (도로 포장의 초기상태에 따른 공사비 차등지급규정의 시험적용)

  • Recently, pay adjustment regulation (PAR) has been developed to induce better performing road pavements around the country. This regulation was successfully applied during rehabilitation of highway flexible pavements for the first time, and their results are the focus of this paper. For highway pavements, a lot has been defined by typical amount of works a day. This lot was further divided into several sublots depending on field conditions. According to AASHTO Quality Assurance Guide Specification, pay factors for each lot were statistically determined with field measurements of five performance indicators. And composite pay factors were calculated by accounting for the impact of individual performance indicators on a long-term performance of pavement. In 2008, the PAR was tested with asphalt overlays conducted at all six local headquarters of Korea Expressway Corporation. Also, concerns raised during implementation are discussed in this paper. Limited data used in this study showed that if all performance indicators fall within the construction limits with less variances final construction costs may increase by 50%, whereas 10% reduction in construction costs could be necessary if key performance indicators such as density do not meet the construction quality requirements.

  • The concept of Container Terminal Service has been used in respect to port service until now. There is no necessity to distinguish container terminal service by concept or property. The purpose of this study is to develop the most appropriate Service Quality in the container terminal through empirical analysis such as existing theoretical studies, expertise survey and SAS program. It is necessary to show the way of evaluating Container Terminal Service's importance and Service Quality. This study intends to understand overall satisfaction survey by Container Terminal Service's evaluation through Regression Analysis where customer satisfaction will be the dependant variable.

  • The Port Logistics Information System (Port-MIS) is the system that processes all of port management such as entry and departure of ships, using facilities within ports, port traffic control, cargo entering and carrying and tax collection in 31 trade ports over the whole country. Lately, The Port Logistics Information System (Port-MIS) has been reformed as a WEB-based system and established basis to provide real time information support structure, diversification of civil complaint system, and optimized civil complaint service by using wire and wireless internet. The typical study on the Port Logistics Information System was C/S program and EDI-centered. But it has significance to study on service quality measurement of WEB Port-MIS that has been served as a new web-based platform since April 2010, for there was no such a study until now.

  • As software is developed for many applications and software defects have caused serious problem sin those applications, the concern of software quality evaluation increases rapidly. Although there has been many efforts for establishing standards for software evaluation, such as ISO/IEC 9126, they provide only a framework for defining quality characteristics and evaluation process. They, however, do not provide practical guidances for deriving resonable weight value criteria for software evaluation. This paper presents a method to draw quantitative weight values from evaluator's subjective data in the process of software evaluation as observing the ISO/IEC 9126 standard. To eliminate the evaluators' subjectiveness and the uncertainty of weight value during evaluation, the Dempster-Shafer (D-S) theory is adopted and utilized. In this paper, the D-S theory is supplemented with an improved merge rule to reduce the bias of weight value when they are merged with other evaluator's weight value. The proposed merge rule has been tested and proved with actual evaluation data.

  • There is the difference of criteria to apply guidelines among the project participants and to depend on the purpose of utilizing BIM models, although modeling criteria are basically provided through BIM guidelines. Therefore, it is quite important to check compliance with guidelines to raise quality of the BIM model. But Quality Checking (QC) items and method for BIM model modeled in accordance with guidelines is not provided. This study suggested QC items and Rule Specifications(RS) for automatic QC. First of all, QC items were derived by analyzing domestic BIM guidelines and a process for structuring natural language is conducted by utilizing flowchart and pseudocode. So, by combining them, RS was suggested. Finally, RS-based case study was conducted by implementing automatic QC process with solibri model checker$^{TM}$. This study will contribute to the improvement of design quality and completeness of BIM model including huge data of 3 dimension. Furthermore, it is necessary to develop BIM guidelines according to the use case and to provide detailed process and standard for QC of BIM model.

  • Non-curable rubberized polymer asphalt waterproof coating materials in Korea and China are manufactured without advanced quality control techniques and common standard, And they are exposed consistent water leakage problems. Import and application of Korean waterproofing products and installation methods is difficult in the present situation as the Chinese standard(JC/T 2428) is different in nature with the Korean counterpart products, And quality assurance is inevitable based on mutual standards. In order to resolve this issue, alternatives such as using standards provided by the ISO (International Organization for Standardization) are generally employed, but there is no such ISO standard as a waterproof material for non-curable rubberized polymer asphalt material. Furthermore, it is unreasonable to develop the ISO standard for rubber asphalt seals for exchange in terms of time and cost. This study proposes that the establishment of a quality standard that can be applied for both countries will be required via an joint international standard that outlines the properties of materials if applied in mutual trade exchange.

  • 서비스 지향 아키텍쳐(SOA: Service Oriented Architecture)는 기업의 모든 컴퓨팅 자원을 서비스제공 및 사용체계로 전환하게 함으로써, 복잡하고 다양한 시스템간의 유기적인 결합과 IT 자원의 활용율을 극대화시킬 수 있는 프레임워크이다. SOA 시스템을 구현하기에 가장 적합한 체계로써, 웹 서비스 표준이 제시되고 있는데, 이는 웹 서비스가 서비스 기술, 발견, 활용에 있어 SOA의 기본 사상을 충분히 반영하고 있기 때문이다. 웹 서비스의 현실적 적용을 위해 가장 중요한 요소는 웹 서비스의 품질보장이며, 이를 위해 OASIS 국제표준기구의 WSQM 기술위원회에서는 WSQM(Web Service Quality Model) 스펙을 제시하였다. WSQM은 웹 서비스 품질요소와 품질관계자, 그리고 그들간의 품질행위를 추상적 관점에서 모델링하고 있다. 여기서, 특히 품질요소는 웹 서비스의 품질 상태를 직접 표현한다는 측면에서 가장 중요한 항목이라 할 수 있다. 하지만, WSQM에서는 모델링에 중점을 두고 있으므로, 현실세계에서 웹 서비스 품질요소의 값을 구체적이고, 표준화된 형태로 표현하기 위해서는 웹서비스 품질기술언어와 같은 XML 형태의 정규화된 형태가 제시되어야한다. 본 논문에서는 이를 작성하기 위한 기본 개념과 이를 적용한 웹 서비스 품질기술언어의 구성항목에 대해 설명하고자 한다.

A Study on the Improvement of Service Quality Measurement (서비스 품질 측정 개선에 대한 탐색적 연구)

  • Service quality research has been the subject of service studies for many years. This study is an exploratory study to improve the service quality measurement factor, and the research has been carried out reflecting the nature of the service; relationship quality, interactivity, horizontality, and harmony. Also, among the developed service quality measurement factors, the research model is reconstructed considering the major factors such as environmental quality, result quality, and convenience quality. Relationality and interactivity redesigned the quality factor, which is called interactive quality. The redesigned service quality factors consisted of interaction quality, result quality, environmental quality, convenience quality, harmonious quality, and horizontal quality. Experimental group evaluation was conducted on the quality factors and 18 measurement items were derived. A questionnaire was conducted to verify the validity of the 18 items. As a result of the questionnaire analysis, 6 factors and 15 items among the 18 items of service quality measurement factor were found valid. The six factors for the service quality measurement presented in this study are the results of the early stage research, but they can be used to improve the service quality factor in the future. However, this is significant because it reflects the characteristics of services that are consistent with the service economy. In particular, the horizontal quality and harmony quality factors are new factors not mentioned in the previous studies and need to be verified through further detailed studies. Further research is needed to improve the service quality measurement factors reflecting the nature of services and the characteristics of new services.

Development of the Model for Evaluation of Medical device manufacturer's Quality Management System against international standards and industry environment's change (국제기준 및 산업환경 변화에 대응한 의료기기 제조기업 품질경영 평가모델 개발)

  • This study developed a model to evaluate the quality management system of a medical device manufacturing company, and applied it to medical device manufacturers to understand the impact on business performance in response to international regulations and industry's change. This study prepared preliminary items, defined four (4) major factors (Plan-Do-Check-Act) that consist of the evaluation layers and items per category according to prior research review and expert interview, and calculated the weight and importance using AHP. The study results showed that responsibility & authority and quality objective in Planning Category, product-related requirement and R&D in Doing Category, Measuring and monitoring in Check Category, and review of meeting Regulatory and regulation in Action Category are relatively more important factors. The evaluation model developed based on the calculated weight and importance to business performance was applied to medical device manufacturers to investigate and analyze the implementation level of QMS and its impact on business performance according to each category. Most medical device manufacturers to be studied showed a reasonable level of QMS and effective business performance. Almost all the evaluation layers and items in the four (4) factors had a significant influence on business performance. Although the medical device quality management system is aimed mainly at license acquisition, it is important that management environment factors not related directly to licensing and authorization are important to business performance, and it is effective when these factors are integrated and operated within and outside the manufacturer.
