Look-up table based inverse halftoning from the digital color halftone image is proposed in this paper, which uses vector adaptive filter for the nonexisting patterns in the table. Halftone image is obtained from a continuous -tone image, which can be restored into continuous one from the digital binary image by way of inverse halftoning method. Look-up table based method usually processes fast and has even performances over the various halftoning. The numbers of pixels in the pattern of table and the method how to define the table elements for each R, G, B channels can effect largely for its performance. The proposed method uses 16 pixels in the table considering the diversity of the expressions from their patterns and with memory size as well. This also proposed how to combine R, G, B channels into one. Experimental results showed the better performance in the expression of colors, better color restoration and the short processing time compared with the conventional ones.

This study reviews classification used the Chosun Government-General Library which library was the first of a government library in the Korea Chosun Government-General Library made and used the Eastern Books Classification, Old Books Classification and foreign Books Classification. This study investigates the characteristics of the Chosun Government-General Library Classification which library was a government library at the time of Japanese occupation of Korea. This study also compares and analyzes the classification with other major related classification system at that time to identify the relationship of influence among them.

The purpose of this study is to reconstruct the Specific Abridged Life Tables of Koreans, based on the Complete Life Tables of the Insurrence Companies of Korea which were constructed by the Korean Actuaries Society in 1988-1991. We compared chronologically the SDRs of the Life Tables by the National STstistica Office and the Specific Abridged Life Tables based on the Empirical Life Tables respectively. And besides, we compared the SDRs of Life Tables by National Statistical Office with the Specific Abrddged Life tabled based on the Empirical Life Tables by the Korean Actuaries Society in 1988-1991. The results of the SDRs of Koresans reveal that the tredns of the Korean Mortality from 1979 to 1991 was on decrease remarkably.

달표면 표토의 평균 입자크기와 성숙도(maturity)는 달 연구 및 탐사에 있어 중요한 정보이다. 표토의 성숙도는 탐사하는 지역의 형성시기에 대한 정보를 제공하고, 평균입자크기는 달 탐사 로보의 설계에 중요한 정보로 쓰이기 때문이다. 우리는 달표면 표토의 평균입자크기와 성숙도를 측정하기 위하여 경희대학교 천문대에서 12cm 굴절망원경과 정방형 2k CCD를 이용하여 $633{\mu}m$ 파장의 편광관측을 수행하였다. 관측의 공간 분해능은 달의 중심부에서 2.89km/pixel이다. 달표면에서 산란된 빛의 편광도는 달표면 표토의 평균입자크기를 알 수 있는 중요한 정보가 된다. 표토의 평균입자크기는 최대편광도와 알비도에 관계되기 때문에 편광관측과 알비도 관측으로부터 평균입자크기를 측정할 수 있다. 표토의 평균입자크기는 시간이 지남에 따라서 점점 작아지는데, 이는 표토가 미세운석체의 충돌에 오랜 시간 동안 노출되어 있기 때문이다. 미세운석체의 충돌은 달표면에서 고르고 지속적으로 일어났기 때문에, 표토의 평균입자크기를 알 수 있다면 표토가 얼마나 오랫동안 달표면에 노출되었는지를 나타내는 성숙도를 측정할 수 있다. 우리는 편광관측을 통하여 처음으로 달표면 전체의 평균입자크기의 분포를 측정하였고, 그로부터 표토의 성숙도를 추정했다.

This study investigated and analyzed various library classification systems and related literature in order to suggest some modifications and expansion of the Dewey Decimal Classification, the 23rd edition (DDC 23) in the area of immigration policy - an interdisciplinary subject - for the best information organization and services. First of all, definitions and scopes of the immigration policy were dealt with and then primary subject areas of it were selected. And then, DDC, Library of Congress Classification, Korean Decimal Classification, and Universal Decimal Classification were compared and analyzed according to the structures, headings and characteristics. Finally, modified classification schedules in immigration policy of the DDC 23 - the most frequently used one with an regular revision was proposed with their principles and main schedules with an auxiliary table. It can be used for an effective information organization in immigration policy area and it will be useful for many libraries and research institutes on immigration policy.

The purpose of this study is to develop internal tables in Christian religion in the 5th edition of Korean Decimal Classification. The scope of the Christianity, its structure of various classification schemes, and the concepts of internal tables were analyzed. The contents of several textbooks were analyzed for the scope of the discipline and the classification schemes and internal tables of DDC, UDC, NDC, LCC, Classification of the Library of Union Theological Seminary and the Classification of the Korea Theological Library were compared. And then, internal tables in Bible, sermon, worship, church history were built and those tables were evaluated by librarians and experts in the fields. And finally, internal tables of the Christiainity and new headings were suggested. New internal tables in Christianity will increase the effectiveness of information retrieval and it will provide a foundation for developing internal tables in other disciplines.

본 논문에서는 실생활에서 쓰이는 다양한 구조를 갖는 문서에 대해서도 자연어 질의응답이 가능한 모델을 만들고자, 그 첫걸음으로 표에 대해 자연어 질의응답이 가능한 End-to-End 인공신경망 모델 TabQA를 제안한다. TabQA는 기존 연구들과는 달리 표의 형식에 구애받지 않고 여러 가지 형태의 표를 처리할 수 있으며, 다양한 정보의 인코딩으로 풍부해진 셀의 feature를 통해, 표의 row와 column 객체를 직관적이고도 효과적으로 추상화한다. 우리는 본 연구의 결과를 검증하기 위해 다채로운 어휘를 가지는 표 데이터에 대한 질의응답 쌍을 자체적으로 생성하였으며, 이에 대해 단일 모델 EM 스코어 96.0%에 이르는 결과를 얻었다. 이로써 우리는 추후 더 넓은 범위의 양식이 있는 데이터에 대해서도 자연어로 질의응답 할 수 있는 가능성을 확인하였다.

연속형 변수들의 상관관계와 범주형 변수들의 연관성 측도들을 비교 연구하였다. 이 연구를 위하여 연속형 변수들이며 +1에서 -1까지 완벽한 상관관계를 갖고 있는 2 변량 정규분포를 이용하여 2$\times$2 분할표와 확장하여 일반적인 I$\times$J 분할표를 대신하는 3$\times$3 분할표를 생성하였다. 2 차원 분할표에서 정의된 연관성 측도들을 구하여 논의하였는데 2$\times$2 분할표에서는 교차적비 $\alpha$ 통계량과 교차적비의 함수로 표현되는 Yule [1912]의 Q와 Y의 통계량 그리고 상관계수 R 통계량과 R 통계량의 함수인 P 통계량을 설명하고 생성된 분할표에서 구한 통계량값을 분석하였으며, 3$\times$3 분할표에서는 Pearson의 독립성 검정통계량 $X^2$의 함수로 표현되는 P. T. V 통계량과 Goodman과 Kruskal [1954]의 $\lambda_{C/R}$통계량과 Light와 Margolin [1971]의 $\tau_{R/C}$ 통계량을 설명하고 그 값들을 Pearson의 상관계수와 비교 분석하였다.

This study aims to compare the 21th edition of Dewey Decimal Classification and the 4th edition of Korean Decimal Classification. Several categories are used for analyzing those classification systems. The purpose of this study was to compare the quality of two schedules with some examples and to analyze important categories of them and to find out the problems of them and also to provide possible suggestions for the improvement of the Korean Decimal Classification System in 21th century.

일반적으로 HTML문서는 크게 내용과 구조로 이루어져 있다. HTML은 일반 문서와 달리 태그라는 것으로 문서에 추가 정보를 주며, 문서의 내용을 더욱 명확하게 한다. 따라서 태그를 이용하면 일반 문서보다 정보를 쉽게 구별하고 추출할 수 있다. 이러한 여러 가지 태그들 중에서 본 연구는 표를 중점적으로 연구한다. 표는 행과 열을 이용하여 어떤 사실을 조직하여 전달하는 것으로, 다른 구조적 특성들 보다 정보를 조직하는데 매우 유용하며, 글로 기술할 많은 분량을 간단히 줄이는 역할을 한다. 이와 같은 표의 특성에 주목하여 표에서 정보를 추출하는 분야를 기존 연구자들은 Web Table Mining 명명하였다. 본 연구는 기존 연구자들이 간과한 표의 구조적인 특성을 이용하여 전체 인터넷 문서에 적용할 수 있는 방법과 함께, 표에서 의미 있는 정보 추출을 위한 단계적인 모형을 제시한다.
