The purpose of this study is to design and implement a sign language dictionary for the deaf to understand information communication terminologies. When the deafs who have difficulties in communication use the internet, they an get help from this dictionary in accessing various types of information and expressing their intension. In order for the deaf to utilize the internet as efficiently as ordinary people, they must understand information communication terminologies first In order to implement the dictionary, we defined the concepts of the deaf and examined their characteristics. In addition, we established principles in designing this dictionary and selected some terminologies. When explaining the terminologies. we tried to use expressions common to the deaf, but sometimes modified them to keep the original meanings of the terms in producing sign language videos. This studies are applied as learning aid to information education for the deaf, and the deaf's understanding of ICT was measured through two tests.

To understand terms and symbols correctly which is the basic factor of teaming mathematics is important for understanding and utilizing related mathematic contents. Since the definition of terms and symbols is the important starting point of learning mathematics, it has been studied a lot since the ancient times. This study investigates the transition of terms and symbols which was presented in our curriculum after Korea's independence and it also investigates terms and symbols which are used for the current middle school text books. As a result of studying the transition of the terms, more detailed and broader analysis should be done for the explanation, modification, deletion, and creation of the terms. And complements are needed for some of the terms and symbols. Also, some definition of the terms which are used in some of the current middle school text books should be explained in a way that is suitable for the students' capability. And some errors and omissions of the terms need to be corrected. Furthermore, we need to compare our definition of terms with that of the other countries and modify them if it is necessary. Also, It is better to put guidelines about the interpretation of terms and symbols in the curriculum to reduce the confusion which can be produced by the variety of explanation of the definition of terms and symbols.

전문용어란 전문분야의 개념이 언어적으로 표현된 형태이다. 전문분야마다 분야 특성 적인 개념이 사용되므로, 전문용어는 전문분야를 특성화하는 단위로 사용된다. 따라서 전문분야문서에 대한 자연언어처리에서 전문용어를 효과적으로 처리하는 것은 매우 중요하다. 전문용어 추출은 분야 특성적인 전문용어를 해당 분야 문서에서 파악하는 작업을 말한다. 본 논문에서는 기계학습방법을 이용한 전문용어 자동 추출 기법을 제안한다. 본 논문의 기법은 전문분야 사전과 전문분야 문서를 이용하여 문서에서 나타나는 전문용어의 특성을 파악하고 이를 이용하여 전문용어를 추출한다. 본 논문의 기법은 70,000단어 수준의 영어 의학분야 300개 문서에 대하여 약 77%의 정확률로 전문용어를 추출하였다.

이 자료는 일본 내각부 식품안전위원회가 소비자를 비롯한 관계자의 이해를 돕기 위하여 식품의 안전성에 관한 기본적인 용어 등에 대한 해설을 지난 2004년 3월에 작성하고 2005년 3월 개정한 것을 번역한 것으로써, 동 자료를 번역함에 있어 동 위원회가 표현한 원문의 용어를 그대로 사용하였기 때문에 우리가 흔히 사용하는 용어와 상이할 수도 있으므로 필요시 원문을 참고하여 주시기 바랍니다.

목차 및 권말색인과 같은 인쇄형태의 정보내용에 대한 구조화된 접근방식에서 착안하여 전자 문서의 내용에 대한 새로운 형태의 접근방식을 개발할 수 있는데, 이를 위한 방안으로 용어 자동분류 기법이 있다. 본 연구에서는 용어의 의미모호성 문제를 해결하는 동시에 용어간 계층관계 표현이 가능한 자동분류 기법으로 퍼지 클러스터링 기법을 제안하고, 대표적인 퍼지 클러스터링 알고리즘인 퍼지 c-means 기법에 대해 분석하고자 한다.

Given the context of rapid developing ubiquitous computing environment, it is imperative for users to search and use images based on affective meanings. However, it has been difficult to index affective meanings of image since emotions of image are substantially subjective and highly abstract. In addition, utilizing low level features of image for indexing affective meanings of image has been limited for high level concepts of image. To facilitate the access points of affective meanings of image, this study aims to utilize user-provided responses of images. For a data set, emotional words are collected and cleaned from twenty participants with a set of fifteen images, three images for each of basic emotions, love, sad, fear, anger, and happy. A total of 399 unique emotion words are revealed and 1,093 times appeared in this data set. Through co-word analysis and network analysis of emotional words from users' responses, this study demonstrates expanded word sets for five basic emotions. The expanded word sets are characterized with adjective expression and action/behavior expression.

전문용어란 전문분야의 개념이 언어적으로 표현된 형태이다. 전문분야마다 분야 특성적인 개념이 사용되므로, 전문용어는 전문분야를 특성화하는 단위로 사용된다. 따라서 전문분야문서에 대한 자연언어처리에서 전문용어를 효과적으로 처리하는 것은 매우 중요하다. 전문용어 추출은 분야 특성적인 전문용어를 해당 분야 문서에서 파악하는 작업을 말한다. 본 논문에서는 기계학습방법을 이용한 전문용어 자동 추출 기법을 제안한다. 본 논문의 기법은 전문분야 사전과 전문분야 문서를 이용하여 문서에서 나타나는 전문용어의 특성을 파악하고 이를 이용하여 전문용어를 추출한다. 본 논문의 기법은 GENIA 2.01 문서에 대하여 86%의 정확률과 90%의 재현율을 나타내었다. 또한 기존연구보다 최고 21%의 성능향상을 나타내었다.

전문용어는 특정 분야의 문서들에서 그 분야 특징을 반영하는 용어를 지칭하는 말로 최근 이러한 전문용어를 자동으로 인식하는 연구들이 활발하게 이루어지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 전문용어 인식의 방법 중 규칙 기반 방법의 한 종류인 사전 기반 방법을 이용하여 전문용어를 인식한다. 사전 기반 방법의 보통 다음과 같은 문제점이 있다. 첫째 같은 의미를 가지지만 형태가 다른 전문용어의 인식이 어려우며, 둘째 정확한 경계를 인식하기 위해서는 모든 단어에 대해 사전에 존재하는 가장 긴 단어의 크기만큼 매칭을 시도해야하며, 셋째 인식된 경계가 겹칠 수 있다는 문제점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 사전 매칭시 정규표현을 이용하여 첫 번째 문제를 해결하며, 트라이를 이용하여 사전을 구축하고, 매칭시 스택을 이용한 병렬구조를 사용하여 두 번째 문제를 해결하였으며, 구간트리라는 자료구조를 이용하여 세 번째 문제를 해결하였다.

This study tries to identify the terms which shared the same meaning with a present-day geographical concept region, or jibang(地方) in Korean, Prior to the initiation of modem geography. The analysis of the annals of the pre-modem political regimes and the earliest geography textbooks ends up with the terms oe(外), bang(方), oebang(外方), ji(地面). These terminologies, although having had almost similar meanings that region intends, nonetheless deliver somewhat different connotation depending on the context and times in and during which they were used. Another finding of significance is that region and jibang, both central .words in contemporary geography, began to be used only after the introduction, by way of Japan, of modem geography in the early 20th century. The colonial experience and subsequent political and social turmoil, however, results in careless uses of the terms in geography teaching and research. Efforts need to be continued to address the problems of misuse of these basic terms and, by doing so, to raise geographical pursuits on a right track.
