Domestic kids TV animation industry is settled well in domestic animation industry by adding both entertainment value and educational value. Specially, the character that represents various rolls in the kids TV animation is the core visual element. This study is the analysis for character's subject matter of expression. For this, I established the tool which could classify character's subject matter of expression, and apply the tool to the character which were selected in broadcasting kids TV animations on EBS. Through this procedure, I analyzed character's subject matter of expression with the distribution chart as the final step. In addition, I hope the result of this study could intend to provide the index of the character creation in the kids TV animation and also informed the current situation about the character's subject matter of expression in the kids TV animation.

현대 패션분야에서 디자이너들의 예술적 표현의 주제이자 매체로서 활용되고 있는 빛은 보다 감성지향적인 방향으로 발전되는 추세로서, 빛을 활용한 감성 패션디자인에 대한 표현 방법과 조형적 특성을 분석하는 것은 매우 의미있는 일이다. 패션디자인에서 빛을 표현하는 방법으로는 빛의 반사, 이미지 표현, 발광, 투사에 의해 독창적으로 응용되어져 표현되어 왔으며, 다양한 빛의 표현을 위해 재료의 물성을 조작함으로써 얻을 수 있는 빛의 유희, 명암이나 형태, 색채를 통한 빛의 재현, 발광물질이나 인공광에 의한 발광, 프로젝터를 통한 빛 이미지 등 다양한 표현방법이 활용되고 있었다. 빛이 활용된 감성 패션디자인의 조형적 특성으로는 상호작용성, 영상성, 투명성, 실험성으로 분류되었다. 상호작용성은 착용자의 행위에 의한 변형과 신체의 변화나 감정의 변화에 의한 불빛이나 영상 패턴이 바뀌는 등 형태나 컬러, 영상의 변형 등 착용자의 메시지 전달이나, 감정표현, 신체보호, 그리고 재미를 유발하는 효과를 자아내는 것으로 나타났다. 영상성은 디지털 이미지를 활용한 것과 내부 광원에 의한 발광성으로 분류되며, 드레스에 장착된 수많은 LED 에 의한 영상을 만들거나 이미지를 확대시키는 방법으로 표현된 영상성은 심미적인 효과가 우선시되었다. 투명성은 주로 비닐, 플라스틱, 기능적 소재 등 투명한 소재들을 이용하여 대부분 재료의 특성이 조형적 특성으로 분석되었고, 외부와의 개방성과 위장가능성의 효과를 준다거나, 투명한 재질에 이미지가 변화하는 이미지의 중첩성과 같은 효과를 나타내었다. 실험성은 새로운 실험적 도구로서의 패션을 표현하고자 할 때, '빛'을 매개체로 하여 관심을 유도하고 재미를 더해주며, 신비주의적 환상이나 호기심을 불러일으키는 효과를 나타내었다. 이처럼 빛을 활용한 패션디자인은 빛을 매개체로 하여 다양한 표현방법으로 활용이 가능하며 특유의 조형적 특성을 가지고 있음을 알 수 있었다.

이번 작품은 인어와 물고기를 독특한 방식으로 표현해 자칫 단순해지기 쉬운 소재에 신선한 느낌을 줬다. 파도를 단순화시켜 표현한 아이디어도 더해져 한층 재미나는 작품이 됐다.

Flowers are one of the most natural expressions of human expression. Recently, these flowers have been applied to various kinds of products to enhance their aesthetic value and to use them as artistic materials expressing their vitality. The purpose of this study is to investigate the formative characteristics of flowers that are visually beautiful and to express them visually through the fusion of various products used in daily life. Based on this research, we study the importance of emotional design that gives satisfaction to consumers and new design expression techniques. In addition, we pursue the aesthetic value of the product with naturalness and original design sense, and develop sensibility product design expressing design sensitivity by combining floral motif with various products based on expression of decoration using image of flower. I would like to suggest the possibility of development of sensible product design.

A satirical cartoon is a time-limited medium in the context of specific social phenomena. On the other hand, satirical cartoons based on 'Sewolho' was published with 74 works by Kyunghyang Shinmun and 46 works by Joongang Ilbo. This is because it is a social phenomenon with a special meaning that satirical cartoons based on 'Sewolho' is a political issue that is called out of time constraints. In this study, I compared and analyzed the expressive elements of Kyunghyang Shinmun and Joongang Ilbo in the social phenomenon 'Sewolho'. The elements of the character, frame, and speech bubble which are the picture elements of satirical cartoons, combine to form the narrative structure. And the elements of the Speech, name and commentary which are also the same. The results of this study are meaningful that the analysis of the narrative structure through the expressive elements of satirical cartoons is meaningful by comparing and analyzing the satirical cartoons of two newspapers with different tendencies.

Non-photorealistic Rendering(NPR) is a method that can be used to simulate a wide range of materials used in visual arts. Currently, there is lack of availability for oriental-style rendering in 3D animation in contrast to the commonly available western-style rendering. In this paper, we combine the wash drawing technique and NPR to create an oriental-style shader for 3D animation. Our approach makes use of the Maya Embeded Language(MEL) to implement this new technique.

Due to the polar characteristics of silica compared to carbon black, the degree of silica dispersion, which affects the mechanical properties of rubber compounds, is an important issue. Wolff first introduced the in-rubber structure of particles (${\alpha}_F$) to express the structure development in the compounds; however, with the introduction of bifunctional silanes, his theory could not explain the 3-dimensional network structure of the compounds. Later his theory was expanded to express the composite interaction parameter (in-rubber structure of the compound) (${\alpha}_C$), which included Wolff's filler-filler interaction parameter (${\alpha}_F$), however, there was no reported experimental result proving the theory. This research first experimentally expressed the in-rubber structure of the compound ${\alpha}_C$ (= ${\alpha}_F+{\alpha}_{FP}$(filler-silane-rubber interaction parameter) + ${\alpha}_P$ (rubber-rubber interaction parameter)) upon mono- and bifunctional silane treated silica filled natural rubber (NR) compounds. Using different structure silanes, i.e. PTES, OTES, TESPD, and TESPT, the ${\alpha}_C$ value of each compound was measured and calculated. The ${\alpha}_C$ value of TESPT treated silica filled compound was 1.64, which composed of ${\alpha}_F$ (0.99), ${\alpha}_{FP}$ (0.31), and ${\alpha}_P$ (0.34).

The purpose of this study is to analyze the historical background and characteristics of pop art style and motif expressions in the works of artists by analyzing the theoretical study of pop art and analyze how the expression characteristics are applied to ceramic works. As a result of the analysis of the work, various images of everyday objects in popular culture are expressed in various ways such as bright and colorful colors, silk screen, lettering, photo montage, cartoon expression, object, collage, decoupage, It is believed that the art of ceramics will be created as a creative work that reinterprets the artistic value rather than reproducing the art based on the technique of pop art. I look forward to the development.

Primitivism is a concept that expresses and organizes natural feelings of human beings which is hard to be identified by a rigid definition. It means "staying in the beginning or the initial state, not evolving or developing, and not affected by human beings from the intact natural state". Based on this meaning, the artistic style features inherent natural beauties, as well as plain and inornate design. These features have been reflected in a variety of art pieces. The aesthetic features shown in the primitivism art pieces can be categorized into four different aspects: naturalness, folksiness, sentimentality, and humorousness. These features, influencing modern fashion, have been reinvented by a number of fashion designers. They also adopted ideas from the fancy clothes and ornaments created in carefree life style of the regions retaining their primitive cultures, such as Africa, Oceania, and Pacific coasts, and applied those ideas to various silhouette, colors, patterns, and textiles. Particularly as for textile expressions, they tried printing techniques using the patterns motivated from primitive folk symbols or the nature, applied objet of primitive materials and elaborated ornaments that represent folk and primitive feelings, and employed the primitive techniques such as knotting, crude cutting, or natural draping, to reinvent them as textile expressions in modern fashion.

현대 의상에서의 소재가 차지하는 비중이 날로 커지고 있는 가운데, 과거 공예적 성격을 띠고 있던 염직의 개념이 디자이너들의 자유로운 창작욕구를 표현하는 새로운 장르로 대두되면서 지금까지 사용된 재료와 표현방식에 국한되지 않으며 혁신적 재료의 사용과 개발을 통해 새로운 표현기법이 끊임없이 추구되고 있다. 인류의 역사와 함께 발전되어온 전통적인 기법인 홀치기염은 단지 실용성에서 벗어나 새롭고 다양한 조형예술로서 그 가치를 추구하는 작가의 끊임없는 노력으로 새로운 재료와 기법이 개발되고 그 표현 양식도 다양해지고 있다. (중략)
