A Study on the Setting Angle for the Flat-Plate Solar Collector' using Typical Meteorological Year Weather Data (평균년 표준기상데이터를 이용한 평판형 태양열 집열기 설치각 산정에 관한 연구)

  • In general, flat-plate solar collectors are generally fixed in place at some angles. The most common method is to orient solar collectors toward the true south, where variations up to 15 degrees east or west are acceptable and the tiIt angle of the collectors is calculated from latitude and different heating applications. However, the best angle of flat-plate collectors depends upon whether the dominant load occurs in the winter, summer, or evenly all year. Moreover, this setting angle must consider the average insolation characteristics of the region exactly. In this study, the setting angle of flat-plate solar collectors is presented for Busan area by using domestic typical meteorological year weather data, so that the fixed flat-plate solar collectors must be set as quantitatively as possible.

  • Building is a major energy consumer, and now many efforts are made to save energy in the design and using equipments. The most noticeable achievement in those efforts is a building energy performance assessment program. But most programs are not satisfying enough to provide exact meteorological data, and data source and calculation, and data collection period are not clearly defined. That is common in most of domestic programs. This study collects typical meteorological data in 16 items and analyzes them with Visual DOE 4.0 to compare with existing data. The comparison found that revised data shows a 11% increase on average during cooling period from June to September, and a 13% decrease on average during heating period from December to February, in terms of building heating and cooling load in a monthly basis.

  • Typical meteorological data is fundamental to computer simulation introduced for environment-friendly architecture designs. Therefore, in order to improve accuracy of computer simulation, typical meteorological data should be established. By examining how to choose typical meteorological data, this study selected the optimized weight factor for TRY where weighting factor was not clearly set. As a result, the same weighting factor was applied to each climatic element and TRY data where the weight factor was applied could have the distribution very similar to measurement data. The weighting factor is considered to reflect geographical characteristics of Seoul and applied climatic elements.

  • The meteorological data of 1 hour interval are required to write a typical weather data for building energy simulation. However, many meterological data are missing and the interpolation method to recover the missing data is required. Especially, lots of meterological data are replicated by linear interpolation method because the changes are not significant. While, the wind velocity fluctuates with the time or locations, so linear interpolation method is not appropriate in interpolation of the wind velocity data. In this study, three interpolation methods, using surrounding wind velocity data, Inverse Distance Weighting (IDW), Revised Inverse Distance Weighting (IDW-r), were analyzed considering the characteristics of wind velocity. The Revised Inverse Distance Weighting method, proposed in this study, showed the highest reliability in restoration of the wind velocity data among the analyzed methods.

Comparison of Methodologies for Typical Meteorological Data Generation for Seoul (서울지역의 표준기상데이터 산출방법론 비교)

  • This study aims to figure out typical meteorological data according to Korean time in order to evaluate building energy performance. Various methods of calculating typical meteorological data were compared and examined to improve accuracy and reliability of this study. This study analyzed and examined such methodologies as typical meteorological data for HASP/ACLD-8001, UK CIBSE TRY developed by CIBSE and prEN ISO 15927-4, (=ISO TRY) an international standard to evaluate annual energy demand of cooling and heating devices. In addition, actual data of KMA corresponding to Seoul in $1985{\sim}2005$ were statistically analyzed according to calculation methodology. The calculated typical meteorological data were compared te actual data using MBE, RMSE and t-Statistic. As a result, According to the comparison between average annual for HASP/ACLD-8001 and ISO TRY standard year, the average annual for HASP/ACLD-8001 is closer to actual measurement, showing that the use of typical meteorological data for HASP/ACLD-8001 is preferred. However, since the input format requested by current simulation is the same international standard as TRY. Therefore, it is necessary to improve accuracy of TRY calculation methodology and accordingly figure out Korean typical meteorological data based on average year.

  • 가뭄은 강수, 증발산, 대기온도, 토양수분 등 다양한 수문기상학적 인자들이 복합적으로 작용하여 발생되기 때문에 가뭄의 정확한 사상을 분석하는 것은 매우 어렵다. 또한 어떤 요인을 중심으로 고려하느냐에 따라 가뭄은 다양한 시각으로 정의되고 있다. 일정기간 평균 강수량보다 적은 강수로 인해 건조한 날이 지속되는 것, 즉 기상요소를 중심으로 가뭄을 정의하는 것을 기상학적 가뭄이라 하며, 작물의 생육에 필요한 수분을 중심으로 고려하는 것을 농업적 가뭄이라 한다. 또한 하천유량, 댐 저수량 등 전반적인 수자원 공급원의 부족을 수문학적 가뭄이라 한다. 이와 같이 다양하게 나타는 가뭄의 발생특성을 정량적으로 해석하기 위해 다양한 가뭄지수가 개발되어 왔다. 그러나 현재까지 개발된 가뭄지수들은 공통적으로 정형데이터를 활용하여 산정한다. 하지만 최근에는 비정형데이터를 활용하여 지수(Index)를 산정하거나, 재난관리에 적용하는 등 비정형 데이터의 활용이 급증하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 비정형 데이터(뉴스 데이터)를 활용하여 가뭄지수를 산정하고 기존의 가뭄지수들과의 상관성 분석을 실시 한 뒤, 지수결합을 통해 가뭄사상 분석의 새로운 방안을 제시하고자 하였다. 본 연구의 공간적범위는 2014~2015 충남서북부가뭄 지역 중 가장 큰 피해를 입었던 보령지역으로 선정하였으며 시간적범위는 2013~2016년으로 설정하였다. 비정형 데이터의 구축은 크롤링(Crawling)을 활용하여 네이버 뉴스의 기사를 수집하였으며 자료의 신뢰성을 위해 URL이 동일한 중복기사 및 '보령', '가뭄' 단어가 없는 기사는 제거하였다. 구축된 데이터를 기반으로 월별 빈도를 산출하고 표준점수(Z-score)로 환산하여 가뭄지수를 산정하였다. 산정된 가뭄지수가 어떤 가뭄의 유형(기상학적, 농업적, 수문학적)을 보이는지 확인하기 위해 기존의 가뭄지수들과 상관성분석을 실시하였으며, 가장 높은 상관성을 보이는 가뭄지수와 결합을 통해 새로운 가뭄 사상을 분석하였다. 본 연구에서 진행한 가뭄사상 분석은 향후 가뭄만이 아니라 다양한 재난분야에서 비정형 데이터를 활용한 분석의 기초로자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

Analysis of Drought Vulnerable Areas using Neural-Network Algorithm (인공신경망 알고리즘을 활용한 가뭄 취약지역 분석)

  • Purpose: In this paper, using artificial neural network algorithm, the Korean Peninsula was analyzed for drought vulnerable areas by predicting weather data changes. Method: Monthly cumulative precipitation data were utilized for research areas considering the specific nature areas, and weather data prediction through artificial neural network algorithm was carried out using statistical program R. The predicted data were applied to the Standardized Precipitation Index (SPI) to analyze drought vulnerable areas in the Korean Peninsula. Result: In this paper, the correlation coefficient values between real and predicted data are found to be 0.043879 higher on average than the regression results, using artificial neural network algorithms. Conclusion: The results of the research are expected to be used as basic research materials for responding to drought.

항로표지 관리운영시스템 표준 S/W 개발

  • 항로표지 관리운영시스템은 항로표지 상태정보 및 해양기상정보의 감시제어 및 정보 제공 등을 위하여 지방청별로 설치 시기 및 용역사에 따라 다양하게 개발되어 운영하고 있다. 항로표지 관리운영시스템을 도입한 지방청들은 표준화되지 않은 관리운영 S/W 및 데이터 베이스를 현장 상황에 맞게 변경하여 각 지방청별로 관리운영 S/W의 유지보수 예산의 중복투자 및 관리자의 관리 운영측면에서 어려움이 있다. IALA(국제항로표지협회)는 해사 안전 분야 데이터 교환 국제표준인 S-100에 따른 항로표지 정보 표준인 S-201 규격의 개발이 진행중이다. 이에 e-Navigation 도입을 대비하여 고도화된 항로표지 정보의 체계적이고 원활한 제공을 위해 S-201을 적용한 일원화된 항로표지 관리운영시스템의 표준 S/W 개발이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 S-201을 적용한 DB 구조를 설계하였으며, 사용자 편의성 및 시스템 관리 효율성을 개선한 새로운 항로표지 관리운영시스템 S/W를 개발하고 있다.

Analysis of cloud cover and solar irradiance of typical meteorological data (표준기상데이터의 운량과 일사량 데이터 비교 분석)

  • kDomestic studies on meteorologicaldata have been carried out, however they were mostly not constant but limited to fragment compilation. The studies on solar energy, among others, have been relatively active but the measurement of solar irradiance is also limited to some extent. This study, in an effort to identify the difference in data between solar radiance and cloud cover, was intended to compare and analyze the typical meteorological data developed by Korean Solar Energy Society with the solar irradiance calculated using the typical meteorological data and cloud cover data provided by current simulation program. Monthly average solar irradiance from the meteorological data (ISO TRY) of Korea's typical meteorological data which was actuallymeasured appeared to be far below the monthly solar irradiance from the American Department of Energy. The solar irradiance calculated based on cloud cover indicates very limited difference between the two data, so the solar irradiance measured by Korean typical metrologicaldata (ISO TRY) indicated the similar value, which demonstrates the solar irradiance data from Korean Meteorological Administration is more accurate than those US National Weather Center.

  • 대기의 상태는 지역, 시간, 기상 조건 등에 따라 변하므로 고도를 계산하는데는 북반구 중위도 지방에서 관측된 기상자료 등을 기준으로 제정한 표준대기를 적용한다. 속도를 계산하는데 전압과 정압의 압력차로 정의하는 항공기용 대기속도계 차압표를 사용한다. 계산된 에어 데이터는 비행계기나 cockpit display에 표시되어 조종사에게 정보로 전달됨과 동시에 자동조종 장치, 관성항법 장치, 비행관리 시스템, 항공관리 트랜스폰더 등에 기초 자료로 공급된다
