From the lack of common rule for the description of the characters and terms in bibliographic databases, it was hard to share information with other organizations and to obtain relevant bits of information through online retrieval. In this paper, the authors suggest a rule for the transcription of symbols and letters, that are found in articles. but impossible to input through CRT terminals, into the symbols and letters which is capable of input and retrieval. And, in the 'Hangul orthography' and 'Description rule of the borrowed words' which are officially announced by the Ministry of Education, more than two ways are permited for the expression of terms. In that case, to improve retrieval efficiency and to prevent 'confusion in description, they are regulated.

국제 협약에 따라 한글에 관한 정보는 로마자로 표기해야 한다. 우리나라는 1959년 2월 로마자 표기법'을 제정, 수차례 개정을 통해 1983년 6월 문교부(Ministry Of Education)안을 발표했으나, 표지판, 역명, 교과서, 공공문서들에서 활용되었지만, 영자신문, 외국 학술지등은 M-R( Mccune-Reishauer ) 표기법을, 인명, 신문 및 방송매체 등은 혼합표기방식을 사용함으로써 인(人). 지명(地名), ID, 대표어등 정보 검색시 혼란을 야기시켰고, 개정안에 따를 표기 정정으로 수백억원에 가까운 예산을 낭비하였으며, 최근 ISO(International Standard Organization)에서는 남북한 단일화 및 기계적 변환을 요구하고 있으나, 반달표 표기곤란, 편리성 결여, 북한의 주장등의 사유로 제정등을 거론하고 있는 실정에 있다. 잘 쓰지 않는 ASCII 코드 중에서 반달점 폰트를 제작하고 단어, 문장, 문서를 STRING으로 받아 알고리즘화된 음운법칙을 적용하여 소리글자로 변환하고 MOE테이블에서 대응글자를 참조하여 기계적 변환이 가능하도록 하였으며, 세련된 디자인, 풀다운 팝업방식을 채택, 2HD 1장으로 국내최초로 개발하였다.

As the spirit of reconciliation between the two Koreas ripens, the integration of mineral names is required in preparing the reunification between the South and North Koreas. Currently, mineral names in Korean do not adopt the guideline for romanization of Korean that was proposed by the National Institute of the Korean Language (NIKL), and different names are often used for an identical mineral species. Here, for mineral names in Korean, we suggest using (1) the suffix, "$s{\breve{o}}k$", both for metallic and non-metallic minerals, (2) names in the NIKL example-list if available, (3) the suffix "$s{\breve{o}}k$" for minerals whose names are based on the names of persons or localities.

In Korean documents, there are diverse spellings of transliterated foreign loanwords. This fact diminishes the performance of information retrieval systems in that a foreign word can be recognized differently, which is to say, as two or several different words. Thus, information retrieval systems require preprocessing to correct nonstandard loanword spellings prior to searching and recognizing corresponding equivalent words. This paper proposes a method that improves precision and processing efficiency using the Korean alphabet's viable prefix, which prunes a virtual tree from which candidate loanwords are created.

Gomaa에 의해 제안된 CODARTS(Concurrent Design Approach for Real-Time System)방법론은 COBRA(Concurrent Object-based Real-Time Analysis)을 사용하여 실시간 시스템의 행동 모델을 개발하고 행동 모델에서 병렬 태스크 구조로 변환하는 데 도움을 주는 태스크 구성 지침을 제공한다. CODARTS에서는 태스크 구성 지침을 RTSA(Real-Time System Analysis)표기법으로 표현된 행동 모델에 적용하여 태스크를 구성한다. 그러나 RTSA 표기법에는 태스크를 구성하는데 필요한 실행 성질 및 주기, 이벤트의 병렬성 및 순서와 같은 정보들을 기술하지 않기 때문에 직접 태스크 구성 지침을 적용하는 것은 어렵다. 본 논문에서는 CODARTS 방법론의 분석단게에서 태스크 구성에 필요한 정보를 통합적으로 나타낼 수 있는 STS (Specification for Task Structuring)를 제안한고 이를 이용하여 태스크를 자동적으로 구성할 수 있는 알고리즘과 적용 예제를 보인다.

BPMN(Business Process Modeling Notation)은 BPMI(Business Process Management Initiative)에서 발표한 것으로서 비즈니스 프로세스 모델링을 위한 표준 표기법이다. BPMN은 표준 모델링 표기법 이므로 다른 모델링 표기법을 익히는데 사용되는 시간을 줄이며 IT 및 비즈니스 사용자들 간의 의사소통을 증진시킬 수 있다. 이에 대응하여 WfMC(The Workflow Management Coalition)는 XPDL 매핑작업을 시도하여 BPMN을 XPDL로 표현할 수 있도록 하였고, 그 결과 BPMN에 매핑시킨 XPDL2.0을 발표하였다. 본 논문에서 설계한 모델링 시스템은 표준 표기법인 BPMN을 통하여 모델링을 하고 그 결과를 국제 표준화 워크풀로우 정의 언어인 XPDL2.0으로 제공하는 워크플로우 모델링시스템을 제안하여 다른 워크플로우 시스템들과의 상호 호환성을 제공하는 것이며, 역할 기반의 모델링 방식으로 복잡한 모델링 작업을 단순화 시킬 수 있다. 즉, 워크플로우 모델링 기능에 실시간 그룹웨어 특성들을 통합하여, 한 차원 높은 수준의 모델링 환경제공을 통하여 기존의 워크플로우 시스템들이 지원하지 못 했던 워크플로우 모델링 협동 작업을 실시간으로 지원 할 수 있을 문만 아니라, 요즘과 같이 대형화와 복잡화 그리고 다양화의 특징을 갖는 조직들의 워크플로우 들에 대한 효율적인 분석 및 모델링 환경을 제공하기 위한 워크플로우 모델링 시스템을 제안한다.

After automatic translation system for hangul's romanization based on the World Wide Web converting korean-word. sentence, document to Transliteration letters by applying algorithm based phonological principles. even though a user do not know the basic principles of the usage of Korean-to-Romanization notations. It refers to corresponding character table that has been currently adopted the authority's standard proposition for Korean-to-Romanization notation rule concurrently, add to make possible to convert a machinized code as well. It Provides font for toggling Korean-English mode, insert-edit mode by assigning ASCII codes are hardly used to them. This program could be made in C++ programming language and Unified Modeling Language to implement various font. font-expanding and condensing, alternative printing.

국어 어문 규정 검색 프로그램은 21세기 세종계획 프로젝트의 한민족 언어 정보화 분과에서 개발한 것으로, 한글 맞춤법, 표준어 규정, 외래어 표기법, 국어의 로마자 표기법 등의 어문 규정과 검색어에 대한 어문 규정 설명을 HTML 문서로 보여준다. 본 논문에서는 국어 어문 규정을 검색하기 위한 데이터베이스의 구조와 국민 어문 규정 검색 프로그램의 검색 방법에 대해서 논한다.

기존 객체 지향 방법론에 의한 소프트웨어 개발에서의 공통적인 문제점은 표기법이 복잡하고, 산출물도 많아서 사용자가 이해하기가 어렵다는 것이다. 또한 분석단계에 있어서도 객체추출의 자세한 가이드라인을 제시한지 않고 있어서 개발자들의 감각과 경험에 크게 의존하고 있어 일관성이 없으며, 추출된 객체들 사이의 연결을 찾기가 쉽지 않아 확장이 어렵다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 간단한 표기법과 산출물로 개발 초기부터 사용자의 참여를 유도할 수 있는 정보 구조 모델링을 이용하여 분석 단계에서의 객체 추출에 대한 가이드 라인을 제시하고자 한다.

This article investigates the problem of the processing of pronunciation and the scripts mainly in the cataloging of the East-Asian materials and its influence on the MARC formats, in terms of cataloging theory. Related cataloging rules and MARC formats are analyzed and evaluated and some findings are suggested.
