Study of Spatial Characteristics with Polyphony Film -Focused on the Movie Rashomon- (폴리포니 필름으로 본 공간적 특성 연구 -영화 <라쇼몽>을 중심으로-)

  • The characters' voices in the movie, Rashomon mean the absence of memories created by self-consciousness in order to avoid the crisis. The varying statements of the characters and the three spaces: the space of Nakanimon (th e ruins), the representation space as polyphony (the forest), the egoistic space of truth (the guardian), show the social ills of doubtfulness and mistrust among the Japanese at that time due to the defeat from the war. This matches with the polyphony theory of Mr. Bakhtin, a Russian cultural critic. The key concept of polyphony theory is that the voices that do not accord each other are not harmonized but each voice builds their own world and participates in the novel without being influenced by the creator. This study's aim is to discuss two aspects; Bakhtin's polypony theory allows polyphony film s to function as cinematic composition and spatial characteristics of polyphony films in the movie, Rashomon.

  • 폴리페닐카보실란은 페닐그룹을 포함하고 있는 카보실란계 고분자로서 열분해 후 과량의 탄소를 함유할 수 있는 세라믹 전구체이다. 카보실란계열의 고분자는 산화특성이 있어 SiOC 코팅 용도에도 사용되고 있는데, 폴리페닐카보실란은 free 탄소를 함유하는 SiOC:C 필름을 형성할 수 있다. SiOC 코팅 전구체로는 일반적으로 실리카졸, 실라잔 계열의 고분자, 실록산 계열의 고분자가 사용되고 있으나, 폴리페닐카보실란의 경우 상기 전구체에 비하여 보관 안정성 및 뛰어난 부착특성을 나타낸다. 기존 연구에서는 폴리페닐카보실란으로부터 형성된 SiOC:C 필름의 저유전막, 산화방지막, 분진방지막 등의 응용성에 대하여 고찰한 바 있다. 폴리페닐카보실란은 열처리 온도 영역에 따라 응용 분야가 달라질 수 있는데, 이에 본 연구에서는 각 열처리 온도 영역에 따라 형성되는 SiOC:C 필름의 구조적 변화를 고찰하였다. 필름 형성은 20 % 폴리카보실란 용액을 스핀코팅하고 대기상에서 경화를 실시하였으며, 질소 분위기에서 400 ~ 1200 도 범위에서 열처리하였다. 이렇게 얻어진 300 nm 두께의 필름은 XPS 표면분석과 FT-IR, Solid-NMR을 이용하여 C-Si-O 네트워크 형성의 거동을 확인하였으며, 800 도 이상에서 나타나는 특징적인 free 탄소는 Raman을 이용하여 확인하였다.

  • Polydiacetylene(PDA)-based sensors possess a number of properties that can be successfully applied for label-free detection system. PDA is one of the most attractive color-generating materials, with growing applications as sensors. Here we introduce various PDA-based devices, used as biosensor, chemosensor, thermosensor, and optoelectronics sensor. In general, PDA liposomes and films are closely packed and properly designed for polymerization via 1,4-addition reaction to form an ene-yne alternating polymer chain. PDA-based two/three dimensional structures have been used for colorimetric or fluorescent devices, sensing biological as well as chemical components. This color-generating material also present a very high charge carrier mobility, allowing its application as field-effect transistor (FET). The immobilized PDA structures or films have distinct advantages for the detection of low concentration target molecules over the aqueous solution-based detection systems. In the present review, reported detection methods by using various PDA structures are summarized with updated references.

Synthesis and Surface Characteristics of Novel Oligomeric Silane with Perfluoropolyether (과불소 폴리에테르 포함 새로운 실란형 올리고머의 합성과 표면 특성)

  • Perfluoropolyether(PFPE) has been widely applied in industry because of its very excellent properties of very high contact angle and low surface energy, good lubricant property and antifouling property. But the difficulty to synthesize PFPE has limited the research on this field. In this study, the novel silicon-containing oligomer with perfluoropolyether moiety was synthesized, and the structure was characterized by $^{19}F$-NMR and $^1H$-NMR. The surface properties of contact angle, sliding angle, and soil release property were investigated. The results show that PFPE in this study can be utilized as an anti-smudge coating material because it shows lower sliding angle and better soil release property than commercial products.

  • The UV hard coating materials are attracting more and more attention to modern industry, in terms of the development of low or non solvent coating materials which will contribute to economizing both materials and energy and to reducing pollution. This study was performed in order to invent UV curable coating materials containing colloidal silica which have actual industrial applications. As results of experiments, the oligomers type and the concentration of colloidal silica acrylate oligomer (SAOC) have an influence on various especially, The properties of UV hardening cooling, such as chemical, abrasion resistance and weatherability, were greatly enhanced, the impact properties of coated polycarbonate substrate were improved compared with the noncoated that. The UV cured films containing 30 wt% SAOC obtained showed the best properties.

Effect of Packaging Materials and Methods on the Storage Quality of Dried Persimmon (포장재 및 포장방법이 저장곶감의 품질에 미치는 영향)

  • Storage quality dried persimmons was evaluated by 5 scale scoring hedonic sensory analysis in various packaging methods and materials. Dried persimmons were deteriorated within 1 months of storage in polyethyene(PE, 0.08mm) and 1.5-2.5 months in nylon(PA/PE, 0.1mm) packages at room temperature, But those were kept good quality for 5 months of storage in PA/PE package and for 8 months in $CO_2$ or $N_2$ gas filled polyester/aluminum/casteded polypropylene(PET/Al./CPP, 0.1mm) package at $5^{\circ}C$. Dried persimmon had the best quality in water content of 37% and at humidity 75% and its shelf-life was noticialy prolonged by low temperature.

  • Bacteria grow biofilm on various surface such as separation membrane, food packaging film and biomedical device. Growth of biofilm is associated with the formation of a complex structure of exopolysaccharides. Effect of antibacterial effect reduce drastically once the biofilm developed due to the difficulties in mass transport of antimicrobial agent. In order to enhance the antibacterial activity, surface of the membrane is modified, coated or immobilized with functional materials with biocidal properties. One of the idea is to introduce positive charge on the membrane surface by the presence of quaternary ammonium group which might displace divalent metal ion such as magnesium or calcium present in the bacteria cell wall. Efficacy of cell membrane disruption depends on the mobility of the agents available directly on the surface environment. In this review, various biocidal agents like quaternary ammonium group, helamine or zwitter ion containing membrane are discussed.
