As Korean online game market is saturated, Korean online game companies are trying to push into North American market. In order to succeed in foreign markets, understanding of user characteristics in that country is most important. In this study, investigation on user characteristics has been performed using user DB from A online game and B online game. They are currently in service by M company in America. Connection time, payment, and royalty are analyzed as a results. Based on the analysis, several advance strategies into North America are suggested. This results could be very useful for Korean MMORPG company to try to push into North America.

의료기기는 다학제적 융합기술 분야이자 고 부가가치 산업으로 IT 기술의 발전과 초고령화 사회의 본격화로 높은 성장 가능성이 전망된다. 이 중 피부 부착형 (웨어러블) 및 인체 삽입형 (임플랜터블) 소형 의료기기는 포화된 스마트폰 시장에 새로운 성장 원동력으로 작용할 것이다. 따라서 본고에서는 생체삽입형 및 부착형 소형 의료기기 중 생체삽입형 전극 어레이, 스마트 콘택트 렌즈, 피부부착형 헬스 모니터링 디바이스의 개발 사례를 알아보고, 궁극적 소형 의료기기로 손꼽히는 복용형 디바이스에 대한 전망을 알아본다. 또한 각 유형별로 현재 극복해야 할 기술적 한계와 문제점을 짚어본다.

초고속 인터넷서비스 시장(ADSL과 CTV)이 불과 2년 만에 성숙단계에 접어들어 가입자가 포화상태에 이르면서, Post ADSL을 대비한 구축전략이 통신사업자를 중심으로 어떻게 전이될 것인가 하는 것은 초미의 관심 대상이다. 본 고에서는, 대체모형을 고려한 Bass 모델을 이용해 Post ADSL 가입자에 대한 추정을 하여 본 결과 2002년부터 시작하여 2003년 말에 153만 명, 2004년 말에 444만 명에 이르러 2005년부터는 초고속인터넷 서비스 가입자를 앞지를 것으로 예상되었다.

In the era of globalization, small and medium sized businesses (SMBs) are striving to attain competitive advantage in the rapidly changing and diversified markets. It is necessary for SMBs to enhance their global compentency in order to successfully enter overseas markets. In an attempt to shed light on how closely an SMB's global competency is related to how efficiently their employees can perform their tasks in the overseas market, this study examined the nature of English use in oral communication by twelve Korean men working in Dubai. Questionnaires and recordings were used to collect the data. The results show that English competency plays a crucial role in work efficiency in the overseas business context. Also, superior oral skills are considered the most important in doing business as it is the most frequently required form of communication. Participants of the study showed a tendency to make up for their lack of communicative competency by using various strategies. They tried to avoid communication breakdown by all means in order to get the task done.

Local freight forwarder's circle is suffering worsening profitability and insecure employment from over-competition which caused by a saturated local logistics market. It is emerging UN procurement market for local freight forwarders. However it is needed to study on successful entry, market status and supporting measures from government and research institute. Currently there are no national research data of UN procurement market in logistics sectors but as per the writer's experience and viewpoint to UN bidding, it would seem that appropriate measures should be made such as government's enhanced support for overseas advancement, price competitiveness, building global network and development of education program for trainees associated with current overseas internship program by government.

현재 국내 초고속 인터넷 인프라는 세계 최고 수준으로 xDSL 계열의 디지털 가입자 회선과 HFC(Hybrid Fiber Coxial) 망을 활용한 케이블 모뎀이 시장을 거의 차지하고 치열한 경쟁을 보이고 있다. 하지만 서비스 가입자 수준은 거의 포화점에 다다른 것으로 보이며 앞으로 속도를 비롯한 품질 면에서 진보된 차세대 인터넷 접속 서비스 구축을 계획하고 있다. NGN은 유무선 통합을 통한 다양한 서비스를 제공을 목표로 정부나 기업에서 추진 중은 차세대 통합 정보통신 인프라이다. 이 NGN을 실현시킬 수 있는 가입자 망 기술로서는 FTTH가 유력하게 거론되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 초고속 인터넷 서비스 수요에 대한 체계적인 분석을 통하여 NGN 서비스 특성을 반영하는 적절한 예측 모형을 제시하였다. FTTH 가입자 수요를 예측하기 위해 본 논문에서는 Bass 모형의 변형인 변형된 공존 Bass 모형을 이용하였다.

포털사이트의 웹툰 서비스는 웹툰 시장을 확대시켰고 작품 수는 대폭 증가하였지만 새로운 연출시도를 통해 여타의 작품과 차별성을 가진 작품은 부족한 실정이다. 강풀의 <순정만화>에 나타나는 연출은 이후 새롭게 연재되는 웹툰 연출에 많은 영향을 끼치고 있다. 특히 세로스크롤 활용이라는 웹툰 만의 특징을 보다 잘 활용해 웹툰의 특징인 칸 연출의 기초가 되었고 다중화자 방식의 내레이션 사용은 그의 대표적인 특징 중에 하나로 자리 잡았다. <순정만화>를 통해 매회 새로운 연출을 위한 강풀의 시도는 웹툰 시장의 변화를 가져왔으며, 웹툰의 포화상태인 현재, 지금까지는 차별되는 새로운 웹툰의 연출을 지속적으로 시도해야 할 필요가 있다. 따라서 새로운 작품의 연출 향상을 위한 시도는 앞으로 웹툰 연출의 새로운 변화를 가져 올 것이다.

기술변화에 의한 상품의 대체과정과 수요 성장 추세를 설명하고자 개발된 기존의 통계학적 수요예측 모형들은 확률밀도함수 또는 특정한 수학적 함수의 외형적 특성을 이용한 함수적 접근방법을 사용한 결과 과거 데이터들의 단순 경향치의 추세 설명에 한정되고 상한치를 향한 무한 접근 성장으로 일관되는 함수적 제약을 안고 있으며, 수요의 영향 요인을 반영하지 못하므로써 데이터가 없는 신제품 서비스 예측에 적용이 불가능한 문제점을 갖고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이들 문제점들을 극복하고 시장에 처음 출하되는 새로운 재화 또는 서비스의 수요예측 및 포화수준 도달 이후의 체감 성장에도 적용가능한 방법론으로서 수용의 결정요인을 반영한 예측모형을 제시한다. 모형의 예측능력을 판단하기 위해 정보통신 분야의 몇가지 대표적 제품 및 서비스를 대상으로 기존 모형(peal 모형, weibull 모형, NUI 모형, compertz 모형)들과 NTPS 모형(Nonasymtotic Technological Product Subsituation Model)을 적용하여 예측 결과를 비교하였다. 또한 본 모형을 활용하여 새로운 제품 및 서비스 수요예측을 위한 모수의 특성에 대하여도 검토해 보았다.

최근의 폭발적인 인터넷 사용의 증가와 또 그것과 유사한 품질의 서비스를 이동중에도 제공 받고자 하는 사용자의 요구와 음성통화 시장의 포화에 따라 무선 데이터 시장을 새로운 돌파구로 보는 제조업체 및 서비스 제공자의 노력으로 IMT-2000 서비스가 이미 진행되고 있다. 비록 2세대 디지털 셀룰러에서 IMT-2000으로의 진화가 현재 지지부진 하지만, 2010년경의 데이터 사용량 예측을 참고로 할 때 새로운 시스템의 출현이 필연적이다. 본 논문에서는 최근까지 논의된 4세대 이동통신에 대한 시스템 및 서비스의 비전을 제시하고자 한다. IMT-2000에서 화상전화를 목표로 하였다면, 4세대에서는 Telepresence의 완벽한 구현과 유비쿼터스 시대로의 첫걸음으로서 다양한 네트워크와 컨버전스를 강조한다. 본 논문에서 이 두 가지 특징을 중심으로 4세대의 비전을 기술하고자 한다.
